I'm not a newbie to BC, but am a newbie to bc.org.  Been checking out the forums and was most intrigued by the title to this one!!  I'm five years out from my first BC DX, and one year out from my second BC DX.  Since my BMX and reconstruction, I've been having pain (on my radiated side) that, I think, are related to scar tissue adhesions.  Between the BC DXs, family history, etc, etc., it's very hard to NOT dwell on recurrence. And I do like my Red Hook ESB and a good CabSav wine.  Very nice to meet all of you!

Karen, I will pray that you find the right meds for your depression as I really miss you telling me "sweet dreams"! Oh, that was about me, bad Dork. Seriously, I can relate as I have struggled for years with many issues and my world fell apart after BC took my bff, Zac, away. Zac was my favorite anti-depressant aka prozac. Being ER+ and taking tamox caused a loss in addiction to having my girls hacked off.  BC takes so much from us all.  I still miss Zac and am also working on finding the right meds. 

Kitty, hoping that tittty stays unshitty. Please keep us posted, so happy that you kicked the red out! And who here said that they felt sorry for the color red?? That was funny and now I forget who said it.

Scuba, I switched my Monday appt to Thurs so will be in the city on both Wed. and Thurs. If you wanna meet me at Jeff PS, let me know. Just went to see Luisa Maita at a small jazz club. Had a nice Pinot Noir for dinner. Got home from work at 2AM this morning so  zzzzzzzzzzzz.. Good night everyone.

I will post more, it took me quite some time to get this one up. I am just uploading my photos and have soooooo many more, I am still having trouble managing my pics but will figure it out. And Chrissy's photo's came out so beautiful, I am not quite a photographer. We had a glorious day. It was surreal seeing NYC. I got emotional looking at the "empty sky memorial" as the names are being added for the unveiling on 09/10/11.

Morning Lougettes!

Today is a very sad day. I must release my pycho-therapist/breast friend forever, the beautiful Chrissy B, to her friend Amy Jo in NC. Funny thing, while my net was down, her friend accidently PM'd me as Chrissy had used my log on to write to Mary Jo. Turns out that I may end up meeting her in the near future as she comes up to NY often and also goes to Myrtle Beach twice a year. I will be going back to see my parents asap and she can meet me there, or she can stop here on her way to NYC.  

Chrissy and I had such a beautiful time in NYC. She was smiling so big when we reached the skyline, sorta reminded me of a kid in a candy store!  The funny thing is when we docked at Ellis Island, someone nearby asked about the history of Ellis Island. I was going to explain that back in the day, folks would come from Foreign countries and land there. But Chrissy begins to explain its history, including the years that immigration no longer required entry to the USA via the island etc etc. She knows SO much more than I do about my own country!

NM, I am happily drinking some reconcilers, yumm yumm yum! Great DOTD, Kim. You rocked the lounge yet again with your awesome posts.  And yes, you got the job that works for you and isn't life SO much better when you enjoy what you do and get love from those you help? I am still so happy for the newer job, you made such a brave move. And yippeeeeeee for Vegas. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas...ha, same applies here at the lounge!!

So darn it, I awaken today to again attempt to upload photos to photo bucket and my internet is AGAIN down. Can not believe this crap. I messed up in loading the pics, Chrissy gave me great lessons and I am still slow with it but geez, another day without the net?? Don't "they" know that you gals are my life line????? Fudgeavanilla!!!! 

Well I am going to move on and try to catch up on some other things while I have a two bar connection (thanks again neighbor!!!).

Karen my heart hurts for you I wish there was something I could do for you to help you through your depression. I guess saying just try to live in the moment seems pretty silly but its what I have tried to do throughout most of my treatments.

NM I am so jelous you are going to Vegas I LOOOOOVVVEEEEEE Vegas will definelty plan a trip there again in the next year.

Hey girls,

Well my dear Chrissy is off to the airport. It was so hard to part with her. I ended up having to drive and due to me lacking any sense of direction, went right pass the exit for the airport. My lil gypsy (gps) saved the day. We were using directions from DH who is a "pro driver" and knows the roads much better than I do.  She should be up in the air now and will message me when she arrives.

I will be packing up and leaving with DH for a night at Atlantic City so I haven't much time and am jolly excited to get to the beach!  (I am now speaking Aussie, prolly misused the word lol)!  I just love Chrissy and her beautiful accent. She is one fine woman, can't say it enough. 

You girls are funny today, I had lots of laughs...wish I had more time to comment but have to get my ass packed. 

Will be online once we check into the hotel. Cheers girls! And happy fried-dey!
