All of you, I love my on line friends too, so very much. You guys are just so important. Beyond words!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spar, that hat is adorable!!!! But we want to see a picture of it ON you! Did you use the double pointed needles to make it? You will have to teach me if you have time when you come through. If not, then I will just have to make a trip to see you one of these days.

Now you have me in out-right, crocodile-sized, dripping from my nose, tears.
I was attempting to say thank you to you, the collective "YOU" that keeps us all tethered here together and now I've gone and unleashed a polka-dot, flaminco-dancin' festival complete with all the requisite food and entertainment. [While that wasn't my intention -- it may very well be just exactly what the doctor ordered.]
You know, I think one of the 'bizarre' outcomes of a dx of BC (or perhaps any C?) is that we have an inordinate -- and completely unknown length of time to ponder our own mortality, our legacy, the difference our little dance has made. I'm not far enough down the road to place a value on this overt invitation for reflection and pondering, I'm just aware of it's existence.
On a sunny afternoon like today, walking my wonder-children thru the park, throwing stones into the "schwamp" I'm grateful for the "need" to continually be in an attitude of gratitude. I think I would have marveled at their antics without BC in my rear-view mirror, but I truly think I look at these sort of afternoons as a slice of Eden made more pronounced because of the prism that I see 'everything'.....
Holy Muffin Mix, indeed. (That just covers so much, doesn't it??)
Group hug!!

thanks Sharon, they were fun to make.
Come on guys in Hawaii they put whole pigs in the sand to roast, I don't want any part of the head or butt, ok? You guys can have that part. LOL
Jaz I used the bamboo circular needles until I got to the part at the top and then had to change to the double point.
Coonie, Sharon look, its not so bad.

This isn't quite how I pictured it, poor little pig, I wonder if he had a name

At least this one has an apple if you don't like meat.
We need some music going. Jaz what was that hawaiian guy that sang somewhere over the rainbow, we need him for some authentic music.

Hi Beachettes! It has taken 5 hours to read several days of postings. After each post, I rested my eyes and fell asleep for a little while! What a dramatic read! First there was something about a potential blacklist, then Jaz had a job loss but a great attitude as to what might be next, then a dramatic delayed birthday extravaganza (my best wishes to SoCalLisa for a wonderful year!) then a beautiful description of what the beach means to Faith that was confused with a possible retirement from the beach (but the beach IS retirement!) which turned out to be a big misunderstanding, Days of Our Lives could not have written a better script!
While all this terrific drama was transpiring, I have been in laying in bed or going to the hospital for hydration. I am so weak and in alot of chest pain that it is hard to type or talk on the phone. It seems you need your chest muscle to do both of these things. But since I can obviously get to the hospital with help, I think I should be able to get to the airport with help also! I am just super duper trying to rest up for departure next Tuesday! My SO got out our suitcases today so that is step 1. Happy St, Patricks Day to All!

Toy. Glad to have supplied you with entertainment: uplifting and emotional.
Maybe we can submit a title: "How the Waves Roll" to the networks, and our own Dream could handle the script writing?
Know that we are locked in collective round-the-clock prayer -- beseeching the heavens for your safe travel to nirvanah.
Prayers for your comfort.

Oh I have already written that part and she does arrive safely... however due to that chest pain, I hope she has asked doctor for okie dokie to fly. Please note that the script lags in places due to long periods of slumber in the warm shade. Short splashes through the surf. And private times with family. She will have to provide details when she returns so I can flesh out the script. She does have her flip flops packed.

Coonie. Thinking of you, your dear dear dear husband and your FIL as he goes thru the procedure ahead. May you all be held in the loving embrace of our Creator's arms.
Sleep well. Sleep easily.
We are here for you.

Toyful, I'm so glad you were able to post. I pray they will get the pain under control and that you will improve daily to be ready for your wonderful Hawaiian adventure. Coonie, not sure what procedure or who, I must have really been a lousy multitasker today, but I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Thank you Faithie....It's the first one in the morning...7:00 AM sharp. The doctors need wisdom on how to handle this particular pacemaker. And, he need to start feeling much better, real soon!
(((((((((((((((hug to EVERYBODY)))))))))))))))

Thanks Jaz...it's my FIL...having trouble with current pacemaker. They are going to fix that one, or switch it out for a new one. Either way, it sounds pretty serious dealing with the heart. Thanks for offering up a prayer for him. He goes in at 7 AM tomorrow morning.

Coonie. I have an early morning tomorrow (our Children's Hospital) and didn't plan to come on here until I get home in the afternoon. Know that I will be holding you up in prayer.
The reason that I love rainbows is due to the promise that we have -- thru the worst of storms, we are never alone. Breathe deeply.
