    Oh Arnie, we got rain last night and more on the way by the look of the sky.  Thankfully we've had enough so there has hardly been reason to need to water here so far this summer.

    Sharon.....I slept but not so Long....as I had slept most of yesterday....I had pleasant DREAMS!!!!

    Good morning...the trouble with living on the West Coast is that we see the sun setting over the water, not the sunrise over the water..I miss that...when I was a girl, I spent the summers with my grandmother in her lake house..and the sun rose from the east over the lake, with diamonds on the water, it was beautiful..I miss her and I miss that place...

    Memories. The power of great stuff.

    With our skinny little peninsula, we can ride across 6 miles and watch the sunrise and walk the block to see it set. The best of both worlds.

    Da Uncle is flying out today.

    This is more company than we've ever hosted.
