Got my wake-up laffs thanks to NM and Bernie and Lori!! Bernie, love the cuckoo clock joke...can just imagine that! Lori, your early heiny scope is hilarious! And NM, all of yours are great!!!

Allison, I had to catch the UFO as I got up late this am....stayed up till 2 am or so after coming home. BUT I am here wid ya now......will try to keep our giggles low, but Beans loaded up da bus and UFO with dees teeny tiny likker bottles...and since we are teeny tiny, the bottles are as big as we are! So trying to fit in some long tiny straws so we can dwink. Lori has a lot of ketching up ta do, so we will twy our best not to talk toooo loud. You are in good hands now! One thing that is usually a benefit from the heiny scope is the GOOD sleep you get, till they wake you up in recovery. Hope you are sleeping soundly and deeply and wake up refreshed!!!! And just think, all day, no one can say you are full of $hit! Just kidding, girlfriend, you know that!

Lisa, wow, how great for a beer lover to live near a bar with so many varieties!!! I forgot how much stronger the ShockTop is from regular domestic beer, and now realize if I am dwinking fast, to stop at 2....take a break....continue later! Just like the Long Island Ice Tea....do not want 2 in quick succession again....will have 1....take a break...then continue. Usually we dwink so much in the casinos but for some reason they hit me soooo hard!

We did come home winners, though. DH was down a bit, and.....now don;'t commit me....he told me I should NEVER tell this...but do I listen to him? NO! Well, in Junie's casino (I renamed the Gold Strike "her" casino as that was her fav place, and where they stayed), we were at the $2 machines, and it was not going well. SO I started (quietly, no one else could hear) whispering to my machine and calling it names, telling it I was going to leave it if didn't show me the love and let me win. Everytime I said something mean to my machine, it would hit! It was SO funny! So I started calling myself the "slot whisperer". DH made the mistake of putting in $100 into a machine, WITHOUT me there to whisper to it, and lost it all. SO when he only wanted to put $20 in the next $2 machine, he had not hit anything, and was down to the last 2 pulls when I showed up. We were ready to leave right after that.  SO, I quickly looked at the 20 gazillion combinations, and out of the blue said"This one will be *2x*, *3x* and *5x*.....and this is so awesome.....it hit *2x* *3bars* and *5 x*!!! ANd he got $600. So even though the *3 bars* was not *3x*, I think that was awful close, and funny it was in the same 2,3,5 order!!! So he left happy!!! Thank God, as before that his birthday was not going so well!! So now I have another moniker..."The Slot Whisperer".

HI to all you loungettes, even though I am not responding to everyone, you know I am thinking of you! And DorK, I agree with Lori, I also love your long posts and am sure there are a lot of lurkers enjoying them!!! Gotta see the trainer today, but haven't done ANYTHING for 2 wks, so HOPE I can convince her to be gentle....do not want that intense pain for several days!!!

    Happpy Dey B4 Twos-dey!!!

    Redhead at the Casino

Two bored casino dealers are waiting at a craps table. A very attractive redhead comes in and wants to bet twenty-thousand dollars on a single roll of the dice. She says, "I hope you don't mind, but I feel much luckier when I'm bottomless." With that she strips naked from the waist down, and rolls the dice while yelling, "Momma needs a new pair of pants!" She then begins jumping up and down and hugging each of the dealers. "YES! I WIN! I WIN!" With that she picks up her money and clothes and quickly leaves. The dealers just stare at each other dumbfounded. Finally one of them asks, "What did she roll anyway?" The other answers, "I thought YOU were watching her dice!"

Gee Bernie, Other than the "attractive" part, was I being watched at the casino??? Just kidding. I loved that one and sent it right away to my DH, esp since I am now a redhead and we just got back from the casinos.

Thinking of Allison today, and hope we were not TOO loud in that procedure room!!!! Take it easy today, ok?

ALMOST Pau Hana time....I am ready for it. Worked out with the trainer today, but had her go REAL easy on me!!! I would rather learn it nice and slow. Pants is fixing me a Seagrams/Diet Coke right now, since DorK advised me to stay with the Seagrams! I see they are stocking some special imported beers for Lisa......anyone around to dwink with???

    Sláinte!

A man and a woman are sitting beside each other in the first class section of the plane. The woman sneezes, takes a tissue, gently wipes her nose, and shudders quite violently in her seat. The man isn't sure why she is shuddering and goes back to reading. A few minutes pass. The woman sneezes again. She takes a tissue, gently wipes her nose and shudders quite violently in her seat. The man is becoming more and more curious about the shuddering. A few more minutes pass. The woman sneezes yet again. She takes a tissue, gently wipes her nose and shudders violently again. The man has finally had all he can handle. He turns to the woman and says, "Three times you've sneezed and three times you've taken a tissue and wiped your nose then shuddered violently! Are you sending me signals, or are you going crazy?" The woman replies, "I'm sorry if I disturbed you. I have a rare condition and when I sneeze, I have an orgasm." The man, now feeling a little embarrassed but even more curious says, "I've never heard of that before. What are you taking for it?" The woman looks at him and says, "Pepper."

