how about drinking?

Good morning, Loungettes! Chilly and damp here in Maine. The clothes on the line are going to need to be washed again at some point when it's going to stop raining. Oh, well. They're getting an extra rinse and putting them through another round with a little bleach won't hurt anything at all!

Goldie-That punch looks GREAT! Almost too pretty to drink! I like the idea of mixing it up a gallon at a time, no messing around for us loungettes! Enjoy your trip and the good Mammo report! I posted the incident because I know you ladies here can appreciate the humor and the horror and help me laugh it off. There aren't many people I can tell that story to and It's just too funny to pass up.

DorK-Junie CAN"T steal dwinkies from the lounge, she just goes to the Heaven Annex and dwinks with the other angels and laffs at us foolish loungettes talking about her!

Karen-I would love to exchange cards with you and every one else on the thread. I'm willing to compile a list of addresses via PM and share them that way. I know most of us are appropriately leery of posting addresses in the "open" part of the forum.

Bernie-I've heard of the dangers of ice, have simply got to stop ingesting it!

Well, recovery continues. Today I actually have to leave the house-going to pick up a prescription refill and have appointment #2 with counselor. Got a bunch of questions for her, hope I give her enough time to actually answer them! It will go as it should go, I'm sure.

Princess Glitter Sizzle says to the Tenders and Wenches to mix up a keg or two of Reindeer Antler!

Yummmmmm Lori, Gonna grab a BIG glass of Reindeer Antlers! Travel safely tomorrow! We'll be traveling too....thank gawd it is not today as I think they are predicting a wintry mix??? I dunno, just got up and need to catch the news. Only thing about the tern "pocket party", and really, my mind is not in da guttah, just heard this term years ago....something a guy would maybe do if by himself....have a "pocket party"???? So unfortunately, that is what comes to mind when I hear that term! LOL. Ok yeah, now I ruined it for ebberyone else....no one can hear that term without that image! LOL. Can't say the "s" word, but ya know I am!
Funny pics everyone!
I don't usually get down around the holidays, but this year might be the exception. Just keep thinking about Junie not being with us, and my friend Zula, too. Both of them LOVED going to Tunica, and they were the only friends I gambled with, there. They both were older than me, and both passed in the same month. Guess when we go there tomorrow, they will both be in my mind, and I will miss them even more. Don't worry if I don't post for a bit, just gotta get outta this funk. Love you all and love ALL your posts!!! You are all awesome!
I'll try to get in a partay mood for DH's b'day weekend....thanks for the wishes for him!
Hugssssssssss,
Kathy

