Good afternoon everyone!  It has been snowing all morning here and it's finally tapered off.  Supposedly a wintry mix is still predicted for later this evening.  Is it time to head for Florida yet????

Lago, I think your wig looks very nice on you....and very natural.

Connie..I hope your daughter recovers quickly so she's ready for Christmas and that nobody else gets the "bug" in your family.

Oh Jackie, I'm glad that Denny wasn't hurt when he went in the ditch.  At least he told you about it.  I'm not sure I would have been told if that had happened at our house.  He would probably not want to hear me say, " I told you that you go too fast!"  LOL

Marina, it is so much fun and so rewarding to see our little ones learn new things.  Enjoy every minute of it, because as all mothers and grandmothers know, they grow up way too quickly!

Mandy, I hope you'll feeling better today. Those darn neulasta shots can really do some work on our bodies.  I was very fortunate in that I didn't experience any side effects from mine.

Kater, it sounds like you have your hands full with your animals.  Still, what would we do without them?  I am now feeding 2 outside cats that show up faithfully..........my one feral cat that I loved so much never did return........:-(  and I have the two inside black cats.  I would not part with the little black indoor cat I recently adopted from the shelter.  She is a terror but she's so cute and provifdes us with lots of entertainment.

Hugs to you Carolyn.  I hope you're having a good day today.

Susan, you amaze me.  You're always going to some really interesting place, doing such neat things with your grandchildren, and cooking such interesting foods.   I think you've settled quite well into basic retirement!  :-)

Hi to everyone!  I'm off to do more laundry.  It never seems to end around here!

I too like the wig on you Lago...lovely silky black hair....that looks pretty good to a woman who is 100% gray haired.

Carolyn, hope all is goin as planned and that you are enjoying your sister's family.  How they love you!

Rene, waiting to hear from you and prayers in progress.

Smerf, I ran into a friend from Glenview and her daughter is marrying a man from South Africa.  Isn't your son-in-law from South Africa?   We met at Von Maur (love that place) and I insisted we look at the mother of the bride dresses there as I got mine there. She like you is tall, thin and elegant.

Jackie, glad Denny is okay.  We have to watch our fellows!

Connie, you sound well.  Sorry about the DD but you have a few days for her to get better.  Such a doll she is!

I saw this article on dense breast on the thingy posted at the top.  I believe we had this discussion before.  I have dense breasts.  I never knew they were dense until I was told they were (reasonable).  I am quite happy I do have my mri annually.  I remember that the ultrasound tech or doctor was all agitated because he could not see the cancer that was there as the breast tissue was  so dense but they knew it was there because of the biopsy.  Long story short, if you still have your breasts and if you are not sure they are dense, ask if they are.

    Take care!

Zap, first of all I have plenty of gray hair just not so much right now. I've been dyeing since I was 40 so I'm quit sure how much. Second the wig is actually an dark auburn brown. Not sure if that color is showing up on your monitor. Sounds like you need to adjust the brightness ;-)

Hi all!  Its not so bad weather wise out today.  I'm wondering if anyone has had genetesting done for BRCA?  If so are you the first person in your family to get it done.  I am and have told my sister that she only needs to be tested for BRAC2 since I tested positive for that not 1.  My doctor and the lab told her the same thing.  But her doctor tells her no.  Has anyone come across this kind of stuff.  I hate for her to do both because its a very expensive test.  I know she scared outa her wits right now.  Im the second sister to have bc, plus it runs in the family. So she may just be trying to cover all areas so she can moniter herself even closer now.  Well Im off to do some last minute christmas sewing.  I decieded to do try sewing this year instead of baking.  So far so good.  Plus the clean up is so much better, lol.  Good night all  Paula

BRCA testing......Paula 66 yes she should be tested IMHO

Before I decided lumpectomy or masectomy (of both breasts)...my Mom got tested for BRCA and was negative. If she would have been positive we were advised we would have to contact her brothers so their families could be tested. (and I would have had more extensive surgery).

The 2nd test in family is not as expensive and also insurance many times pays for it. (I think because they know which gene to search for). Myriad...

We paid 1500 extra to have it done within 10 days so I could have my surgery scheduled. Medicare paid the rest for my Mom's.

    Kater

PS The eldest with cancer is tested I believe for something like 3000 then it's much cheaper for the next round. (my Mom had had ovarian cancer since 1998 and this was 2007. Her dr. never mentioned it and she didn't listen to me about having it done before that.) She had an oncologist that said very little.

