Whatever your name is, up there........sawry your toe is hurting again. Hoping you can keep your mind off of it with all the festivities at your house and the G'kids. Little over a week ago we a foot of snow, just as it was about gone and dried up, we got another 6". That was just about gone and was drying up, now we are getting more. Suppose to get wind as well. What worries most is I'm almost out of likker!

DorK, you are not lazy! You have been through alot, and best you be lazy and not do chit anyways.
So take you valium, be good little girl
, leave the trash alone, leave the candles alone, and heal
. So you don't have problems with yer dernself and the new boobs.
Almost time for our Maine Dears to have some chears and beers! (I know NM, you are not a beer drinker, I just had to copy from "what's her name" up there!)

Just wanted to report that I just broke one of the lids of a brand new Yankee Candle, damn it. It was an accident, I was simply "placing it" and dropped it on de floor. Thankfully, only de lid broke. But note to self, do not touch ANY more glass.
Hoping de Scuby and de NM are having a swell time.
Still no return call from the doctor. I am going to do a little bagging (vs wrapping). My DD and exhub are going to arrive shortly then depart for the N. Jersey to have dinner with with the cousins and MIL. I am going to nab the ex and have him get some stuff from the attic for me. Exciting news, eh?
Thanks Dr. Lori, I needed to hear that. I feel so lazy but I am entitled. CheerZ!

30. Remove puppy from present & hurriedly slap tape on to hold the paper on.
31. Take now soggy bow from puppy & tape on since the sticky stuff no longer sticks.

Proly a lil exercise is a good idea, but pweeeese don't over do nuthin.

Kimberly - Hello to you, I've been wandering around da bar and not sure if I bumped into you too. Are you having surgery today? What a nice story about the dog. Rat ba$tard attacked me in early 2010 but I beat the cr*p outta him...these ladies helped me to kick butt and have fun at the same time!
Karen - With all this likker floating around I missed where you are flying too, so I hope you have a good flight. Also hope your mom and dad get things worked out okay. And to echo DorK, HAPPY HANUKKAH!
Claire - Hope you are feeling better.
Bernie - LOL at the guts joke, so silly! And love the potato joke, all so funny, thank you!
NM - So neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet you are meeting Scuby, I know that will be great and I also hope the surgeon meeting went well.
Goldbug - LOL at a spanking for NM for good behavior! And Katrinka da Drinka shoes!! Dat is great we are watching Da DorK like a Da Hawk...we will make sure she gets all bettah. You ask bout holidaze and we are in da mtns with a full bar so will be dwinking and celebrwating wid my neighbors. We are having a snow bunny ski party which ALL LOUNGETTES are invited to attend. It's starting at happy hour tonight and going at least through New Years. The HAWKS COCKTAIL is the perfect send off for the snow bunny ski party. Hey, just lost a post, bummer! NM is as awesome, adorable and wonderful as you expect, could have chatted for hours! DH took pics on both our cameras, I will post Monday when I get back. Plus a Scooby bumper sticker, yay! Can't wait to be back here again!
Junie was there, I got a free beer from the waitress as she got tied up with something and forgot my beer order, which was fine since we were so busy talking, I forgot it for a while, Cheers Junie, tanks!
Got to share a laugh. My DMIL is 5'2" at best, I am 5'9" plus wearing cowboy boots. She is widowed and recently remodeled her bathroom. I borrowed her hair dryer this a.m. to get ready for lunch, drying my hair in her mirror, all I could see was my chest, couldn't scrunch enough to see anything else. Stood there LMAO, not sure her or DH would get it!
Lori and Beans, stay safe and hydrated! Lori, hope you get through!
DorK feel better! Cheers!0 -
Scuby, thanks for the update, how awesome that you got a free beer, go Junie! I am glad you had a nice time, knew you would. lol on the mirror, I can picture you standing there and giggling once you gave up on seeing your hair. I am sure you looked stunning as always.
I heard back from the nurse at my PS office, she spoke doctor and they both agree that I have some ededma on my mucles above the implant and that it should go down in the next few weeks, nothing unusual. Scuby, take note! Told me to take it easy, no heavy lifting, no pushing or pulling. Darn, DH will be disappointed lol. I see Scuby's PS next week, can't wait to meet him, I think he is a little hotty!
Honestly, the implant feels SO much better than the TE which had been torturning me since July. I am getting excited for the big reveal on Saturday.
Just got great news from my sister. My nephew, a great kid who is 25, got pulled over and caught with no insurance on his vechicle. Not the brightest thing to do considering this kid is in med school. He got a good attorney and the prosecutor must have been in the holiday spirit as he reduced the charge to not carrying proper insurance docs which was a $200.00 fine plus 30.00 court cost. I am thrilled for my sister as they were really stressing with the reality of him losing his driving priveledges. He is a good kid, just ran into some tough financial times and refused to ask his parents for help. I was praying for a Christmas miracle and he got it. I know it was wrong but it was not like he was out there loaded drunk and driving. I think he bit off more than he could chew, he is driving a late model Lexus. I hope he has learned a lesson. I felt terrible because he is just so sweet, he is always first to jump out of his chair to give it to one of us older peeps, just a darling, also my God son. I was praying all day yesterday for a miracle and it happened. Yippeee!!
Hoping Karen arrived safely in Colorado and hope Beanie and Lori enjoy their white Christmas. It is still quite mild here, sitting at 58 degrees, welcome winter, eh? I would love snow for Christmas but not this year.
My parents will be flying in to Atlantic city later this evening, can't wait to see them again.
Kathy, so sorry to hear about your mother, I will be praying extra hard for her. And for you too, I know it hurts to hear this news but I think she will bounce back. You are such a great daughter to you parents. Here is a Segream's for you, ma dear.
Oh my, it is 5:12pee em here on de East coast, anyone joining me for a dwinky? Sure need one todey!
CheerZ!