Today is the 70th anniversary of the day the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. Very big events prolly going on in Hawaii today. As a school kid we always observed this solemn day and made fresh plumeria leis that went on the servicemen's graves. Usually we would travel to HI around this date, to spend my DH's and dad's birthdays together.....used to see a lot of old veterans on the plane, but a couple of yrs ago did not see any....their numbers are dwindling.
Here's to all the servicemen/women and civilans lost on this day... *kachink*. They gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Karen - How totally nice that your DD made a beautiful veggie spaghetti dinner, what a sweet story.
DorK - NE time U need a refill, lemme know, babe, and JD is on it's way (even if I gotta spank Pants to get him to move)! So you got snow?? I don't know where I am so I'm not sure if it's snowing there, but here it isn't yet. Maybe snow this weekend - tee hee! Gotta say I ROFLMAO at the night nights last night to Maryellen and her ho sisters and all the rest of us...then Stella got on my case something fierce about how I'm not allowed to have a cat puke avatar at the holidays...really she made me pick out a cat that wasn't puking!!! How many cats do you know that don't puke, I mean at least coughing up hair balls???? That Stella can be cruel, but I think she knows what she's doing and will get the bucks for sure!!! She said look at how cute Wahine's avatar is and don't be gross like a cat turd. So hope my cat in the red hat is more suitable to Stella and eve'one! An no ho, Maryellen.
Karen - I just love the idea of holiday card exchange, that is so sweet of you to think of doing that with us HTL Hottie chicks! If I only knew where I were...does anyone know if it snowed yet?
Bernie - Don't think I haven't been laffing my A** off at your posts...I been a little out of it (heavy sigh, my DH has been driving me crazy), but I have popped in and read and you are just soooooooo darn funny...love it love it love it, thanks for all the great giggles. Yes, beer does not make you fat, it makes you lean (on doors, etc.) Also did you know beer makes you smart? You know, like it made Bud wiser - he he he! And thanks for the warning about ice, it sounds so dangerous!
Goldie - Awww such nice words to NM...I am so hoping she is feeling okay. Glad you liked my pics and yes, thank our good lord for fukitols...so nice of you to post Mrs V's project and isn't it so totally cool with where we all are out there on the planet and beyond...sheesh sock monkeys and all, I love it! And for dwinks, I wuv wuv wuv da Punch of da Reindeer Antlers, whew, knocked me socks off from da first dwink, yummy, thank you so much!! Looks so nice too but is that snow in it? Did it snow yet?? I am getting my skiis out, looook out below!
Dear Goldie, on a serious note, drive careful to your apt with onc and I am so so so hoping you bloodwork comes back excellent. (I'm waiting on mine too). I will miss you when you are gone so come back soon!
NM - Thank God you are okay, sheesh, been worried about NM!!!!! Is it snowing there? Does it snow anywhere anymore? Dang chilly and damp here tooo wherever I it. Love all the pics and I'm so glad you are back posting - whew, I was getting worried!!!! I wanted to tell you too that I'm so annoyed at my mammo report. The one this week and the 6 month ago one, they write "probably benign finding" is that a crock or what? I mean, either there is something to worry about or nothing, but "probably nothing" is a complete f*cking cop out to say, well if something turns up then I knew I thought I maybe saw something...but if nothing ever turns up I knew that too - PooooooooooooooooooooooP PoooooP brain!! Sorry I'm ranting... but for now B9 and recheck in 6 months and I'm waiting for bloodwork and only got one poke this time - YAY!!!! I can't tell this to anyone but you richeous ladies here at the HTL, no one knows how foooooooo keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeennnng annoying this all is. So whoooooptie foooo keeeng dooo I made it ONE YEAR! Hot sh*t!! (this is the one year from the post tx mamos last Nov 2010 G8d d&amn it! Sorry for my rant but I am P*SSSSSSSSSSSED! And not just about rat b*stard, but rat b*stard too! Gee, I better put on some mellower music. I just want to say I am so glad you are okay and I've missed you and your posts and rants...I LOVE YOU NM!!! BIG HUGS TO YOU!!! Love your posts and pics, just absolutely fantastic!!! Thanks Dollink!!! The Christmas card thing is so funny, and the ice cream poop! Where do you find this stuff???? Amen, more Reindeer Antleers!!
Kymn - hiya babydoll, cheers!
Wahine - Here's to a BIG GLASS OF REINDEER ANTLERS - YEEEEEHAWWW! Tee hee to the pocket party, we all know what that is! Awwww, so sorry about your sadness for Junie and Zula (and I'm sorry I miss spelled Zula's name before). I am sorry and know how hard it must be as you remember these wonderful women you have loved. Strange too they both passed the same month. Darn my sweet Wahine, I hope you will be back and not go into a funk...believe me it's not fun going down the rabbit hole. I am wishing you all best and loving wishes!!!
Thanks for the reminder about Pearl Harbor too, a big day in history. I had many family members involved in WWII. Thanks for the reminder and I will join you in a toast to all who sacrificed for freedom.
So today is December 7, 2011. I am alive and feisty and waiting to give trouble to anyone who tries to hurt me or my dear HTL friends. I am wishing you all just so much love and happiness. I've had some major disappointments this week, but I am alive and I'm going to fight back and give h3ll to anyone who deserves it!!! Now I know I'm posta be getting in a happy holiday mood...is anyone relating to dis???