My insurance covered the full range of genetic testing.  We knew about BRCA1  on the maternal side, but because I also had a paternal aunt with breast cancer (and didn't know her genetic status on that front) it was recommended that I get the full range of testing, and I was pleased that insurance covered the entire amount.   Now at least I know how to manage the health of my three daughters.

FYI -- everything genetically came back negative, but that put me in the same risk category as the average woman, and obviously didn't protect me from BC.  Because I'm premenopausal, my daughters will still need to be treated as high risk for BC; hopefully there will be a vaccine by then, my oldest is 13.

    stiffness and soreness

I forgot to mention the oncologist said, when i said my fingers hurt so bad sometimes (not sure if it's arimidex or thyroid, hashimoto joint thing, i also have thinning of hair now....found out through thyroid antibody test I had last year).....i was saying how when i play volleyball all week it's okay but if I don't PAIN! He said activity helps.

INFARED SAUNA  HELPS MANY OF HIS PATIENTS...(WENDY, DR. B. SAID)... i said when and how much, he said when you have pain, duh on my part. I bought that and a rhoadescar.com for my midlife crisis 50th. vs. a corvette...but i have not used it in months.......it's in the basement here. i got it from costco, put it together yourself.

also probably mentioned before i have no fluid in finger joints, one finger swollen badly (ring finger, no more wedding rings for ME!)........and my spine, from accident...there is no fluid in last two disks and there are two small tears evident in my MRI results.

Also, I just bought my annual arimidex supply, it's usually 2000 but he said generic is fine so it was only about 1000 this time. Two more years! (I buy from Canadadrugs.com)

My ovaries are out as well (would explain why I have had no qualms about no dating for two years!).

Hi Girls.....Just stopping by to say hi to all. Hope you all are inside watching this lovely wet snowfall. Driving is very bad out there as the roads are not salted. Done with shopping so let the wrapping begin. lol I just bought the most beautiful holiday piano music CD so it is on and the wrapping begins.

OMG!...is all I can say! I photographed volleyball teams today in Marango, IL. The shoot ended at 7:15. Went to our cars only to find out that 5" of snow had fallen while were inside shooting. It took me 2 hours to get home. I was alone, driving through country roads, no street lights, couldn't see more than 10' in front of my car. Couldn't even tell if I was driving in the correct lane. NO cars around me, no NOTHING! I was so freaked out. And the worst part...I didn't have my frickin' eye glasses with me. Everything was blurry...it was literally a white-out. dh and I have walkie-talkie cell phones. He talked me home. Every 10 minutes he checked in with me. He told me to keep my GPS on in case something happened to me he could find me. It was horrible. Snow was blowing everywhere. dh was waiting for me in the garage when I finally got home. He hugged me as I shook uncontrollably - literally my whole body was shaking. I hate driving at night In CLEAR WEATHER! Honestly, I have never been so freaked out in my life. Keep in mind, I drive a race car, 125 mph - 11 second quarter mile -  that's a spit in the wind compared to tonight! lol Oh well... hope you're all tucked in and comfy/cozy.

Just a quick check in to let everyone know that I do not have the results yet.  (argh!).  My b.s. called me this afternoon to apologize and tell me that he called the lab himself and was furious with them.  The pathologists had already left for the day and my specimen still wasn't done.  He assured me that he will be calling whoever's in charge first thing in the morning and getting "Irate Italian" on them. LOL!   So, I wait at least another day.

It helps that I'm ridiculously busy with work and trying to get my Christmas stuff all DONE and behind me.

Thanks for the concern.  It's much appreciated.

Laura - I was driving home after work and some shopping in this terrible weather too.  My poor little Camry has absolutely no traction at all!  But honestly, I kind of like the challenge of driving in the snow.  Nuts, right?   But I would never do the kind of race car driving that you do.  THAT would freak me out.

Iago -- I think you look awesome in your wig!   You also looked great in your scarf at the holiday get together.

I just moved up my head shaving date to one week after my first treatment.  Take the event under my control, and it's really only a few days ahead of when it would start falling out on its own.  Since I will be going to an office as many days as my health permits, I am hopeful that I find the wig reasonably comfortable.

I too slid home in the snow last night after bringing the twins for long overdue haircuts..... they were both trying to grow their hair long enough to do Locks for Love, but I think they need to be just a bit older, we couldn't quite get to the ten inches on their short little nine year old bodies.... we'll try again in two years, when they are bigger.

Still not completely done with shopping... going to be a busy week!  I am almost there.  Hope this finds everyone feeling good.