I am headed out to the wine bar in a while. Great news about your nephew DorK. I suspect the judge took a good look at the situation, and did the minimum. A good kid who learned a valuable lesson about asking for help.
Not totally over the creeping crud, but on the tail end now, so just dragging a bit. So much better than earlier this week. - Claire

Dearest DorKiest, leave the glass alone! What do we have to do? Tie ur arse up? You should be doing NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING! And no call back from the docs? Dang it.....can you just keep calling? (Ok, I see you heard back.) I hate that, my one doc just has voice prompts and voice mail, and you're lucky if they call you back. My onc wanted me to call and ask if my doc did any biopsies when I had the endoscopy. I called, and they said there was nothing in my file that I even had an endoscopy done!!! WTF? Your parents are coming?
LMAO....Bernie, how fun with that wrapping with the poochies!
Scuby, I can relate with the mirror, I am 5'9" too! So glad our Junie was there to give you a beer and since it was free, it had to come right from The HTL! Oooooo, I can't wait ‘til Monday!
NM, you must have had just as good of a time. I am so happy for the both of you, getting to meet. Katrinka, or whatever her name is, is the first and only person I have met, and it is OH SO FUN!
Kathy, I think you are enjoying family today. I am hoping your mom is ok, as now I have funcused myself, and don't remember if she is on the up swing or hit a nudder bump. I wood haf to go back and read the latest.
Oh Beans, don't you look cute in your bunny ski outfit. I will post mine, but it really isn't me, and some of you gals may bremember the pic from last year. Beanie and I are going to UFO stuff back and forf, since we are bof stuk on mountains. We are sharing food and dwinks. It is snowing and blowing here and berry cold. Right now it is 16 degrees. We may head out early in the morning, while the ground is froze, and hoping it stays frozen, as temps are suppose to be below freezing.

Oh look, Stella used her powers and turned Dork into a WINX and they can bof ski now too! That's Dofey on the left, Stella is bwonde.