When Allison woke up from the procedure, she asked for some vaseline for her dry lips, and look at what it was in.....

Junie was here!!!! The proof is in the foil.  And I'm glad Allison came thru the procedure ok and was able to take ths picture and send it!

My thanks to The Slot Whisperer for posting the foil pic I sent!! Love it!

Thanks loungettes for being there. Everything went great. My Dr. Said all looked well, and there was only one cyst on an ovary, that looked harmless. Glad I opted to go ahead and have them out, too, as on tamoxifen I'm sure I would have developed more, and they are painful!

It's 3 am here, and I am itching and scratching something awful. All the really good pain meds do that to me after about 24 hours, which sucks! Waiting until 3:30 when I can have more Benadryl, and then they will switch me to hydracodone, while not as strong, doesn't make me itch! The worst part of this surgery is this Fn catheter, which gets removed @ 6 am. Counting down the minutes, lol! Get to go home today, but not sure when. Will catch up with you gals later. Lovin my iPad!!

And Scuby, love tour BOTD! That's great! I like beer as well, but am more of an amber Bach girl, also corona, medera! And most Mexican beer. Cheers dears! And it's twofer Tuesday, so I'll take two, of anything!!

    A Woman's Prayer
    Dear Lord...
So far today, I am doing all right.
I have not gossiped, lost my temper, been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish, or self indulgent.
I have not whined, bitched, cursed, or eaten any chocolate.
I have not charged on my credit card.
However, I am going to get out of bed in a few minutes, and I will need a lot more help after that.
    Amen.

    For Mrs Vino

Beanzy, sure glad meezie doesn't have a Mayan calendar.

Another goody................PASS THE PEPPER PLEASE! Pant, Jocks, Hunk, Mr Big, and you wenches too................find all the pepper you can for me goils, PRONTO!

Ok MrsV, I am glad all went good, but meesie is confuzdie. You mention a cyst on your ovary. I thought you were going in for colonoscopy. Either I got the wrong procedure, or you have ovaries in odd places? Aaargh, nor did I know you were staying over! So sorry about the itching, that is a sucky one, same with the shivers.

    Hi and welcome Hawaiik.

Bernie, we are suppose to get more snow here too..............Eeeeeck!

Good morning, Loungettes! Woke up tired and with a slight headache again this morning. Usually that means my chronic sinus infection is trying to become acute, but it'sprobably healing related this time. Neck muscles are really tight, definitely need to call the massage therapist. Got an appointment with the surgeon this morning, then going to just veg out for the afternoon. Got a long day tomorrow: 8:30 to 9:30 meeting, 9:30 to 10:30 education sessions, 11 to 12 counseling session, 12 to 1 set up for the office Christmas party, 1 to 2, Christmas party. I'll probably stay to help clean up, too, if there's any chance of my getting some breadsticks and alfredo sauce-Olive Garden is catering and is my favorite restaurant! Lucky me!

Goldie-Now THAT is one reason I really don't want to have a colonoscopy! OUCH!

Bernie, as usually, got me LOL! Not once but 3 times!

Wahine-coming home a winner is a good thing! If you ever listed out all your names and aliases from the lounge, would it take up a whole page? Seems you answer to ANYTHING!

DorK-I'll join you for Pau Hana, if it ‘s not too late. If it's too late I'll start Tuesday's early! So there! I know lots of people who won't eat something if it has an unpronounceable name or ingredients, but I guess likker is the exception!

    Karen-hope you slept well.

    Wahine-Junie shows herself again!

Mrs. Vino-Welcome back to the lounge, lady! Glad all went well and you get home soon! But I though you were having a colonoscopy? Not that it's hard for Princess Glitter Sizzle to get confused. . .

Hawaiik-Wecome to the HTL! What's your favorite drink?

Princess Glitter Sizzle says today's DOTD is the Pepper Mill

    1 oz Tequila
    1 oz Triple Sec
    1 tsp Pepper Vodka
    1 oz Cranberry Juice
    1 oz Orange Juice

    Directions
Shake and strain into an old-fashioned glass three-quarters filled with broken ice. Garnish with red pepper.

    Hi girls,

Just wanted to throw this idea out there and see what your thoughts are:  Any chance that AC has a POSITIVE  side effect???  All my life I've been a night owl-up too late and sleeping too late or waking up tierd and not ready for the day.  I've always envied those really "together" moms and women who were up and productive  4 hours before I was even awake! LOL  Since getting over the 5 days of yucky side effects I've been up at the crack of dawn.....bright eyed and bushy tailed!!  In fact I was up at 5 a.m. this morning and don't even need to get the kids up till 7!!  Course-look where I am ...... hanging out in the lounge LOL!!