Paula I had the test for both BRCA genes… tested negative. Even though there is no, zero, history of breast cancer in my family my BS recommended I be tested once he was alerted that I am Ashkenazi Jewish (about 80% of all Jews are and even more in the US). Ashkenazi Jewish have a slightly higher risk of testing positive for the gene… must be all that in-breading ;-)

My insurance paid for the testing but wouldn't pay the $40 for the blood draw. Genetic counsler needs to change the coding but she says this is the code they always use. That reminds me I need to call to see if she had done that.

It was nice to call my parents and tell them they were off the hook. I didn't inherit breast cancer from their genes.

Once I tested negative there was no need for my sister or brother to be tested. If I had tested positive they would have been tested.

Thanks all for the wig/scarf compliments. You guys are my biggest fans.

Morning all!    Well, we got some snow for sure but the blower took care of it in record time!

Laura....Wow! You hade quite the trip last night!  Glad you are OK!  Niece left work at Zurich (right by Pompeii) and it took her over 2 hours to get home in South Elgin!

    Lago....wig looks great on you!

BJ....glad you are up and about!  My cold is the same weird kind I have had since chemo....one symptom per day.  Jeepers....I would rather have it all at the same time then like this!

Rene....well, still have fingers crossed for you!  Hope you get your answer today but I think you will ;)

Jackie...I too am glad that Denny is ok, but I have to ask...did you bite thru your tongue so you wouldn't say..."...told you so"!?!  And Maggie and that flashy red car!  You go Maggie...but no more crawling up hills!

Kater...I was always told to AVOID sauna/hot tubs to due to risk of LE!  Am I wrong?????

    Carolyn...thinking about you!

    Smerf...how's the thumb?

Sharon...so good to hear from you!  Do you have pics from swimming with the sharks???

Rita...heard from family in Fl all about the 70 degree days with sunshine.  Oh joy.  I really need to hide out in your suitcase!

Hope everyone else is doing well...with treatment, with colds, with sick kiddies etc.

Hey...forgot to ask...Laura knows about this...I read somewhere recently that the average woman uses 12 (YES....TWELVE) beauty products on a daily basis, not including hair products.  So I counted up my regime...THIRTEEN!!!!!  And then Laura said, "but you look so natural!"  Boy did Laura and I have a laugh over that one!  So girls...here you go...count up all your "stuff"...include lotions, potions and any and all makeup (if you use lipstick and gloss...that's TWO) but NO hair products...see where you fall!!

Have a wonderful day..be careful tho...looks "shiney" on the street so I guess some icing...

You are perfect. You are complete. Your inner voice always knows what to do, but it is a quiet voice. You can only hear the whisperings of your inner voice - your inner compass - when you turn down the volume of your fears, your regrets, your resentments, and the fear-based advice your neighbors are so willing to give you.

Wendy --- tongue ?  what tongue ?  tis' a mere shell of its former self.  I gave him the super raised eyebrow look and hoped he understood that I was saying  ----- how many years have I been tellin' ya now.!!!!  I really only think he told me because he was so SHOCKED himself.  Brings up another of my favorite quotes which I know you all have been heeding...Better be safe ( take it slow and easy ) than sorry.

Laura -- you are stronger than you think --- but it is scary.  Glad you made it home ok.

Maggie is cute in the her big red car.  She generally will not go out unless her make-up is just so and a lot of people won't ride with her because she drives too fast.  What a scream.

Oops.....I only use two make-up products a day and even that not consistently.  Oh well ---- saves me a lot of time I guess.

Gotta run to House of Hope.....going to be late today.  I'll be checking in afterwards.

    Hugs, Jackie

Hi girls - I just spoke with Carolyn's sister, Diane. Carolyn is back at RUSH...for those of you who are not on our e-mail list - here's a copy of an e-mail Diane just sent out (PM me for Carolyn's address and if you want to be added to our private e-mail list, let me know):

    -----------------------------------

    Hi All -

I just wanted to send this update to all of you.  Please pass it along if you notice that I've missed anyone.

Last night Carolyn was admitted to RUSH via the ER.  She was so nauseated that she couldn't keep anything down - including her meds.  Most of you already know that about 2 weeks ago we discovered that the breast cancer had spread to her brain.  There it is in 2 places - one tumor in the left lobe and one in the right.  Since it's in both lobes it is currently considered inoperable.  However, she has been undergoing Radiation treatment at RUSH every day to shrink them.  We pray that the tumors are being shrunk per the plan, but the flip side is that there are definatly side effects.  She is now receiving her steriods, which is supposed to assist in shrinking the tumors and anti-convulsants thru her IV and she doesn't have to take any meds orally.  Clearly, they have also given her meds to quell her discomfort and hope to start her on a clear liquid diet this morning.