Yes Beans, that sure is a hottie playing with da snow....can we add him to de HTL? Huh, can we, can we???? Lori, OH NO do not run outta da likker! Glad Beans can send you some via dat UFO....thank god for that!!!! Bernie, funny jokes as usual! Can't comment on all or I will take up PAGES and bore everyone. Beans - Not having surgery today, at least I don't think so, missed one BS appointment last month (and I love that guy), psychiatrist (and got charged) appointment last month, now you have me wondering if you know something I don't know, like I had surgery scheduled this week. Hmmn, boobs are off. I must have showed up for that one. Is there something I am forgetting, hemorrhoids, appendix, gallbladder, colonoscopy, knee replacement? Damn. What am I forgetting? Is hard to keep it all straight.
DorK - My niece said when she was little she knew her parents were having sex when she smelled the candles. Well, like that was the first clue. Quit breaking the candles!
Real christmas present wrapping dog story. Years ago, different dog, I am wrapping presents on the living room floor. Roll out paper on living room rug and dog does want to sit on it. Yell at dog who backs off. Realize static is causing dog hair on carpet to stick to wrapping paper. Ugh. Have Christmas Kahlua, vodka and cream sitting a little ways off. Notice some dog hair sticking to tape. Ugh. Finish one present wrapped and want sip of drink to celebrate. Border collie had beat me to it and downed my drink, then left me alone while wrapping my presents. Wouldn't do it on purpose, but it did happen.

DorK and Beans...I'm in Toronto with DD#1 and SIl....I fly home to Denver on Sunday afternoon...Speaking of Denver... 1 1/2 feet of snow....a winter wonderland!!!!
WE have a new member of the family!!!! Her name is Mischa and she is a 3 year old St. Bernard....found out today that we were #1 on the list to adopt...."foster mom" brought her over to meet the family including Bear.....the 2 dogs got along well....as my DS said..of course Bear approved of Mischa...he likes the ladies!!! DD#2 is so thrilled with Mischa as is DH....they are in love...I told DH to go ahead even though I'm gone as I liked the pics of her.....and today when we got the eval report she sounded wonderful...Mischa was only in foster care for 2 weeks...her original family moved out of state into an apt and didn't feel it was fair to her to live in an apt.....so she was a well loved doggie.....For those of you that have fb you can see pictures of Mischa there and read the comments that I posted from DD.....I can't wait to meet Mischa on Sunday....oh yeah...the foster mom asked DH if he wanted to wait till I got home and DH told her he couldn't stand for her to leave with Mischa....we're a bit of a nutty dog family!!!!
DorK....glad the news is good regarding the implant....
Scuba....funny story about the mirror....
Kathy....hope the toe is feeling better....do you need to go back to the doctor??? How is your Mom
NM...how are you feeling?
Mom sent me an email this afternoon.. told me on the way home she didn't make any wrong turns and stayed in the white lines!!! gave me a chuckle!!! she let me drive to the airport....I'm thinking of going back in February....Mom says that they might come to Denver for Passover....that is the beginning of April....would love to have them, but will see how the next couple of months go...
The flight from S. FL to Toronto was one of the best in a long time....the plane was 1/2 empty....I had the 3 seat row to myself so I was able to stretch out....We left about 25 minutes late but still got in on time...When I got on the plane I asked the flight attendant how late we would be and she said "not at all as the pilot has a hockey game to go to"!!!!
It's late so going to wish everyone sweet dreams...Hugs...Karen

Karen, Best wishes on the new homecoming of Mischa.

May God give you...For every storm a rainbow, for every tear a smile, for every care a promise and a blessing in each trial. For every problem life sends, a faithful friend to share, for every sigh a sweet song and an answer for each prayer."
There's more, much more, to Christmas than candlelight and cheer; it's the spirit of sweet friendship that brightens all the year. It is thoughtfulness and kindness, it is hope reborn again, for peace, for understanding and goodwill to all women!

Good morning, Loungettes! I had a great time with Lisa yesterday. We yakked for 2 ½ hours and it seemed like just a couple of minutes. Her husband is a wonderful person, too. He takes good pictures! Love the Hawkes Cocktail, yummy, yummy! Bring them on!

Wahine-Poor toe, I'd send Mr. Big over to massage it but I think that would not be a good idea, so I'll send Mr. Big over with the percotini fountain instead.

DorK-Glad to hear the bumps and marks are only bruising and swelling, more glad you called the PS office before the holiday weekend got underway! Until you can get to cycling, try some walking-that's a good way to start getting back into shape for cycling and whatever else. Just not just yet, give your body some healing and recovery time. Sounds like you're getting more realistic about housework. But all this can start after the New Year!

