I just blathered on about my latest good news, on FB and over at the dustbunnies.
Don't need to go on all over again.
Long story short, my new picture book is now thru the "proofing" stage and nearly ready to be printed..... YEARS in the making. I've been telling people for years that "it's almost ready" ..... meaning it every time I've said it. LOLOL.
Now it truly is 'almost ready.'
Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo thrilling to hold it in my hands and turn the pages 7938493894 times!!!!!

BTW: The Strides Against Breast Cancer site, seemed to have been gummed up there for several days. It seems to be working again. I was just notified of a lovely & generous donation from one of our BCO sisters named LaughingJoyfully.

We will walk on Sunday. I have 5 on my team officially, but perhaps a couple others will join us? I hope the weather cooperates. Today was gorgous!!!!!

Had another great day @ "school" today. I hadn't been to this site in probably about 3 years..... fun to see some dear old friends -- from back in the day when I launched my little company.
The administrators & several of the teachers remember my daughters from grade school days.
I stopped on the way over & got a few pictures developed from the wedding -- so it was fun to have "show & tell."
