    this is a tribute to Angel Charlene who started this wonderful beach thread and intended it to be for sisters to lift each other up through good times and bad time.  Bless you Charlene

    Is it earth day Spar?  Well anyway, yes, hugs to Charlene.  It would be nice to see more frolicking on the beach but...........maybe in time.

    Oh wow!! I'm back home to my house -- after the first segment of my road trip. Cleveland was awesome. Can't wait to get the pics downloaded.

    The best news on the beach is that Toy is resting easier. Hallelujah.

    And news from CurlieQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ.

    Thanks to all for posting the gorgous images. Such a wonderful way to return home. I'm so grateful for the investment of time -- it is such a gift to the community.

    I just noticed that the beach has generated over 100,000 views in the past year. Talk about a tribute to our dear angel -- that speaks volumes. LITERALLY.

    Gonna go skip about and attempt to get caught up around here, with my email etc.

    After the 3 hour drive home, I promise, my feet are up. I'm smelling the roses above and I won't move from this spot till I go to bed. LOL.

    Coonie. I am indeed blessed.

    Today I was at the Cleveland (Cuyahoga Co) Board of MRDD.

    Mental Retardation/Developmental Disabilities.

    These children are such heros to me.

    There was such an array of needs. Children with Down Syndrome, hearing loss, wheel chairs, standing boards, computerized 'speaking' machines, bottle thick glasses, a little character with no arms...... I could go on and on and on.

    There was a child who's father was imprisoned early in the week.

    So many needs. Such a dedicated staff. I was able to 'play' with them due to the generosity of a special grant for my visit.

    I'll put up pics on my blog later tonight.

    I am so full.

    Thanks so much for that parade of balloons posted earlier. Brought me to tears.

    Hi Girls,

    Just wanted to stop by and wish Faith's Little Beach Earthling Babies a Happy First Birthday. Hard to believe it has been a year already. I want to hear all about the birthday party.

    BikerJan - Bummer about your knee hope you are able to enjoy some of the riding season. We have taken a couple of short rides so far. Looking forward to many miles of riding.

    Can you believe it? A WHOLE year??? How is that possible?

    For those of you 'old-timer' beach-walkers with photographic memories..... our little inky-dink is wearing the sundress that all of you Beachie Aunties gave her at the beachie-baby shower.

    The dress is a size 3 to 6 months size and fits her perfectly now that she's 12 months!

    Thanks to all for your beachie, fun birthday wishes. It's been a glorious day.