The other update which we have known for a few days now is that when they did the full body scan the last time she was at RUSH, they discovered that there are also areas of metasticized cancer (mets) in her lungs.  These mets are currently not causing Carolyn any symptoms, so we are moving forward on the plan to shrink the brain tumors first, then follow up with chemo to get the rest of it out of her.  The "good" news is that the steriod treatments she has been receiving for her brain should also have a positive effect on either starting to shrink or at least stop the growth of the lung tumors.

I'm sorry to pass on all of this, but I take it as a sign for us to really appreciate the gifts of the people in our lives.  We often forget to stop and appreciate the little things and with Christmas upon us, I hope you take the time to really enjoy and relish those who are most important in your life and appreciate the gifts God has bestowed upon us, not only through his son but with each other.

I have no idea when Carolyn will be returning home.  There is a part of me that hopes she can remain at RUSH until her radiation treatments are completed on Tuesday, but I say that with a heavy heart knowing that Christmas is upon us and would hate for her to be an in-patient for Christmas.  So for now, I am trying to leave all of that in God's hands and pray that the right decisions are made to keep Carolyn healthy and comfortable.

Thank you to everyone for their prayers, help, cards, flowers, carpooling, dinners, babysitting and the like.  Without such generous friends and family I don't know where we would be.  We will continue to be in touch when we need and appreciate knowing that we have such great people in our lives who are willing to help us.

Carolyn is in room 1128 and can be reached at 312-942-5000.  We have had her mail forwarded here for the time being, as well, so if you inadvertantly send her something to her old address it will come to my house either way.

I know that many of you who live far away are asking what you can do to help.  My best suggestion is to try to remember to keep sending cards.  She loves to get mail and email is hard for her right now.  Have your kids draw a picture, send a photo or just drop a quick note.  We are going to set up a bulletin board in her room for all of these notes.  Sometimes it's hard for me to constantly be a cheerleader, so your help in keeping her spirits high and positive going are much appreciated.

I think that covers all of it.  If anyone wants to call her or visit, just let me know.  I'd be happy for you to come to the house.

God bless and may this Christmas find you and yours happy and healthy -

    Dy

Our oncologist Dr. B said many patients feel relief from their pains related to Arimidex and so forth. Dec. 2010

    INFRARED SAUNA

DO not USE IF....  (LYMPHEDEMA ALREADY)
    Currently have:
    Diabetes
    > also use insulin subcutaneous injections
    > also have neuropathy
    Neuropathy

Acute or chronic edema or lymphedema (swelling of the wrists, ankles, etc.)
Cholinergic urticaria, acantholytic dermatosis, malaria, severe burns/scarring/heat rash
Am attempting to conceive (male or female)
    Systemic lupus erythematosus
Take street/recreational drugs (please circle either past or present) [eg. amphetamines, heroin, cocaine]
Take medications which may predispose me to heat illnesses when exposed to heat [eg. sympathomimetics, anticholinergics, tricyclic antidepressants, antihistamines, phenothiazines]
Take medication that may reduce perspiration ability [eg. diuretics, barbiturates, ß-blockers]

Read the following carefully before starting an Infrared Sauna session.

    THE DO'S..................................

Please remember that infrared heat is simply radiant energy in the form of a band of light that radiates heat penetrating the skin to a depth of 1½ inches or more. This radiant heat is efficient because it warms the body internally, not the air. To regulate the temperature of the infrared sauna during use, open the door for cooling.
For optimal results, refrain from using the sauna on a full stomach.
It is important to remain hydrated. For best results, drink water prior, during and after your sauna session.
Do not apply excess body lotion to your body prior to a sauna session.
    Use at least 3 towels:
    > sit on one folded towel for perspiration absorption and cushioning
    > use another towel on the floor to absorb extra sweat
    > use a third towel to wipe off your body surface sweat
At the first sign of a cold or flu, increasing sauna sessions may be beneficial in boosting the immune system and decreasing the reproductive rate of viruses and bacteria.
As your body becomes more heat conditioned, you may want to have the sauna session increased to 45 minutes or longer. Please remember to hydrate your system with plenty of water during the full session.