BERNIE!!!!!!!!!! Here I thought the exercise thing was going to be real advice! I've done the wrapping presents with dogs thing, got it just right!

Beanie-do ski lessons come with the suits? I've never skied before, always wanted to try it.

Scuby-there I let you get in the first post, but I'm getting the pic up first! Your MIL sounds like quite a pistol, and I still LOL when I think of you trying to dry your hair why looking in the mirror and only seeing the "pertinent parts" of your bod! Cheers to Junie!

Can the rest of you just picture the 2 of us (Mr. Scuby went off shopping) sitting in a busy local pup talking away a mile a minute about TEs, exchanges, recons, nipples, oophs, chemical menopause, etc?
DorK-your nephew sounds like a sweatheart, and I can understand getting caught short handed. Glad he got a little Christmas miracle to help him out! And LEAVE STUFF ALONE! Do we have to sic YOUR own peeps on you??????

Claire-here's hoping the creeping crud scuttles away totally by the end of the day!

Goldie-one can only hope that lady has had a bilateral breast recon, has no feeling in the boobs and no nipples to freeze off!

Kimberly-LOL! Sounds like some of the dogs I've had-get in the way then drink my dwinky, although it was usually coffee. . . .

Karen-hooray for the Mischa joining the family! Must have been hard for the family to leave her behind, they'll be happy to know she's found such a fabulous home! And I am feeling very good, thanks, just tired some, still. And yesterday I had a glass of wine with Lisa and when I got home I was pooped! Been a busy week and I still need to pace myself , so a nap is in order today!

Princess Glitter Sizzle says today's DOTD is the Grinch's Christmas

3 oz Vodka

Stopping in for a few minutes before I get ready for a full day at ICONS. So excited to see the picture of NM and Scuby!! You gals look great!! I can't wait to meet one of u, any of u!! Think we were talking about Nashville in February??
Goldie, tanx for watching after de Dorkster. You and Beans have it covered. I know she likes de spankins, so maybe Mr. Big can spank Mrs. Dorothy when she behaves?? Bet there's no more broken glass!! lol
Kathy, hope your toe is healing up. Have u been soaking it? How is your Mommy?
Karen, Hooray on the new fur baby! Can't wait to see a pic, and find out the name!!
Can't comment on all, would of had to take notes and didn't. LMAO at the pic Lori posted of the naked girl on sled!!! And Bernie, that tater joke was great!
Quick Christmas doggie story of my own, since we're sharing. When DH and I met, he had a french brittany named Lucy, she was 4 or 5 at the time, that was 17 years ago, and she passed away 6 years ago this month. Great dog. Anyway, every Christmas, DH would go out and buy various thong underwear and wrap them up and give them to people from Lucy. Lucy gifts are still handed out each year, lol. Anyway, our second Christmas together, I was decorating the tree, and decided to hang candy canes on it. The couch was behind me, so I placed two boxes on the back of couch. I am very picky about my Christmas trees, so was carefully placing each one, and would walk into the kitchen for a drink of my wine occassionally. Well, the number of candy canes seemed to be dwindling faster than they should, and next thing u know, empty boxes, and I hadn't taken the last few, not to mention how many others. So it dawns on me I hadn't seeen Lucy in a while. I yell for her, she slowly comes around corner with head down, I very sternly say "come here!" and she gets right by me, and her breath was the dead give away. That dogs breath never smelled so good! LOL!! Then she shit like a goose the whole next day!
Anywho, hope you girls have a great Christmas Eve Eve!! Will check back in tonight!
Cheers me Dears!!

