I'm making these and they are turning out so cute so I wanted to share.

This is why I'm home and able to be online at the same time I'm canning.
Farm garden's create a mass amount if veggies usually all at the same time so it's now or never
to get these gifts of food to jar and cupboard for year round enjoyment.
The felt pumpkins are from a free pattern I found. Pretty easy too.

those pumpkins are so cool. I made a couple of things today pretty amiturish but I had fun. Girl you did a lot of canning! You go!!
someone posted a dark chocolate banana bread pudding and I found the recipe on line and made it today it was wonderful!

Also made a scary coffee can candle holder set in coffee beans so it smells good and a plastic baggy ghose

I need to get a black candle for it though, all I had here at home was purple that I could spare. I have a sea shell soaking to clean it all out and am going to try making a candle tomorrow out of it.
Hope all has a soothing walk on the beach tonight. I think this is the last post that I have so wanted to say hi to everyone and will sure be glad when I can post again when I need to. Hugs to foots and a-z
peace and happiness to all. hugs and love to all

Edited to add TIP # 2 billion and one.
TIP:
IF YOU HAVE TO SHOUT to carry on a conversation, your furniture is TOO FAR APART!As we are heading into Fall, we want to be able to settle in with our
friends and family to have some nice conversations, without straining our ears.
Big or small room, this is an important tip.

Evening Beachie Kids!
The last 2 pages were amazing-----sweet/funny to clever/awesome & everything in between! I so enjoy this escape!
I agree about the "naming" thing & not intending to slight anyone--so maybe with the flip flops & towels given to newbies on the beach we should offer a permanent disqualifier & a promise that includes "A-Z" even when we don't type the names! I actually tried to make a list of all the names that come here, but can't manage to find it half the time! I am easily confused LOL I hereby promise that I DO NOT take any offense at not seeing my name & so solemnly swear to it!
I hope to post some of my own stuff (as promised) b4 week's end. I need her help & dd is VERY busy with Homecoming! I did not grow up with this tradition, but I love the small town attitude about it. The trees in our yard are currently strewn with toilet paper---if they do a really good job I will post a pic cuz it CAN be lovely--and is ONLY a nuisance! I used to keep vigil to catch them--then they got me one nite when I was sitting in the open window!!! They were silent & FAST--neighbors who watched said it was like a 3 minute ballet! After that I decided it is harmless & it team-building! What memories those kids are making......
Here is one of my favorite food pix! You all be well & stay strong.

Saint, wow, what a watermelon! And it spits, to boot!
I hope everyone is having a beachie keen day. I have also enjoyed looking at everyone's crafts. I really need to get into something like that. The pics are also great.

HA HA HA---seems I started something~
well.....my problem here is that I can't use my dd's camera very well, yet. I DID take some pix of some of my "stuff"---so excuse the horrid composition--anyone who cares to share any secrets for photgraphing stuff under glass I'd be pleased to hear 'em!
Here is a first attempt at watercolors using only black......be well & stay strong

Hey!! Thanks for sharing, saint-my-friend.
Maybe Lisa will have pointers for pic-taking. My camera has a setting called 'museum' that keeps the flash from showing up on the glass.
One more for the road:

nEEsie..... I miss you. Do you ever still read here, beachside? If so, I wanted you to know I miss you:

Hi there...when you have glass, try to take the photo without the flash even if you have to use something to stabilize the camera..sometimes it helps to take it at any angle...
