LMAO! Got 5 inches of snow and still falling, first white Christmas in a while! Still in my pajamas drinking coffee at 10:30 am, yay me! Love it!
Too much to say, but, funny Allison, I had a Brittany Spaniel named Lucy growing up, she had a huge sweet tooth, you could leave meat out to defrost and it would be fine, but this dog once ate a whole pineapple upside down cake, a also shat like a goose! Too funny!
NM, thanks for posting pic, it did go by too fast. Sounds like we will be back this summer for a family reunion, see ya soon! Pup, pub, whatever!
Cheers to all! Lisa0 -
Good morning loungettes,
Loved de reading dis morning - dis is de way I like to start my day! Love de DOTD, I have already had four. I am so grateful to be out of work this week to enjoy all of you and not miss a word you say. I have had resentments over the years with getting off for the holidays and never got this week off despite my seniority. Management only allows two persons from each team off and it seems that others have good excuses such as they have to travel to see their loved ones. So being the nice gal that I is, I let them have this week and just take off early Janurary. Not this year, de DOrk gets de week before AND after off work. Yippee Dme!
I slept very well last night and so far, have not smashed or broken any glass todey.
NM and Scuby, LOVE the photo of you gals. So cute that you both have scarves on too. LOL on NM beating Scuby to posting de pic but Scuby foyst posting de story of their meeting. You gals look great and I agree that Mr. Scuby is a great photographer. Here's a toast to de Mr. Scubs *CLINK*
Karen, CONGRATS on Meesha, I am so happy for you and your family. And gosh, I really hope no one opened your luggage. Have a pleasant Shabbot with the extended family.
NM, loved your cartoons and pics todey. I love the doggie in de bed de most. Sort of looks like a huge version of my Isabella (Bella). A toast to you and the great job you do with bwinging us dwinks and humor in de mornings that you can. You look great in the photo, you girls do look sooo happy, love the big pretty smiles on both of you gals! Your notes look great btw lol.
Allison, lol at the candy cane story and your furbaby Lucy. I will add to this that my Mocha, the dog I put down over the summer was a coffee nut and an alcoholic dog! In his early days, I would turn my back for just a minute and find that lil demon on my chair lapping up my coffee. I never saw him do it as he knew it was not allowed. I would go upstairs, then come down and think hmmm, I did not drink my coffee yet it is gone. He was not a good thief as he would leave evidence of splashes on the kitchen table. Of course he was not allowed on my chairs, he did this when I was not looking. I discovered his alcoholism when I moved here. In the summer, I would love to have my dwink sitting by the steps of my pool while I floated in a raft. I often caught him flapping up my Jack n Coke. I eventutally broke him from this nasty habit but he seemed to get to indulge often as I am the queen of spilling dwinks and was the king of clean up. He never got sick from it either. ~disclaimer~ I DO NOT allow my dogs to even jump up at the kitchen table.
Bernie, loving your posts girl! When you write something serious, I find myself looking for a punch line lol. I am waiting for that photo of you with a big smile, isn't todey de dey?
Kimberley, look what you started! I also loved your response to you having surgery this week. Glad you checked and all your parts are in order! Come on back when you can, de lounge is happy to have ya!
Katrinka Kane, gosh girl, you have been so busy and me tinks you are looking for spankings too. I hope that as you do all this walking and working that you are at least wearing those protection shoes that NM picked up for you. I am praying for your Mother's mental health. It really is sad that your Dad will not surrender and just move to Bama. I know it is hard for you, I think about you all de time. Have a nice dinner tonight and try to come back soon, de lounge misses you.
Lori, be safe out there today, it looks to me that it is still snowing. I love the idea of me getting spankings from Mr. Big for being a good girl. Me tinks he needs to spend the day with me as I plan on behaving. It has been so hard not to peel these layers of gauze and ace bandages off to peak at my girls but will wait like a good goil until tomorree. I liked the photo of de candy cane candle, very pretty. And LMAO at the redneck sleigh!
Allison, I am so happy that you are doing so well. It is so nice that you can spend time at home with your DD and make money too. I would love an appointment at ICONS. I wonder if de UFO could bwing me for a manicure.
Scuby, enjoy the white Christmas this year! So happy that you will be visitng ME again. How cool is it to be able to visit your inlaws and stop in for a dwinky with our Kim? I say it is purdy dern awesome.
Well I better get moving. DH will be here shortly to help me get my wrapping stuff from de attic. He does not know it yet but he will be pushing the vacuum cleaner either todey or tomorree. All of my shopping is done except for a quick trip to de likker store. I want to restock my wine rack, seems the bottles have been nesappearing and I suspect that the culprit is my DD. She knows not to touch the expensive stuff but has my blessing to open a bottle any time she wants to. She does not drink much at all, thankfully.
Blessings to all, sending you all lots of Peace and Lottsa Love. I say it often and will say it again (I also say dis last sentence often)....you gals are my rocks and I am forever grateful to have each of you in my life. You girls keep me sane (no comments please), you keep my heart filled with love, you keep me dwinking and most importantly you all keep me laughing despite the fact that laughing hard hurts, it hurts so good!!
CheerZ!! *clink clink clink*