How bout dis?

Or dis????

Oh, Stella is going to be so mad that I got cat puke back into my post...I'm sorry Stella, pweeeeese forgive bad me!!! I'll try to be a good puppy...

Oye vey! Happy Wednesday!

Love to all of you and hope you have no worries or stress or b*ll sh*t or cr*p or f*cking *ssholes bugging the sh*t and cr*p out of you!!!
Peace, love, dope, cheers! ~ Da Bean

Must be something in the air. It's a fukitol kind of nite. Good luck Goldie.

Undercover - Yes indeed! A fukitol kinda night - thanks for the suggestion! PS I love your quote, "live the hell out of life with no regrets." That is awesome!!!!
Hope everyone is doing okay and that you will feel free to rant away here if needed...believe me I understand! Love you all so much, just take care and have sweeet dweeems!

Thanx Beanius, the quote came to me the nite before my surgery. I just thought whatever happens to me it's meant to be. Love your Mark Twain quote, fascinating person.
0 -
Undercover - wow, that is amazing you could think so clearly before surgery...when I was scheduled for surgery after I found the lump I was just so nervous and wasn't posta eat or dwink nuttin. It was a horrible night, couldn't sleep and had to get up so early to dwive 2 hours to da hospital and get there by 6 am...I was not thinking anything so cool as your quote! Just was a complete basket case. That was before I found out it was rat b*stard. Then I really got flipped out! I love Mark Twain...this quote was just about how I had to go to h3ll to find such wonderful friends. Sux about the cancer part though...ah well...then there was a stupid poster at the docs this week, "cancer is a word not a sentence." WTF is that posta mean? I think I survived breast cancer treatment including stupid effing posters like that.
Cheers and Sweet Dweeems All!!

Beanie, the weather people are predicting a change over to snow near midnight. It was 57 degrees this evening when I left my house at 6:30 and it is not down to 34, yikes. The winds are ripping and roaring. It is not snowing where you are, I checked the doplar radar. hehe. Loved your rant, so glad to have you here in da lounge. We are all here for you sista! And I am so sorry about Stella. I will slap her until her face looks-a like a smackeda arse. She has to learn not to be mean to de bean. she is sawrie.
Rebel/Undy, I agree that it is a fukitol kind of night. hould be sleeping but again going through some chit dat stinks.
NM, hope you are feeling better, each day should be easier. I hope your return to work is not difficult. Be careful not to be a dork and over do things.
lorI, tanks for de rainbow antlers. Or were dey from NM? Regardless, yummmmy yum yum. Pants, pour anudder pitcure for poor me.You and Wahine are away so much, I will surely miss you in de lounge.
Wahine, thanks for the reminder on the day (although it is now 12/8 here). I tend to forget the true meaning of the day as this is one of my prior WD's birthday and I tend to think of her instead of appreciate the ultimate sacrifices made on that day 70 years ago). You have a good trip too. Happy Birthday to your DH from all of us at the htl. i am already sailabwating for him. I never tied Pearl Harbor to you but in reading your childhood memories, I shall never pass this day without thinking of those who gave their lives on that ever so sad dey. I lift my glass back and toast these brave men and woman. Tank a ewe.
Well I am waiting for the change over from rain to snow but so far, just rain. I guess I will give up and try to sleep. The noise outside from the wind is something else - I have jumped outta my skin at least three times tonight after hearing loud noise. Something must have fallen outside my bedroom window as I heard a crash and got paranoid that someone was trying to break in. Must be de booze making me all ascared.
Oh, nearly forgot. Wanted to tell Bernie...What a great gift from your DH, he must have put some thought into that. Impressive, your DH should give lessons on gift giving with a heart. I can't wait to see your pics but worry that you will not sober up as promised. Well I have a favor to to ask. Okay, if you are not sober by saturdey, will you post a pic anyway? Dwunken pics are good pics. Dis I pwomise. When I take dwunken pics of my damn self, I have a good day. It is something to due with the luck of the Irish. Me tinks. Love how you say Slainte, I can't get that little " ' " thingy in the right place. How do you do that??
Well I am going to go to a hammock and lay down. Me tinks me dwank tooo mcuh. You girls are rock stars, tanka ewe for being part of my life. And Stella thanks you too. She cant talk right now cuz she is hurting from her punishament fur being meanzie. Time to rest, this old girl needs to rest her sad sad body.
ChEErZ aand buckets o beerZ!! yeee hawww.
(ps maryellen is a ho, dont tail on me fur sayings)

