Goodmorning, lots of fun on the beach this morning.

On facebook, Mary-Lou's husbands test was neg but will have surgery and possiblity of deep tissue cancer so keep those prayers coming.  Hopefully she will stop by and wade a bit with us.

I want some of those gold stars

Sharon I don't see a red x I see a chicken, it is weird how some can see and some can't.

We had to dig up some of our plants and put in the house because of the heat and then a cold front and we want lots of veges to save on the grocery bills and enough to take some to Jaz, the time is getting closer.

Everyone have a wonderful day, lots of hugs and love on the way.

I'm so sorry I have left you guys wondering. Thanks faith for keeping our gals informed as much as you can. Also thanks to all for your prayers.

I will post this, I copied and pasted from 2005 chemo board.

    I'm tired.

    Update on Michael:

His test was negative so far. But the doctors said there my be cancer deep inside the tissue.  He has a large colon tumor. We won't know anything more till the surgery on Tuesday. I will update on FB more because that's where friends and family all are. So much easier to keep up with .

I will also update here , just not sure how often.

    Keep us in your prayers.

Just a quick hi.  Am changing drugs and feeling tired out.  Looking forward to lunch with "the aunts" (2 of Davids aunts and MIL) tomorrow.  I feel ok but I swear I can smell my chemical pills.  It is horrible and it does not wash away.  My daughter says she cant smell anything so hopefully she is not just saying that to make me feel better.  I would hate to be a stinky thing.

Ohhh Dream...maybe you're the only one who can smell it:) but that's bad when you have to smell something like chemicals. I wonder how long that will last?

Is Faith passing out gold stars? Well, I have been a good girl and I want one too! After taking a very very short nap, I went outside and dug up a bush that I've hated since we've been in our house. Now you talk about hard work......whew! Now I need to figure out what to put in that corner of the fence....something bright and pretty and low maintenance....any suggestions would be appreciated....

(((((((((((Mary-Lou))))))))))) praying for you and your DH. The waiting part is so hard!

Think I'm just gonna take a time-out here if I don't get my gold stars :(

Since I've appointed myself to be the "gold-star-monitor" I will sprinkle them on each beachie babette as you slip into your cabana tonight.

Mary Lou and your dear husband, we all encircle you in our prayers. May your medical team be brilliant and insightful and bring the full weight of heaven to your care. Twill be thinking of you both as the weekend unfolds.

Toy, many prayers for you as you contemplate your amazing get-away.

Dream, I can't smell anything, and I have a really good sense of smell.

Footie, sending you sunshine and lemonade till tomorrow night.

    big hugs.

I have an inordinately l-o-n-g day tomorrow and won't be in till late. Must leave house by 6:10 at the latest....The next three weeks are gonna be a marathon of fun. Know that I carry you with me in my heart.

Hello beachettes, it's finally me! I have had lots of pain and discomfort in the last several days. If I was in a little less pain right now, I could make this story sound interesting, but I can barely type this. The pain in my chest seems to be untouchable, no amount of pain pills help. I had been getting IV fluids every other day so that I could nice and hydrated for Hawaii, but they took a chest xray today and says I am carrying about 3 pounds in fluid around in pockets in my chests and my pleural wall. I thought it was miraculous when I weighed myself yesterday before hydration and had gained 3 pounds! So it turns out the hydration was harming me rather than helping me. Meanwhile, at infusion yesterday they thought I looked very gray, so measured my oxygen sats and found that while laying down I was only getting 84% oxygen saturation. So they ordered me oxygen. The oxygen just finally arrived a few hours ago. I could barely breathe and felt like I was losing consciousness all day. So finally I got hooked up to the oxygen and immediately felt much better. But there is still the chest full of fluids and the crazy chest pain. On top of all this, I met with my lawyer for the first time this morning and had to make a bunch of crazy decisions.

It's just too much for one day! I can't believe I am actually going to make it to Hawaii. I do have to call tomorrow and order up some in-flight oxygen from the airline. I hope that all works out fine. I already have it arranged to have the oxygen set-up awaiting me at the cottage. Okay, I am going to sign out before I pass out, but first I want to thank you all for your continued prayers and support! If I can get myself there and back in one pieces, I will be thrilled!

Calm seas and gentle breezes to all.

Coonie, have we decided how we are getting to Hawaii?  We'd better make up our minds quickly.  And we must take in to consideration there could be a few stowaways on board.Wink

Good morning beach friends! Hope you all are having a good Saturday so far. I'm so glad to see that Toy posted a message. (((((((((Toy)))))))))) praying for your strength and breathing and pain to be easier on you for your trip. Let others do as much as they can for you so you can save your strength for the trip. While there, we'll try not to bother you too much:) We will be as quiet as a mouse. Of course, we'll all be outside sleeping in whatever we can find:)

    Sharon....this isn't a plane, but maybe faster than a boat....how 'bout it?