Good Friday morning.....not sure what the plans are for the day....DD is making Shabbat lunch tomorrow so she needs to do a little cooking....Tonight Shabbat dinner is with SIL's family...there will be about 40 people...more kids than adults!!!! My computer is doing strange things....on the left side there are horizontal lines moving fast, fast, fast....fortunately it hasn't gotten worse since last night....Tried restore on the computer but it didn't go away....thought I brought a flash drive with me, but can't find it anywhere (and DD and DH didn't see it on my desk or my dresser at home...bummer as it has a Sir Paul key ring with it and the start of a journal) (: So might go out and buy a flash drive and save everything to it incase the computer crashes...not sure if its the computer or just the "monitor"...the laptop is only 1 1/2 years old....DD got her computer at the same time and doesn't have the same problems...she says its because I go on aol and she doesn't!!!! More bummed about not finding the flash drive cuz it was cute and pink and sir paul ey ring and journal!!!!
Darn...was going to write something else and just totally forgot....haven't a clue what it was!!! and I haven't even had anything more than water to drink.....should I check what is in the water in Toronto???
Yesterday when I got in, the outside pocket on my suitcase was open...it had a bunch of little stuff in it for the kids....candy, crystal light and assorted other things they wanted....and it was spread all over the carousel where luggage arrives....the pocket zips around and opens flat...think I got everything...you should have seen me trying to pick it all up off the carousel while its moving....still annoyed by it all....not sure how it happened...when I got to luggage claim decided to go to the restroom before getting it off the carousel (so I didn't have to schlep it into the restroom) and pretty sure I saw the bag and it was closed...so did someone open it and try to take stuff...how did the zipper get open? a mystery...won't pack anything in the outside on the way home....
Have a great Friday...

Ya Beans....who dat? We likey ur new fwend.
Very nice Christmas blessing Kathy. And yes, you better be watching doze tootsies. I hope they are feeling better.
Kimberly, I don't know what is funnier, Beans thinking you had surgery, or your reply. Very cute. Sounds like you had a happy pooch!
YAY for MISCHA and for Karen and her family. What a great gift and timing. How do you pronounce that? I am saying "meesha", is that right?
Very nice saying Bernie, and goodwill to all WOMEN!
Ok NM, I won't be reading your post for a bit, as I just want to stare at you and Lisa. Look at your two, sitting there in that bar, with smiles from ear to ear.......................
Ok, I'm back. That pooch pic is too funny, the one chasing his ummmmm ............jingle bells? Hope he didn't catch them!
MrsV, that is a good idea for DorK. Spankings for good behavior. You all for that Dork? Love your Lucy stories, too cute that you still pass out Lucy gifts.
Needing me some Grinches Christmas as DH and I are debating whether or not to go to town!
Now, how cute is this?

Just a quickie as I have a dental appt and then have a lot to do for our CHristmas dinner tonight...I am not ready so it won't be like I would really like it to be. Had a nice time at my gdau's 7th bday celebration last night!
Karen, Mischa sounds purrfect (furfect?).....how very special, and didn't we all tell you the right furbaby would come along! Glad you got to Toronto safely. Yeah, I never put anything (except magazines or something) in the outer pockets. And I STILL lock my luggage(with TSA locks). The last couple of yrs our luggage has not been opened and inspected....yay....used to happen a lot. I guess their xray equip is better so they can see more?
NM, What a BEAUTIFUL picture of two beautiful girlz!!! Thanks for sharing. YOu both look so happy and are much more photogenic than I am. What a special day. Ok....can't help it....gotta ask you...were you and Scuby really "sitting in a busy local pup"??? LOL. I think that beer got to you, but it prolly is all our doggie talk today! Esp since Karen has a new furbaby now. Glad you are doing well, and that you are resting as needed!
Allison and Kimberly, FUNNY true doggie stories! My dogs have always been outside dogs, so haven't gone thru that but can just imagine it. My DD gave my DH a tiger that has motion sensor (did I mention that earlier?)....and it laffs belly laffs and rolls over and over...sooo funnny. OF course we had to bring our dogs in to see it. Molly ran off, but Maverick was so curious about this thing and gently picked it up by its ear! I had to stop him though in case he wanted to harm it. But I wonder if he just wanted to gently figure it out. They have NEVER played with toys....we rescued them when they were around 2, and now I wonder if I can find a safe dog toy that acts similar to this one???
Beans, so nice you found some time to come back here! SUre missed ya! And Bernie, always laff hysterically at your jokes!!!
Lori, Yes, I remember that pic.....sooooo funny!!! Are you still snowed in???? Did your friends with your little buddy make it there safely???
DorK, WHew, I had a lot to comment to you on, but I read all that last night, and now I forgot. Please take it easy, and so glad they nurse and dr think it will be okay, and just take time for the swelling, etc to go down.
Hugs all.....gotta run,
Happy Christmas Eve Eve!
Kathy