Yippee da DorK is in da lounge!!! Hope you won't jump outta your skin, really, but it sounds scary...just join me instead for some wed wine and Sabritones...these will hafta edge out cheeze whiz and peanut butter cups. Whoooeeee! Chile & Lime...but really these would go better with wodka that wine. I'm glad Stella isn't too mad at me for all the cat puke. I really need to learn to be a lady and no ho (like maryellen, shuuush, the secret is safe). me tinks too much wine and chile lime sabritones and wodka make me feel like cat puke again.
wahine - me second the happy BD for your DH!!! hope it's a good one.
Dang it too I read but dint say happy BD to chrissy...I was dere for da parteee!!!
Well off I go after twice dumping my glass of wine on the counter...this is Stella's way of saying, "Go to bed [*&^%!!]." So I will take her advice. Cheers, clinks, & many mo dwinks!

I really need my pillow now......
See everyone in the AM. WOW....what fun though.
Visions of Eggnog, as covers both drinks and dessert. Good night ladieZ. - Claire

BEANIUS-I was up all nite with the sibs laughing, talking about old times then the sun came up and I went to the hospital. It calmed any little nerves I had-until I got to the hospital. Then I realized they were actually serious about this operating thing. So I glued my a** to the bed and just remembered why I was there-to rid myself of the rest of the rat b**tard that was still in me. Of course it didn't go as planned as I got bumped all day for emergency surgeries. By the time it was all over I hadn't eaten for 22 hrs, hadn't slept for 37 hrs and had been tortured for no reason-lymph node dye injection which hurt like a mother f*@#er. Then had to go back the next day and start again. By that time I was not even fazed after the trial run. I just wanted it over with. That poster was in my Kaiser cancer book too. And there are some great people on this site. I haven't even been able to talk to my friends on facebook about my bc. It's easier to talk to people here. And not even about the bc,just anything.*****DORK-tonite is a wash so just turn up the music, grab the liquor and forget about everything.0

A wealthy couple prepared to go out for the evening. The woman of the house gave their butler, Jervis, the night off. She said they would return home very late, and she hoped he would enjoy his evening.
The wife wasn't having a good time at the party. So, she came home early, alone. Her husband stayed on, socializing with important clients. As the woman walked into her house, she found Jervis by himself in the dining room. She called him to follow her, and led him into the master bedroom. She turned to him and said, in the voice she knew he must obey, "Jervis, I want you to take off my dress." This he did, hanging it carefully over a chair. "Jervis," she continued, "now take off my stockings and garter belt." Again, Jervis silently obeyed. "Now, Jervis, I want you to remove my bra and panties." Eyes downcast, Jervis obeyed. Both were breathing heavily, the tension mounting between them. She looked sternly at him and said, "Jervis, if I ever catch you wearing my stuff again, you're fired!"

Good morning, Loungettes! The promised heavy rain has turned out to be a steady wet snow. Some schools opening late this am, reports of cars off the road in the usual places for this kind of weather. Very pretty, bit of a breeze coming on, so there's opportunity for power failure, which is annoying as I wanted to do some baking today. Actually, I probably will anyway, since one of the things I want to make is cut out cookies and those have to chill for at least 3 hours, I often chill them overnight anyway. Don't need electricity to mix them up, it's just easier with the beater! Ah, there goes the school bus bang on time, so local school is not on delayed opening. Aha, there is the sand/plow truck going the opposite way, must have passed the bus just down the hill from me.

