Toyful, please just rest, get plenty of liquids, step 2 pack me in suitcase, hope it is a huge one. I will be praying for your pain level to decrease and breathing increase and for you to have the most wonderful time of your life on this vacation. So glad you posted today.

Coonie, I have to tell you this story, growing up we bought a baby pig and I loved that pig, it was a pet and so cute and funny. When he grew up I learned he was going to be butchered and put in the freezer. I cried and cried and there was no happy ending, they killed him anyway.
Its funny how you get attached to strange animals sometimes. But if you make a pet of them, they all have personality.
Love you guys and need to get off the computer soon and get GD ready for bed. She is hyper.
Edited to add flowers, no picture at top of page you have to sit in the corner a minute for every how old you are and I am old and can't sit that long. LOL

Good morning beachies! Lisa, said a prayer for your FIL this am, I know he will be in the best of hands! I did Cardiac nursing for 5 years back in the day as a new grad, I saw the surgery and it was so amazing. Does he have a defibrillator implanted as well do you know? Amazing how small the pacemakers are now a days! Please keep us posted as to how things went for him, HUGS!Toy, so nice to hear from you! I am so sorry you are is pain, I wish I could snatch that up for you! I had corn beef and cabbage (and regretting it this am, uh um) and thought of you. I was eye balling the green beer but knew I would REALLY regret that this am!
Oh Spar....the pig story....so sad! Reminds me of Charlotte's Web and Wilber, remember him? And the movie Babe made me cry........I love pigs too!

Here is my yellow polka dot bikini! NOT!LOL, never wore a bikini in my life, but have worn a tank-kini which is awesome and comfortable! It hides my lil beer belly action going on! LOL! That is where all my weight goes, in my mid-section. After I hit 30, it was all down hill with the 6-pack belly! It is a sign of femininity...............That is what I say!

Ha! I'm first one up this morning! Wake up all you sleepy heads. Woohoo ..,middle of the week. That means the weekend is almost here. I've signed up for a basic photography class at a local camera shop that will start next week. This should be fun and get me into the basic of how to use my camera. Prepare for a proliferation of flower pictures since spring is finally here. A boquet everday. LOL

Toy.......it's so wonderful to read your post and to know from Dream's script (thankyou Dream for not keeping us in suspence and now we know the trip will be a resounding success, well written!) that you will have a healing time with family and beach breezes.
Faith, congrats on the 2 year versary and glad you are staying. Besides, you must have permission to leave the beach.

Top of the morning to all you ladies!! Thank you for your well wishes. I know FIL is in good "HANDS".....Curlie...he does have a defib....can't spell it, but you know what I mean. He's not a young rooster anymore.....79 years old, but doesn't let nothing stop him. I'll tell him my BC sisters are praying for him. He'll appreciate that!!
I couldn't handle the roast pigs Spar. I had several pet pigs too while I was growing up. It's just too hard to get attached and then something happen to them. I know I eat pork, but.......I didn't pet it and feed it first

Jazz, you don't let no grass grow under your feet, so proud of you. Soon you will be the beach photographer. Do you travel, you could do weddings, you can come to my house and do flowers and trees and sit on my porch (when I get it built. LOL) Maxine is my very favorite cartoon and garfield is second. I have a couple of stuffed garfields my grandkids gave me that I love.

Just home from "school" for the day and DD has decided that we need to take the circus-act children to the real-live-zoo! The sun is out..... sooooooooo off we run.
I just popped in to see if we had any news regarding Coonie's FIL & hallelujah!! it sounds like there's good news. Eager for the full report Ms. Coonie. So tickled for ya that this step has gone well.
That sunflower collage was just magnificent! There's absolutely NO color in OH yet, but the hint is starting to bloom. Grow, grow, grow. (My DH always 'speaks' to the grass/trees/flowers.) I sure am missin' him.
Must go change outta my head-to-toe polka dots and see what I can find that's a little bit more reserved.

Hi ladies
I am just packing up..we are headed to Palm Desert, up over the mountains and high desert down, down to the Palm Springs area...we are going for the Indian Wells Tennis tournament final weekend and hope to enjoy it and our friends there...so Hopefully I will have some photos..very different from the Sounthern California beaches even tho there is alot of sand in the desert..lots of beautiful flowers there too, and there may even be some snow on top of the mountians surrounding it.,.
so I will be mostly away from the internet,...but I will be thinking about us..Hugs, SoCal

You know how we miss who ever is gone and when we don't know the story -- we can get truly concerned, when there's absolutely no need.
