Makmak.....Celebrate, celebrate.... dance to the music.Cool  I bet Lago can find a YouTube video for you!

It's been crazy around here with kids still visiting but I am trying to read along.  Welcome to Maryj and good luck to you this week with your lumpectomy and SNB.  Will be praying also for WendyTy.

Loving this weather today.  I am tempted to move my office outdoors on the deck, but can never trust that the neighbors won't start up their mowers and blowers, etc.  Take time to get outdoors and soak in some Vitamin D everyone.  Supposed to be good for you!

Thanks everyone!!  This has been greatly weighing on me for the last three weeks.. however, I was very calm in that MRI machine.. and my Onc called within an hour of the test.. So I guess all is well that ends well.. My head is a mess right now.. but at least I can now ignore it without having to have 'those thoughts' going through my mind.. and can deal with Gab's new cold!! Yes, she had a dry nose for all of TWO days!!!

Finished the "Paris Wife" already.. took me less than a week as I really loved the book.. Bought another based on Irene's recommendation to Susan on FB.. as much as I resisted the Kindle, I do like being able to just instantly get the book...

AND... the best news is that I'm back to thinking about my next Vacation instead of freaking out!!!

Welcome to all the new people that have come here since my little freak-out episode with my head!! The women here are amazing and have helped me through so much already!! Glad you found us!!

MakMaK Just checking in here. Awesome news. happy dance.

Adey here today gone tomorrow. More details? Do the Ska ^

    WendyTY ♥ ♥ ♥

It's been quite a day. Saw onc, got herceptin and that took about 4.5+ hours including commute (and you know I live close). Came home ate lunch, spoke with mom then off to PS. Just got back!

Don't need to see onc for 9 months (actually NP), 6 months after next BS appointment. I guess that means after this next BS appointment I'm officially on 1time per year with each of them. Yay.

So this weekend I felt this odd lump. I wasn't too worried but it was in the area where my tumor was so I though I would mention it. Onc said it was movable and too soft to be fat necrosis. I said my PS was just in there on the 24th so I'm thinking it was something he did. She said if he didn't know what it was then I need to set up an appointment with BS. Now I wasn't freaked out but that did up my concern a little. Anyway PS said it was some of the fat transfer so no worries. I must admit I was thinking Oh great now they are going to have to do radiation. Whew that's over.

I might get off restrictions in 2 weeks. I'll find out when I see PS in 2 weeks. I'm happy about that.

Hi ladies - Haven't checked in for awhile.  Things are fine with me.  Just busy with summer.

Just want to post thoughts and prayers for WendyTY!  Keep fighting!   Many hugs going out to you.

Marina - soooooo happy you got the good results back on the MRI.   Must be a huge relief.

Hi to the new girls!  Someone mentioned ISU - that is where I went to college.  I really loved it there.

Had a nice 4th on the lake.  Heading back tomorrow.

Mak Mak -- Awesome news, you must be so relieved.  Go celebrate!

I'll be thinking only positive thoughts for WendyTY.

Not much new here,, found a play for two of my children to be in..... community theater so it's FREE!  I like that.  And getting ready for our annual Door County vacation with my in-laws, in about a week. The preparation is always frenzied, but the vacation is always very relaxing.

WendyTY - Healing vibes and heartfelt wishes being sent your way. We are all pulling for you.

Marina - SO glad to hear your good news.  And glad you enjoyed The Paris Wife.  I couldn't really relate to Hadley, but the writing was so good that I was able to understand and admire her.  What other book did you get?

Lisa - It sounds like we will be missing each other in Door County by about a week.  We are going to meet my in-laws up there in about 2.5 weeks. They go all the time, but we haven't been there in about 10 years.

Jackie - Loved that quote you posted for WendyTY.

    Rita....still boating and fishing?

Connie...glad you are doing well and had a great 4th!

    Everyone else....waving at you all!

Good morning everyone.  I found so many good quotes this morning.....but every time I re-read this one ( kept being drawn to it )  I felt it to be so true.  When I look back at my life some of the most difficult periods ( negative times ) taught me so much -- expanded on abilities that were only just barely there and gave me parameters to use -- sometimes years later as it turns out.  I think as well it has taught me that love is the REAL only answer but how astounding that something so pleasant, so wonderful, so necessary to so many, in so many different ways can be extremely difficult.

Hi to Connie.......I think you and Bj should collaborate on a ( "Wonderful Summers Spent On The Lake" ) book. Water is so life-giving in so many ways, but then you wouldn't have time to get and enjoy all that benefit if you were busy writing a book huh !!!!  Missed you anyway.

Hi to everyone else too.  I truly look forward to seeing you all here everyday.  Hope you all have a beauty of a day.

    Hugs, Jackie

Glad you found us, Corinne.  We do have a Connie on here, too.  She's a pretty good gal, too!  She hadn't posted in several weeks because she's always so busy enjoying life now with her kids and working at her job. I think that is who both Wendy and Jackie were referring to in their posts. It is so good to have both of you here and we're glad that you're planning on coming back often.

Alex and I are heading out to a movie and then to the swimming pool.  We're all going fishing on the pontoon this evening and eating chicken with the fixings on the boat.  I am having SO much fun with my grandson.  They days are flying by.

Corinne....we want you to always be here, and we want to be here fo you.......I think maybe I should have said before conniehar.

How have you been doing Corrinne?  By the way, I love your name.  It starts with the 3rd. letter of the alphabet and three is a very spiritual number.  I have given myself away now for sure.  Anyway, see all you lovely ladies later.  I'm off to do some work.

    Hugs, Jackie