Beanie-I've learned over the years that the pets are always to be listened to. Save you lots of grief. I like the new avatar, cute kitty with cute hat! I'm sure Stella approves, Sadie certainly does. Maybe we need to see if our furbabies will gang up on our not-so-DH's and teach them to take better care of us. Would be a definite addition to the HTL line of under-the-counter-services. Wouldn't want to compete with Dorky's peeps, though. I am feeling much better, thank you, and have decided that I will not have any more anesthesia of any kind ever again. Done with that. No more recovery. No, wait, I'm now a recovering anesthesia recipient, clean now for 10 days! PARTAY! "Probably benign finding" is a BS statement. I would be camped in my doc's office wanting to know "What happens if this is cancer and YOU don't find out for sure NOW? Will YOU take the treatment? Deal with the pain? Do the dying for me?" That phrase should not be allowed on any report, ever. Either something needs to be investigated or not, make up your mind. Now it's got me on the rant!

Undie-it has been a fukitol kind of time lately, hasn't it. Glad the Lounge keeps a stockpile!
All I could do before surgery WAS think. Found lump in Jan, got mammo. Didn't get mammo results from PCP for 4 weeks. Saw surgeon a month after that. One in office biopsy that day, positive for rat ba$tard, needed second surgical biopsy scheduled 3 weeks later, lumpectomy 1 week after that. Then things started getting delayed. Simulation for rads middle of April, started rads middle of May. Everyone telling me that "It's just a couple weeks delay, that cancer's been there for 7 to 10 years, this delay won't make any difference to your prognosis." Of course, they all also said that if the delay was more than "just a couple of weeks it might be more of a problem." 3 months from finding the lump to getting the biopsy sounds like more than "just a couple of weeks" to me. Aww. Jeeze, now I've gone off on another rant!

DorK-I join my thanks to yours to the Pearl Harbor (and all other) Vets. I always look for the interviews with the still-living vets about that day. To see the reaction on these old men, the few left are in their 90's now, to realize how young they were. I think I need some hammock time, too. I'll join you.

