Hi ..... was I doing better.... cant tell, pneumonia, screaming hubby, crying, headache, heartache, reconciliation, radiation, and today hubby went with me for meeting with rads onco.... afterwards we had breakfast (9 am meeting). Walked out of the restaurant and threw up all the way across the lobby of the hospital. Can you say MORTIFIED? And tummy has not settled down much.... tomorrow I have 3 appts - same hospital. Could they not have descreetly available barf buckets? It is a cancer hospital, surely I am not the first to do this.

Oh Dream, hugs. You are right, you can't be the first. I'm sorry this happened to you. Hope the tummy settles down before bed time.

Hey beachies! Been a long day, but it's nice to come here and relax:)
{{{{{{{{{dream}}}}}}}}} so sorry about your tummy. That's the PITS!!!
Checkum's getting her drains out!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!! That will be such a relief!!
Glad you're able to save on the driving for PT too.
Sharon, why don't you just call and get your mammo done tomorrow instead of
dreading it until April? I just hate things like that hanging over my head!

I still can't see toyful's family picture and I really want to.
sorry dreams about your tummy, I did that on the nurse after the mastectomy from the anesthetic. It is so embarrasing.
My son called to say he met president Obama this week and he invited him to listen to him speak yesterday and he wend and said he enjoyed it. I am not much of an Obama fan though.
I didn't go to life group tonight or to 5 to 7, my DH went though. I just was too bummed out today to go. I haven't even got dressed today. I am so truly blessed so don't know what is making me so down except dreading the funeral tomorrow. I hate losing my friends. Another shining star.

What a fun day here in sunny FL. It even felt like FL today!!
Gonna go play with my blog & attempt to get it updated. Give me a couple hours. LOL.
Dream, I'm sending you lots of encouragement and wishes that the memory of today is squeezed right outta your brain, and replaced with a happily-ever-after story.

My computer has apparently eaten it's web connector-gizmo.
The second solution that we installed today is also without success.
In any case, I've been attempting for the last 40 minutes to give you a hug, Spar.
Could you tell?
(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Spar))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
One of the posts that I wrote, that went no where, rambled on about our emotions sometimes running amok..... taking over when our brains know better.
Now I can't seem to find any sort of semblance of what I mean..... but the hugs are there anyway.

We're here for you.

Thank you. Tomorrow I have to spend from 11am to 6 pm at the scene of the crime. Will take my anti nausea meds first..... Sally managed to gallop out of the way.....
This ranks right up with a nurse saying "Are you SURE thats a bowel movement?"

OH! Thought this would get your attention! I was busy tanning with my new boyfriend, I missed you all!!Naw, feeling sick last couple of days so was hanging low after work. A lot of sleeping. I actually feel more human today
Saw onc doc before chemo today. I expressed to him my increased pain in certain areas, and new pain in another area. He is awaiting for my tumor markers and thinks perhaps that I am back to work, it is creating the pain again. He sent me for an X-Ray of my right arm. I have mets there and he wants to make sure the bone has not cracked seeing the pain I have there is worse. It is all good though
Coonie: is that you??????? You are so totally beautiful and you look so sweet! Well, you ARE sweet, but it sure is nice to put a name with the face!
MaryLou: You are beautiful too and you look like my friend Cheri.............your hair is so awesome!
Spar: Now I am going to be singing that song in my head all night. "Scooby, Scooby da doo, I need some help from you now!" LOL, thanks for the laugh!!
Faith: I LOVE hearing about your adventures! All that you do, you are an amazing person I swear!
Foots: Your poems and prayers are so inspirational. You always make me think, and you are quite articulate. Thanks for your sweet words, as always!
Checkum: Drains out yet? Toe(s) pain still? I really hope you are feeling better.
Dreamwiter: Sorry you feel crappy. That sucks, and I hope tomorrow is kinder to you.
Lastly, sweet sister Toy: So nice to hear you are feeling better. i have been thinking about you TONS and glad things are looking brighter for you. The cabin looks so beautiful and it is calling your name!!! I do hope you go, you need this vaca big time! I saw a house decorated in St Patty's decor on the way to work the other day, and I totally thought of you!!!!! I will check out your game soon when I am feeling better. I just wanted to drop you ladies a line to let you know I am thinking of you all.
Marejo: YAY! Nice to see you here!!!
Everyone else, thinking of you beach babes too!!! Going to take a mini nap now before I pack it in for the night. I pray for you ladies all the time, and thanks for making me smile and laugh. i LOVED all the pics!

