Hi Maria, The host was a "travel" guy from PBS TV, can't remember his name. He was interviewing a woman who sounded Spanish. She was explaining about the history of Malta, particularly relating to art and architecture. She talked about the peloponnisians  and the carthinians and said there is a Caravaggio (sp?) piece there as he lived there for a while. Oh dear, I hope I have spelled things close enough that you recognize the names! They both agreed a tourist should fly in to England, work their way south through Europe and Italy, cross over to Malta, then fly back to England before returning to the US. He said instead of thinking of Malta as being in the middle of nowhere, we should think of Malta as being in the center of everything. It was a great piece.