Bernie-Poor Jervis got found out!! TEE HEE

Juliet-we'll be in your pocket this am, and if the fam doesn't brink chocolate WE WILL!!!!!
Princess Glitter Sizzle says today's DOTD is the Chocolate Fixer Upper
1 oz Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur
2 oz Absolut Vanilia Vodka
1/2 oz Creme de Cacao
2 oz Whipping Cream0 -
Good morning loungettes,
So nice to have Princess Glitter Sizzle back in de lounge making de dwinks and starting my day.
NM, the lounge missed you so much. Lori did a great job making de dwinks while you were away and did a great job covering for you but my mornings are not the same without some sugar from NM. Here is a kiss on the cheek, just because I love you - mwah! I loved the photo of the veteran you posted, it brought a tear to my eye. I have been weepier than usual lately and that is so un Dork like. I could feel your pain in talking about your bc journey. You rant girl, rant all you want. Enjoy your snowy view. It never snowed here, just a lot of wind as the cold front moved it. Happy baking! I do slice n bake cookies but sadly, Stella eats the dough before it makes it to the over so den I buy cookies. Stella eats them before her guests arrive. So I buy more cookies and so on and so on.
Allison, I forgot to mention here how sweet your project is. I love the little dwinkies and the sock moneys for HD. I wish she could see this. Mostly, I love the little angel wings you put on Junie. You did an awesome job mapping out the world, not just the USA but you got our Kymn, Bernie and Chrissy on the map. You are so clever to have thought of this on your own. You are pretty smart for a dwunk. Oh, almost forgot, loved how you parked de party bus in Austrailia for our dear Chrissy B and now I know where Ireland is on de map of Europe. Thanks so much for doing this.
If anyone wants the link and the password, you can PM Allison or me for it. It is a must see for all. Great great job, Allison. I applaud you on a job well done.
Beanie, I had a talk with Stella and she sez she will be nicer. She loves your new avatar and she told me she loves you too. The pics you found were great, you always make me laugh. I hope today is a better day for you and if you need help from my people, just say so. Dey do anyting I ask them to do.
Bernie, another great joke. It is so cool having you onboard at de lounge, you bring so much fun. Keep de jokes coming. Can't wait to see a new photo of you. You are such a joy.
Kathy and Lori, safe journeys. De lounge will be quiet without you. I will see if da Bean will help me keep it ripping and roaring dis weekend while you are both away. Stella sends her love.
Shannon, you are done with your surgery right? I get confused easily. Feel free to park your barstool next to de fukitol dispenser. There are enuff for eberybody.
Scuby dooby doo, where are you, de lounge misses you. I hope you are not working too hard. De countdown is on for your vacation and visit with NM. I am jeolous, can you fit Stella in your suitcase?
Juliet, I think it is time for the lounge to add a chocolate dispenser. Mr. Big, get on it. What? I'll get on it but are you saying what I am tinking? Oh no, we are talking about chocolate. White chocolate for meze pleeese. Cookies and cream, yum yum yum. Me loves some good chocolate for breakfast. Don't tell Chrissy, she will scold me.
Well it is time to shake my pedometer some more. I only have seven days left to earn another $100 in my health care spending account and i am afraid that I am unable to walk 12k steps a day. I have tried putting de pedometer on my ceiling fan. It just whirls around den goes projectile. I tried putting it on my rear view mirror of de car, was told that would make lots of steps. No go. All I can do is swing de ting to add de steps. I do take some steps but noo waaay for 12,0000 a day. I make Stella wear it sometimes too. I really should have done better with it, once the next year starts with the program, I am going to shake dat thing every day. Maybe Claire will wear it for me for a few months and make de Dork some much needed money to buy likker. I wonder how many steps she does in a day. Claire, would you help? I was visiting DH the other night and stopped to see a friend who bar tends. I needed 4k steps, this girl Dawn wore it for me and got the job done. Don't tell because my insurance company would be mad that I am cheating. Well, it is Stella that is cheating, I would never do such a ting.
To all, have a stellar kinda dey., stella sez let's dwink. De Chocolate Fixer upper is so yummy. Oh I love de Godiva white chocolate. Classified info sez dat my DH has driven de CEO of Godiva around and he ain't a good tipper. Oops, dat slipped out. I need a spanking....mr big???
Cheerz!

I wanted to say this morning that I saw Bernie's project and it is GREAT!!!
I also want to say again that I will be happy to collect and share snail mail addresses or e-mail addresses for those who would like to send cards. This year I finally told my whole family that I'm not going to do the Christmas shopping thing anymore, I hate it, and it never leaves me time for sending cards and I love to send cards, so that's what I'm doing! I am actually going to enjoy this holiday season!