Karen-I SO feel for you dear.  During my daughter's youth (my only girl among three boys) my life was a MESS-granted not with BC but domestic violence, codependency and other crap.  Poor Sissy was always the direction that I vented in whether being short tempered, critical, unavailable, or placing expectations too high for her.  Like yours, she was always understanding, always forgiving, and always there for me the next day.  Not saying that the way she came to be the woman she is was ideal, but WOW is she AMAZING today at 22 years old, and I'm so thankful to say that she and I are still to this day BEST FRIENDS!!  Like all of us, our girls have the choice of taking their life experiences and either stewing and becoming bitter, or gleaning knowledge, understanding and compassion-be proud of the wisdom she shows in choosing the latter!  On the other hand, I agree that YOU deserve a better quality of life, especially after going through the BC-YOU ARE A WINNER GIRL!!  You are not worth giving up on-PLEASE keep talking to docs and counselors till you find what works for you. Don't give up.  When I first came to the lounge by accident and FULL of questions, you ALL kept telling me to ask and if none of you had the answers to KEEP asking on other forums till I found what I needed-you owe that to yourself as well.  Keep us posted :)

OMG, orgasms all around thax to Bernie's yoke and NM's DOTD with pepper! What a day we are all going to have here...housework? What's that?? *kerchoo*

Allison, I am funcused too with Lori and NM....thought it was a colonoscopy yesterday and the ovaries were to be another day? Guess we were dwinking too much and let the doctors do more than they were 'posed to do! Nah, just kidding, but sawwry we did not realize you were having surgery and not just a procedure! You are a champ to still post from the hospital! Verrrry glad you are doing okay.

Hawaiik....are you from Hawaii too? My family goes back generations to being born in the islands, and my g'great-grandpa invented the ukulele on the way over from Madeira on the Ravenscrag in the 1860's. My parents still live there, but I moved to the mainland years ago. Aloha! Okole Maluna!

tiedyemom, Hate to hear you had domestic violence, so did I. My oldest DD suffers from depression and panic attacks, due to all of that. Thought they survived ok since I left when they were a baby and a toddler, but the effects were lasting. My DD's also, are wonderful women and home school their kids and volunteer for EVERYTHING....they are very giving and loving. Good advice to Karen for her to keep looking and not to give up and accept how she is feeling.

Lori and Bernie, if you do get snow, hope you can stay in. I think it will be 60 here today...yay!

NM, What a bizzzy day you have tomorrow! Hope your headache.etc is short-lived! Loved all your comments, cartoons, and that foil horse is priceless! OH, and your DOTD.....that should be a permanent DOTD, maybe a DOTY (year).

Yeah,I answer to *almost* anything. I never had nicknames growing up, but since being with my DH, he has a fav name he always calls me (hush, Lori), so now I am used to answering to that, and if he calls me Kathy, well something is wrong! LOL. But then he comes up with so many other nicknames that it does get funny. So now I have nicknames for my nicknames! And then all the names here, well that list is long........

Hope everyone has double orgasms today, thanx to NM's pepper dwink, and Bernie's joke....and of course we need TWO since its twos-dey. Hope we don't run out of pepper!!!! LOL.

DorKie, where are you??? Missing you today! LIsa too. Oh and Lisa and NM, I am so glad you are going to meet next week! That is sooooo awesome!!!

    HUgsssssssss, Bottoms Up!

Bernie, "Pau Hana" translated means you are through working for the day, in Hawaiian. SO, we would have drinks for celebrating the end of the work day....hence Happy Hour becomes Pau Hana! And "Okole" means "bottom", hence "Okole Maluna" means "Bottoms Up".  Now you know some Hawaiian! Hope you know what Pupu means.......

Appetizer - found that on the internet. HaHa

A preacher goes to a nursing home to meet an elderly parishioner. As he is sitting there he notices this bowl of peanuts beside her bed and takes one. As they talk, he can't help himself and eats one after another.
By the time they are through talking, the bowl is empty. He says, "Ma'am, I'm sorry, but I seem to have eaten all of your peanuts."
"That's okay," she says. "They would have just sat there. Without my teeth, all I can do is suck the chocolate off and put them back."

No silly girls, HYSTERECTOMY!! I just had to do the same prep cleanse as a colonoscopy, lol! Guess the Dr didnt want to get shit on during my HYSTERECTOMY!! Lmao! I wasn't sure I was going to leave my ovaries or have them taken, because of the whole menopause thing and I'm only 39. In the end, I decided to have them removed too, have to go through menopause sooner or later, and tamoxifen can cause very painful ovarian cysts, which I already had one, and only been on the drug two months. So again, you girls just had the hole wrong, lol. It was don laparoscopic and vaginal, and does require overnight stay. Pretty sore today. They are getting my release papers ready now :-)