Note: Many people with heavy metal, chemical or pesticide toxicity levels may find it difficult to sweat initially, for some individuals it may require 5-10 sessions before measurable sweat volume is evident, but continuous water intake will enhance detoxification. Even without measurable sweat, the infrared sauna is helping to eliminate toxins through urine, bowels and hair.

To treat your ankles and feet more effectively, elevate them while in the sauna. Any area you wish to achieve a specific deep heating effect should be placed as close to the infrared emitters as feels comfortable.

Laura...thank you for the update from Carolyn's sister. She has been through a lot these past few weeks- so sending cards to her will help cheer her up. I tried to call but no answer. Will try later.

Back to wrapping and cleaning and listening to holiday music.

Have a wonderful fun filled snowy day. It is a good day for snow angles!!

LauraGTO... Thanks so very much for passing on Carolyn's update from her sister, Dy.  Carolyn is going through sooo much right now.  I can hardly stop thinking about her now.  Will certainly send her a card and include her in our prayers.

Sounds like alot of fun out there on the roads lately, girls.  I was supposed to go to a little holiday luncheon this morning with my tennis group but decided to pass for now.  Our driveway has not been plowed yet and I just wanted to stay home with my sick DH.  We were supposed to be on our way back to Seattle yesterday to spend the holidays with our daughter and family.  Instead, I had to take him to the doctor to make sure he doesn't have strep or whatever.  He has had a terrible cold, sore throat, fever, chills, etc.  Guess it is going around.  So, we have decided to stay home and keep our nasty germs to ourselves.

Lago.. you look marvelous in your wig.  I'm wearing mine now a little more just to keep my head warm.  Darn it though.... it gives me hat hair now that I actually have a nice cover growing.

Laura... I know those roads you were probably on last night.  They can be scary at night any time of year.  Too narrow and too many deer.

Wendy... I counted up 9 products.  Guess that makes me BELOW average???

Rene... hope that you get your results today.  Good luck.

We are having another "giftless" Christmas this year.  Our kids insist on it.  So we only shop for our granddaughter and unfortunately, her gifts are not going to make it to Seattle in time for Christmas this year... we are going to try to make it out there next week though as her birthday is on January 3rd so we will celebrate both.

(((Hugs))) to everyone, especially Carolyn and everyone else going through treatments.

these probably are infrared places but food for thought:

    How does it work?

It uses ceramic heaters which naturally penetrate your body very efficiently. It penetrates two inches deep and triggers your sweat glands to start functioning before your core body temperature goes up . The impact is that you are able to perspire for longer at a lower temperature.

What is the Far Infrared part?

The Far Infrared refers to the band of the light spectrum where ceramic vibrates. Infrared means " Below Red" or just under the visible light part of the spectrum. Far means its at the far end of the infrared spectrum. Thus it is a technical name assigned to the function of the emitters. The ceramic heaters operate the same as glass or sand which has high silica content. These reflect Far Infrared waves from the sun naturally, like heat coming through a cool area such as a window when it is freezing. If you were to place an ice cube on a ceramic plate and another on a plastic plate, the one on the ceramic plate would melt in seconds while the one on the plastic plate would take 20 minutes. It is because water receives at the far infrared wavelength. When it is absorbing room temperature very quickly on the F-I-R waves vibrating from the ceramic. Our bodies being mostly water absorb on the far infrared wavelength. When the ceramic emitters are heated the sauna warms up and our bodies absorb the heat very quickly and we perspire very efficiently.

How is an Infrared Sauna different from a Regular Sauna and why is it Better ?

The high heat saunas use 7000-10,000 watts and shock the cardiovascular system. This was long thought to be good to strengthen the arteries (when used in conjunction with cold water at intervals). Most people can't go in a high heat sauna for more than ten minutes. It's not enough time to sweat significantly. In a high heat sauna the heart is shocked, the skin can go pink due to the fast circulation to the extremities, blood can pool in the ankles, and it is so hot in the lungs that many people complain of a "claustrophobic" feeling, or need to flee. This is why a traditional sauna is not recommended for those that have a heart condition or are asthmatic.

The Far Infrared sauna is such low, soft and comfortable heat that virtually no one is sensitive to it. You can set the temperature as low as 35 C, and leave the window open to ensure cool air in your lungs, but still get warm enough to break a sweat. The Infrared Sauna uses a low wattage heater usually 1500 watts. Far Infrared Sauna penetrates the body's surface with Infrared energy by about 2 inches deep. It allows you to perspire and detoxify at a lower more comfortable environmental temperature thus raising the body's core temperature gently allowing detoxification of the environmental pollutants. Thus people who may have health conditions such as heart conditions and asthmatics , in which high heat is contraindicated can safely experience the benefits. The comfortable temperature also allows you to remain in the Infrared Sauna longer allowing for deeper detoxification.