Good morning girls. Not usually on this time of day...right now I would be in a 3rd or 4th grade class teaching lessons on bullying, teasing, etc. Instead I get to "prep" for a colonoscopy later this afternoon. Anyone want to tag along? This is routine (I hope) and a follow-up to my first 2+ years
ago, pre-BC. I had one polyp then, negative, so am hoping for 1 or none this time as well. Just sooo enjoying the lovely beverages that make things "move along". I've been humming "I like to move it, move it" from Madagascar all evening/morning! Unfortunately alcohol was not on the approved list of liquids that I could have. Did enjoy the orange Pedialyte more than I expected though (not!)Of course it has started snowing as well, so am hoping it does not cause us travel problems.
Might have to take a bag just in case. My parents live there, so that would be okay. However, we'd have DS, age 16, home alone. While he would love that, even with reponsibility for the two dogs, it would make me nervous. So far, he has proven to be a reliable and trustworthy kid, so I guess opportunities like this (if it comes to be) help support that and build that trust for both of us.I see an OT on Friday for eval of right arm/shoulder stiffness and possible lymphedema.
Wishing you all a warm cozy kind of Wednesday. Will report back if the twilight sedation causes any loopiness. When my dad had his, he apparently asked the nurse when he woke up if he now looked like Brad Pitt. Yes, yes sir, yes you do. You're only 70 years old (then). The likeness is startling!
This is the lumpectomy side. Then next week is 6 mo FU with MO and review of survivor (?) plan, I think. Hopefully we will work out who gets to stay on the team and who will sit the bench in regards to my future appts.Glad to get
most of these major treatments done by December, since deductible and major
medical starts all over again. Getting my port surgically removed cost $8000+,
all covered by insurance thank god.0 -
Husker....think I'll pass on tagging along for the colonoscopy.....think I'm do for one in another year...or 6...don't remember if they said 5 or 10 years!!!! sure not going to rush for one!!!!
DorK....I sometimes where my pedometer all day and surprised by how many steps I take when I don't even go for a walk....just don't remember to wear it all the time....some how if I'm taking as many steps as it says, how come I keep gaining weight!!!
Bernie....where do you find all the wonderful jokes?
NM....glad to see you posting on a regular basis....now are you being a good patient? sure hope the surgery was a success and no more sinus pain!!! and I agree with you, no more surgeries!!! I counted up how many I've had since Dx and its way too many.....
Julie.....B9, B9, B9 results for the biopsy
Hi undercover
Don't want to loose my post, so can't go back to the previous page.....
Last night was a f it all night!!! but no fukitol!!! even left a full glass of wine that I will save for tonight.....I got really annoyed with DD wining so I went into the bedroom and shut the door...and ending up falling asleep....she wanted help with planting seeds for her sinus fair project....she was all stressed out about it.....told her when she calmed and relaxed a bit I would help....wrong thing....just got her more stressed....she cries and tells daddy that I won't help her and said I would help her......he had come into the room wanted to know what all the yelling was about....I was just not in the mood to deal with it (never seem to be in the mood to deal with cranky)...so I just got up and walked away.....all is well with DD this morning...kisses and hugs.....and off to school.....but I'm in a funk....oh well, such is life....This is the DD who made me dinner the other night...she is a most amazing and wonderful young lady.....but a moody, post menopausal, irritable, bitchy mother doesn't do cranky wonderful 13 year old girls....she really is awesome...and I should just learn to deal with it better...poor kid....Well off to shower....nothing on the agenda today....I do want to do some baking...cookies...so guess I should get busy......Wishing everyone a good day

If you are paranoid-delusional, we know who you are and what you want. Just stay on the line so we can trace the call.
If you are schizophrenic, listen carefully and a little voice will tell you which number to press.
If you are manic-depressive, it doesn't matter which number you press. No one will answer.
If you are anxious, just start pressing numbers at random.
If you are phobic, don't press anything.
If you are anal retentive, please hold.0 -

Ok,here's a pick me up for those needing it today-true story:A friend of mine went to Laughlin,NV last year for her annual gambling trip. She goes so often that she has 2 cards that get her points as she gambles. They're on a long, coiled keyring. And she wears a wig all the time just because she doesn't want to fix her hair. Of course it's all pinned to her head underneath this wig. Well she hates to lose and she was losing pretty big one day. She finally lost her temper and yanked the card as hard as she could out of the machine. When she yanked it out the keyring flew back toward her wig, snagging it,pulling it off and onto the floor. There she was in a casino with a multitude of people seeing her pinned head. In recounting the story she said "I threw that wig on so fast.I didn't know if it was upside down, inside out or backwards!" She then went toward the elevator completely humiliated. Her friends were just coming out of it when they saw her. They said "Hi Bonnie, how you doing?" She responded "My mother f*@#king wig came off! How do you think i'm doing?!" Then stormed up to her room and did not leave for the next 2 days until it was time to check out. *****SCUBY-Another lesson learned the hard way.0
