    Well this day's had an atypcial beginning. Our power went out in the middle of the night. It has been restored & I'm back.

    My parents were to come over to spend the night & visit -- it was to have been my scheduled, "smell the roses" day. Since it is soooooooooooooo cold here & the elec is acting finickie, we've decided that maybe they'd better wait a few days. We'll see if the weekend seems more hospitable. 

    So now I have the day back to "myself."

    Time to gear up for the big party!! I'll go plant the flag on the beach:

    It's not today sillies.  Hahahah.  I appreciate all the sentiments though.  Nice to get a good chuckle about it (almost) being my b'day.

    You guys are the greatest.  Even though we've never met, I feel like we have.

    I had an arm appt. today, just got home.  Not hiding.  But likely will tomorrow.

    I've been doing this arm crap since June Coonie.  I now know I should have started sooner but that's not the reality for me.  It will likely never be "normal" again but I'm trying to at the very least keep it from getting worse.

    I am SO glad to hear your's is responding well.  Good for you.

    In my dreams this is me..........see, I look at the lovely thin arms....

    Sharon, we're just ramping up to the big day. It's always more fun to stretch things out!!

    It looks like we now have 7 confirmed 'survivors' and a survivor's mom for our lunch on Fri. Amazing!!
