Mrs. Vino....used to love oj with vodka in my college days...that is many, many moons ago...don't even drink plain oj anymore....Enjoyed a glass (or 2 or 3) of cabernet.....Nice wealk after dinner tonight....its really, really cold out tonight....single digits, but was dressed warm.....went with DH and dog....now watching Monday night line up.....

The lounge seems awfully quiet tonight....finishing up my bottle of cabernet....ready to do nothing.....not that I have done anything since I went for a walk after dinner....need to make my lunch for tomorrow....I have a class after work tomorrow from 4:15 - 6:15....I missesd the first class last week, so need to make sure I make the next 5...its only once/month so shouldn't be too bad, but the days I have class, its an 11 hour/day.....

I was trying really hard to put a photo from photobucket of one of the dancers at my DD's recital. Ya see, I bwough him home with me because I thought it would be funny to bring him to the lounge. And this is why. Right before my DD's dance, I moved to the front of the auditorium and sat on the floor of the first row so that I could get good photos. Seating was all blocked and the DJ and crew were right next to me, again, on the floor. The  dancers all enter from both sides and the lights are out. THe lights come on and what do I see? Irish dancers standing in a line, and right smack in front of my face is aa young man in a kilt.  I was afraid to look up. I thought of Mr Big and froze, no chit! It took me a moment to gain composure to snap a photo of him. I am bumming cuz I can't figure out how to post it. The photoi got came out blurry but it showed the guy dancing and is so funny. His legs jumped higher than the girls. I will have to figure it out, I am frustrated.  The dance was beautiful. It made me feel better. After the recital, I went to DD's apartment and hung out with her, my ex and of course grand puppy Lana. DD's apartment is sooo nice. She has a view of the Philly skyline from the 12th floor. I am proud of how pretty she made her place.

I have spent so much time on the phone. One of my friends, who was a direct neighbor to my aunt and uncle for many years growing up, called me tonight to talk as she was so upset. They were neighbors for 20+ years and were very good friends with my aunt and uncle. It has been hard. I can not begin to imagine losing an immediate family member.

My exchange is two weeks away, I had a fill today and I feel like I am going to explode. I tried to nap when I got home but was feeling so uncomfortable. I am bummed out that the doctor said I am still at a high risk and it would be preferable to move the date out. But I have to go for it as I cannot afford another 10k out of pocket. The suckity thing is that I thought the risk would be much lower since I had the flap vs alloderm. I am not swapping out the left implant for larger, he is just going to correct the area where I have ugly folds and do some fat harvesting on both sides.  Ironically, I had my first exchange on 12/28 of last year and I was returning to work on 12/6 after having the TE's put in last November. So this will be breast surgery #10 for me. Half of them were minor, the bebridement, removal of TE, removal of implant and the two re-excisions to try to save the implant but put together, I am still in too much pain. My arm still hurts and my legs still hurt. I am SO tired of hurting. I have not yet finished unpacking and have been home for six days. I have so many appointments between PT, onc, PS, blood draw and my telephone phyco therapy. It is too much. I was considering returning to work tomorrow but do not have it in me. I was going to beg my surgeon to release me early but I got thinking about last December when I was slammed at work with quick closings, working OT and did not get paid much commission because I was only back for three weeks. It was stressful. I am not ready for that. I feel guilty of complaining as I know that I am blessed with a great prognosis. I read about the girls here still suffering from chemo which I escaped. I think I would rather get cut then have chemo and rads. But enough already about me, now you can all tell me what YOU think of me lol. Bernie's joke reminding me of that line.  Thank you for hearing my rant. Now time to parTAY.I jest popped a fukitol, I am going to get my glasses on and read back and try to comment. One thing I need to comment on is our dear loungette Bernie. I am loving the jokes. I tried to tell the schnauzer joke but as usual, messed it up.

So back to de parTAY I go. Will ketchup, meze not allouwed to go to bed til I do. Gosh, I have so much more to say about YOU girls but will hit submit. ready , set , GO.

Karen, sorry I had not anwered your questions. I think I covered them in one of my novels this evening. I hope you are able to find a therapist that can help you. Don't feel guilty dumping a doctor that does not understand you. Always go with your instinct.  And agree with the other gals, you should get the thyroid checked. 