The Infrared Sauna at Optihealth is the SaunaRay, it's heaters are 160 watts each - the lower they are, the longer they stay in the critical range of 4-14 microns. A micron is tiny unit of measurement, in this case measuring the distance between the crest and the trough of a wave - or the "wavelength".). The low wattage means the ceramic stays vibrating in the critical far infrared wavelength. The heat is absorbed by the outer two inches of your body. Your sweat glands are triggered to start working BEFORE THE CORE BODY TEMPERATURE GOES UP. This means you're sweating before you feel hot.

    Is it safe?

Very safe. It does not emit dangerous waves like Ultra Violet or Micro waves. Those are on the opposite side of the spectrum. Infra-Red simply means "Below Red" or "invisible" when practically applied to the description. When Campfire embers glow, they glow red, the rocks next to them are hot, but not red. Those are "Infra Red". It's a natural process, you're just heating ceramic and letting the heat absorb into your skin. The heaters are protected by a ceramic coated caging that is child-safe to touch. Even when the heaters have been on for 12 hours!

and lastly... google infrared sauna lymphedema to get these...

Why is sweating good for you?

Toxins we accumulate from everyday life are stored in our fat cells. Whatever your body can't easily eliminate via the liver or the kidneys, it sends off to the fat cells for future elimination via sweat. But since we live sedentary lives and live in a cold climate and spend our summers in air conditioned rooms, we just don't sweat enough. And since we live in a time of unprecedented chemical exposure, from air, water, and food, we need to assist our toxic elimination via sweating. It's been proven in studies at the Mayo Clinic. SaunaRay has a doctor from Harvard Medical School working with it, as well as several doctors in the Toronto area who us it in their practices. The proof is with the hardest cases, like American soldiers exposed to Agent Orange who removed 97% of dioxins from their bodies by sweating for 6 weeks. That's after carrying it for 20 years!

What are the health conditions that the Far Infrared Sauna has been proven to benefit?

Some examples of the health conditions that it can benefit include:
Heart Disease: Weight Loss: Studies reported in the Journal of American Medical Association shows that 30 minutes of continuous sweating in a sauna will burn 300-600 calories, similar to rowing or running for the same duration of time. • Asthma:

    Fibromyalgia (Chronic Pain disorder):

Psoriasis and other skin disorders: maybe this will help my ears which keep acting up.

Arthritis: The heaters in the corners deeply penetrate major joints and aid in soft tissue repair. The energy from the heat helps to break up Lactic Acid which can gather and cause muscle cramping. The soft tissue, and Connective Tissue which concerns arthritics, is made more supple and pliable and less brittle and tight.

Cancer: There are practitioners using SaunaRay for Breast Cancer treatment but this is in conjunction with many other therapies, sometimes even with chemo therapy and surgery. So it is not to be considered as a cure for Cancer....However... Every doctor who has studied the material on Far Infrared Sauna states unequivocally that regular sessions will expunge toxins known to cause cancer. Including Lead, Mercury, plastics and pthalates, dioxin, fibrocystic breasts pesticides, and heavy metals. Dr. Sat Dharam Kaur , ND author of The Complete Natural Medicine Guide to Breast Cancer, supports the use of infrared sauna preventively for breast cancer and suggests that they need to become a regular part of our lifestyle to protect ourselves and our children from breast cancer.

Fertility : Before conceiving it is recommended that both partners do a full series of 10 sessions to fully detoxify. It is recommended to begin 3 months before you conceive as toxins continue to be released for several months after the therapy is completed.

    • Other Health Conditions such as: Hormonal Imbalances, PMS, Neurological Ailments, ADD, Infertility, Autoimmune Diseases , Environmental Illness and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, related to chemical toxicity and carcinogenic substances have been documented to improve from FIRS

At the Optihealth centre we have seen those with positive indican bowl test ( showing the bowls are not functioning well to digest and hence toxic byproducts being present ) clearup within a 10 session treatment program. These are often in children who experience behaviour concerns such as ADD, Autism and Pervasive Development Disorder.

We have also seen clear up in a 10 session treatment plan. Fibrocystic breast disease is a potential risk factor to breast cancer.

ok thanks girls, after i feed the dogs and send a couple more christmas cards, I'm turning it on!    you can make these, plans are on the net, i paid 800 delivered for one from costco and my uncle's caregiver put it together for me.
