    Morning Beachettes.  So much happened since I last posted.........and I post a lot!!  Glad to see you all. 

    Beach hugs to all.  Waiting for Checkum to join us again.  She'll be pleased to know so much knitting is going on since her needles might be out of commission for a few days.

    Hi all, faith you are probably on the airplane now...

    I get a kick out of the knitting...My sorority sisters in collage

    taught me how to knit...then a group of us would sit in the back

    row of a class, one of us would take notes and the others 

    knit..we would rotate the note taker...we sure knit a bunch of sweaters...

    Now I knit laprobes for hospitalized veterans here at our VA hospital...

    It is couldy today at the beach..maybe the sun will come out this afternoon..

    i am sore but doing ok today was a bit rough to start as my bp went way down ... they gave me fluids and potasium and i am doing better]

    so glad to hear that you're on this side of things -- glad they were able too intervene for your BP

    we are safely back in OH..... at the babeez house & they're all sleeping! geeeeeeesh.

    Hey Checkum,

    Grand to see your posts.  Let them look after you and just you concentrate on gaining strength.  We're holding a chair for you and will even get you a new pair of flip flops.  Whatever it takes.  We love ya.  Thanks so much for posting.  Now rest!

    Wow, it is so good to hear from you Checkum, hopefully the bp will be up and normal tomorrow and you will get to go home Monday.  We are watching out for you.

    Oh Wow! I loved seeing your Celia-duck inspiration. How brilliant. What a gift. What a Celia! What a kindness, a thoughtful act by a talented individual. I'm squeezing myself so I don't cry...... oh maybe starting the day w/a few tears is a gift, after all.

    Well our Christmas party last night was sooooooooooooo much fun. It was the annual holiday gathering for a group of my DH's service-club. We've gotten together every year @ Christmas time, (often on my birthday) and this year there was a snaffu w/the place & our reservation...... so it took till mid-Feb to get everyone's calendars coordinated.

    So all evening I got my "Happy Birthday" greetings. We kept wishing each other Merry Christmas, everyone kept saying 'well, have a happy New Year!'

    This was supposedly the 'final' event as the men have decided to disband their group. They've been together for over 20 years, so last night was a bit reflective, too.

    We women (the guests) decided that we'll be in charge for the next 20 years. Even tho we usually only saw each other once or twice a year -- there are some wonderful memories.

    Checkum. Thinking of you this morning. Praying that your BP has stabalized & that you're beginning to feel a bit of spunk. Sending you: HOPE HOPE HOPE HOPE HOPE.

    I'm going w/DD to take the 3 kiddios to church this a.m. as her DH is off at the Base for drill this weekend. She says it's 'do-able' to keep the 3 of them in the service. Can't wait to see how this will work????