Scuby dooby dooo, where are ewe, we gotz some dwinking to do-ew-eww. I hate your end of year. It is keeping you away from de lounge. De tenders miss you too. Me told dem you wuz and is okay. Glad you pooped in for a minute. I had to eat me lunch at our faborite hot spot in your city by my dernself. Food was yummy as always but the chair next to me was .... empty. When do you leave for Maine?

NM, I know you are not here but I think of you daily and miss you so much. Your surgery must have been tough for you to be gone well over a week. Lemme hop into the HTL chapel and say a prayer for your healing. Dear God, I wish NM was here to help with my prayer. But she is recovering from a nasty surgery. Please do all you can to make her feel better and heal quickly. Lori and the other loungettes has been helping with the DOTD but no one can brighten my mornings quite the same as you do. I ask God to bring you back to us, feeling good and feeling happy. And make that soon. Barmen. 

Kathy, how are your folks making out at home? I would guess that it will take them a few days if not longer to adjust from all that traveling. They are amazing. Sending prayers to you and your family. Your Dad's 95th is coming soon, yes? Unbelievable but so awesome. I miss you a lot and feel bad for being MIA. 

Kymn, was great to see you but sorry me only seen your hiney stumble out. Darn, me mist ewe by just minutes. I had your pink bar stool cleaned for you. Seems some dirty hiney has been sitting on it. I hope you are doing that chant for me. Stand guard girl. Make me pwouder. As if....love you.

Bernie, your posts are awesome. I hope you do not mind being compared to our dear Junie but goodness, you are so much fun to have around. I pray for you and hope your pain leaves. I feel bad for you gals dealing with the after effects of the treatments. I am fortunate that I only take tamox. Other than hot flashes, a fat belly and occasional leg cramps, it is painless. You are such a trooper and have been a delight since the minute you popped in. I hope you are staying on your bar stool and not falling. Maybe we can order some fancy big girl high chairs with little belts to hold us in. We are a pair when it comes to needing them. I sincerely hope you are feeling well. Uh, I asked for a photo of the new teeth and am still waiting. I did love all the teefer pics you posted. 

BEaniE!! I saw you in de lounge tonight but you did not talk to me. I felt your love though. Were are you hanging out dese days? I miss you at de lounge but was so happy to see you and bullwinkle pop in. I always love your cartoons and pics. I had de tenders put a wabbit hole cover on de wabbit hole so you can't get in. Shannon, cracked up when you wrote about the email from Domino's about Cheesy bread. Funny, I have that same email too. And that same obsession with breasts. Hmm, wonder why. I do not like the name Undy. It reminds me of under garments. I hate bras. Another hmmmm moment. Do you like being called Undie? When Lori first called me Dork, she was using the first three letters of my first name and of course K from my last name (duh Dork). She wrote she was sawy, which is in violation of HTL Statue 12:6abcddd which sez "sawries not allowed in de HTL". Me propose a motion to change dat to "no sawries unless we sez we are sawire FOR another, not cuz we are sorry to bitch, whine, dwink etc" Dat is propossaw 12:6aBcDcup. As Valentine's was approaching, Charlie decided to buy a special gift for his new girlfriend, Ruth. The couple had not been dating for very long, and so Charlie wanted to make sure the gift was just right. Ruth was always complaining about having cold hands, and so Charlie - after careful consideration - decided a good gift would be a nice pair of gloves.
Charlie took his sister with him to buy the gift - he wanted a woman's opinion. They found a nice pair of gloves at the store, and Charlie's sister purchased a pair of panties at the same time. Unfortunately, the sales clerk got the two items mixed up.
Charlie mailed his Valentine's Day gift to Ruth, accompanied by the following note:
I chose this Valentine's Day gift as I noticed that you often don't wear any when we go out in the evenings. If it had not been for my sister, I would have chosen the ones with buttons, but she prefers short ones that are much easier to remove.
These are a lovely colour. The lady at the store where I bought them showed me the pair she had been wearing for the past three weeks, and they were hardly soiled at all. I had her try yours on for me and they looked quite lovely.
I wish I was there to put them on you for the first time; no doubt, other hands will come into contact with them before I have a chance to see you again. When you take them off, remember to blow on them lightly before putting them away as they will naturally be a little damp from wearing.
Just think how many times I'll be kissing them in the future. I hope you'll wear them Friday night for me.