Wow. Today's a big day for our beach bunnies.
Checkum best wishes that your drains are able to be removed & you can cross that hurdle.
Mary Lou this is an enormous milestone day for you, too. Somehow I was unaware that you were still facing one last surgery. May it be totally uneventful and accomplish the desired results!!
Dream I know you've got a marathon day of appointments. May it go smoothly & you receive all sorts of support & encouragement in the process. I pray your medical team has wisdom for you.
Spar with today's funeral I know you'll be running the gauntlet of emotions. Sending you hugs and strength to put your friends life into a celebratory focus. ((((((((((((((((Spar))))))))))))))))))))
Curlie, I'm so glad to read your lovely, lengthy post above. You certainly did get my attention. Your return to work must be a large portion of the equation, glad your team is on it & listening to you. I'm glad that my adventures add to the entertainment quotient for ya. There are quite a few on the horizon ahead.
Everybody else A to Z...... hope this day brings you joy.

Good morning Beachettes.

Toy, where are you? You seem to be missing again.
Checkum........yahooo, fingers crossed today is drainless Thurs.
Lisa, as always.......beautiful pics. I especially love the churning ocean by the Mexican border.
Dream, hope you day goes better today. Good idea of Lisa's to have a bag in her purse. (And pray you never have to use it.)
Spar, I'll be thinking of you today as you attend the funeral. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Curlie, I'm surprised you checked back so soon. What a hunk. I hope you are able to get the pain under control.
Mary-Lou, good luck today with your surgery. Last one? That would deserve another yahooo!
Foots, the rainbow is for you.
Coonie, I've missed you the last few days. Is that DH of yours working you too hard? Do you want me to spank him for you hehehehe

Julz and Hope, where are you?
All those from Z to A.............BBH. (Big Beach Hugs:))

Greetings Sharon and MJ.
Today is a cyber-paperwork busting day. I have so many proposals and documentation preparations to do that I'll be sitting with this contraption in my lap for hours to come...... but not even getting to splash here with you buds.
It's funny, cuz when I launched myself/independantly into this buz (now 13 years ago) I was excited cuz I thought there wouldn't be any paperwork to hassle me -- one reason to celebrate my departure from having been an administrator.
HA! Who knew there could be this much paper trail to be somewhere for a day?? Every visit requires it's own financial tracking/taxes etc and now there's literally an avalanche of papers for people to recieve 'credit' for listening to me.
AND TO THINK that you guys are subjected to 'listening' to me every day -- and you don't get any official credit. HA! That's what makes ya friends, I suppose.
So picture me in a paper blizzard and that will summerize my day.

Good morning beachies! Don't have time to say Hello "personally" this morning. Yes, Sharon, my husband needs a spankin!! I'm back off to the work place AGAIN! Hope all of you guys have a wonderful day!!! Save me a chair!

I'm off to work with Coonie so I'll be busy today too. We'll be planning our boat trip during breaks. We DO get breaks don't we Coonie?
Heck, with this ship we could take EVERYONE.
Edit to say, apparently not, pic disappeared.
I still think this one's my fav because of the greenery.

Okay, time to get ready for work. Hahahaha.
Edit to say, holy cow, does the pennant say Wally? That's my dog's name.

Making use of our 'youth' as best we are able.
Edited to add yesterday's quote. Seems fitting to post them together.
