SoCalLisa.  How wonderful you have the arts of the sea right there.

Just think of the stories behind each one.

Do you set them out around your beautiful pool so that the sun shines off of them for you to enjoy.

I hope your end of the beach gets some of the rain we are supposed to get tomorrow.

Well, just checking in Beach Babes.  I've got some more squares bordered. Checkum, all of yours are bordered and when I get some of Spar's done I will start making a few rows.  They are simply gorgeous.

Its nice to have something to do while watching TV and feel a little productive.  I also managed to clean a corner of the garage and toss/declutter 'stuff' that was just wasting space and providing a home for critters.

Love all the beach pictures and especially the ones you posted of the cabana boys!  Very nice eye candy.  Well, back to crocheting.

XOXO Julz and Jazz.  :  )

If I can remember my crocheting I will add some squares.

    I know it's like riding a bike ( Hi Janny ! ) XOXO.

Once you ride you never forget but I need some help.

I'll buy some yarn and search for my needles and give it a go.

    Stay tuned.

My goodness, Faith hasn't been here for........yikes........quite a while.  I'm suprised she's not pulled over on the road trying to get a signal on her laptop to check in.

Sahalie, it took me a while to get the right # of stitches on which needle to get the (almost) desired width.  I guess we all knit with different tensions.  And even with all my measuring......I overdid the length.  I'm a slow knitter so I've just sent the one so far.  Can't wait to hear it's arrived.

The size we are doing is 7" x 9" and any color on this earth is welcome.  I truly can't believe Faith has not checked in yet, un oh maybe she is getting over her addiction.

All of you guys are welcome on the mountain thread also.  Just wanted you to know.

So glad to see all the beach friends today.  What a wonderful blessing.  I can hardly wait to see some more crafty things to get those juices flowing.  I am going to make a pair of those flip flops and also with eyelast yarn I am going to make some flip flops.  I will post pictures when done.  My next visit to hobby lobby.  Man, I love that store.

I found some earrings made with sea glass

aren't they beautiful.  May try making some of those.  My DH and I made  biblical key chains and necklaces to put in the sacks of food we give away on Wednesday nights and printed out lots of color by number pictures, dot to dot, and coloring pictures for kids and they were all gone, the kids grabbed them up so fast.  Got to buy some new toner cartridges for my printer and do it again.

People that have nothing are so happy with little things.  It is such a blessing to be able to help.

Hugs and lots of love  to all.

Let it be known hence-forth in the book-of-the-beach, that I was able to manage on my own for OVER 24 hours!!! I missed ya like crazy & would have been posting 45 minutes ago, but it took me that long to read back. You've been having so much fun!! Love it!! (And I still have to go back for the songs.......)

So funny. I drove for over 19 hours and kept my funny little truck keys safe and sound the whole time. Parked the goof-ball contraption in our driveway, and was slugging my bags and laptop and suitcase, and props and and and and into the house.

Then I went to find the keys so I could go back and lock it up and they were literally no where to be found. Yet I'd just arrived safely???? Had to retrace my steps 14 times.... going thru pockets, my purse, the trash..... you name it. I finally found the key!! It had fallen into bag number 32.

    What a hoot.

Today was a lovely success. I had the 'ballroom' complete with space, a microphone, sound system AND a screen!!!! (Had none of those little details yesterday, for neither the seminar, nor the workshop.) ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD people!! Lots and lots of responsive, energetic, eager, people. One young-curlie-headed teacher boy-man that jumped so enthusiastically during my jumping song I thought I might cry.

And one other minor miracle. This morning as I was getting all of the technology hooked up....My heart gave out when I realized I'd "lost" the plug to my LCD projector in all of the nonsense of yesterday. THUD. Very hard to run one's PowerPoint, when the projector has no juice. I was conjuring up Plan B and the fellow in charge of technology dipped into his "Magic MilkCrate" and produced one for me. (Of course I donated TO his magic crate yesterday, by leaving mine behind) But the thought of his being there with it in his hand within 3 minutes just made me want to kick my heels up in appreciation of the guardian angels that do indeed keep us safe and watch over us.

So over-the-moon delighted to see all of the posts and to hear the goodnews of rejuvinated beachie bunnies.

Wonder if I can unwind long enough to fall asleep??

    xx00xx00xx00xx00xx00xx00xx00xx00xx

I passed all those high tech truck stops with internet, just to make it home before turning into a pumpkin!! Whooooohoooooo.

Lisa, that's got to be the prettiest color on that bird! Were you that close to him, or did you zoom? That pic is perfect.

Well beachies...it's night night time. I hope you all sleep tight, painfree, pleasant dreams, and awake in the morning all refreshed and energized.

I'm leaving our flip flops on the sand, so tomorrow we can pick up where we left off. I'm sure Faithie will have some good ditties to share when she comes ashore. Hope you had a safe road trip Faith!

If I win the lotto tonight there will be no problem finding transportation.  However, Air Force One may be a little more than money can buy.

Am regaining my strength.  See my onco on Thurs.  so will know more then.

Looking at starting a new quilting project.... its a weekend bag and its gorgeous.  And I can work on it and carry it around in a fairly small project bag.