NEW BIBLICAL REVELATIONs
This comes from a Catholic elementary school. Kids were asked questions about the Old and New Testaments. The following statements about the Bible were written by children. They have not been retouched or corrected. (Incorrect spelling has been left in.)1. In the first book of the bible, Guinessis, God got tired of creating the world, so he took the Sabbath off.
2. Adam and Eve were created from an apple tree. Noah's wife was called Joan of Ark. Noah built an ark, which the animals come on to in pears.
3. Lot's wife was a pillar of salt by day, but a ball of fire by night.
4. The Jews were a proud people and throughout history they had trouble with the unsympathetic Genitals.
5. Samson was a strong man who let himself be led astray by a Jezebel like Delilah.
6. Samson slayed the Philistines with the axe of the Apostles
7. Moses led the Hebrews to the Red Sea, where they made unleavened bread which is bread without any ingredients.
8. The Egyptians were all drowned in the dessert. Afterwards, Moses went up on Mount Cyanide to get the ten ammendments.
9. The first commandment was when Eve told Adam to eat the apple.
10. The seventh commandment is thou shalt not admit adultery.
11. Moses died before he ever reached Canada. Then Joshua led the Hebrews in the battle of Geritol.
12. The greatest miracle in the Bible is when Joshua told his son to stand still and he obeyed him.
13. David was a Hebrew king skilled at playing the liar. He fought with the Finklesteins, race of people who lived in Biblical times.
14. Solomon, one of David's sons, had 300 wives and 700 porcupines.
15. When Mary heard that she was the mother of Jesus, she sang the Magna Carta.
16. When the three wise guys from the East side arrived, they found Jesus in the manager.
17. Jesus was born because Mary had an immaculate contraption.
18. St. John the blacksmith dumped water on his head.
19. Jesus enunciated the Golden Rule, which says to do one to others before they do one to you. He also explained, "a man doth not live by sweat alone."
20. It was a miracle when Jesus rose from the dead and managed to get the tombstone off the entrance.
21. The people who followed the Lord were called the 12 decibels.
22. The epistles were the wives of the apostles.
23. One of the oppossums was St. Matthew who was also a taximan.
24. St. Paul cavorted to Christianity. He preached holy acrimony, which is another name for marriage.
25. Christians have only one spouse. This is called monotony0 -
You all have a brilliant Christmas. I'll be back.
Lots of love to everyone

Been wasting the morning doing much of nothing...well chatting with DD while she knits and is on fb....she's done a bit of cooking in between....drives me crazy as I work much differently than her...Need to get a walk in today...she said its cold out....well I shouldn't let that stop me!!! but will it!! they are on the 5th floor...I can walk up and down the stairs a few times!!!
Goldie...was you who asked...I'm guessing Mischa is pronounced "me sha"....but didn't ask....DH told me that I'm going to love her...that she slept in our bedroom last night and that DD#2 said this is the best Chanukah ever...now is she in love or what!!! and you know, I didn't even think of Mischa being a Chanukah present for the family, but now I do.
Bernie....those are too funny....
Nice that you share your stash with DD....DS doesn't like red wine...so when he drinks wine its DH chardonnay....but generally DS drinks beer and he gets his own stash...not sure who pays for it....I know he puts it on the credit card...and he pays part of the bill, but I never really check closely what he's paying...As my Dad said...DS has it good!!!
Ddin't catch the PUP vs PUB....tells you how well I read...guess i just read what its supposed to say...thats why I'm not a good proof reader!!!
Misplaced my new flash drive...thought I brought it with me, but I can't find it in all my stuff...and DD and DH don't see it at home....want to go to Staples to get another one, but not sure that DD will have her act together to make a stop there....and if I don't get it today, I'll just get it when I get home...would like to back up everything on the computer....not sure what is going on with it....
Wishing everyone a wonderful week-end....Hugs...Karen

Bernie - I loved the dog wrapping jokes too, reminds me of my cat whenever I would do anything he would be in the middle of it, so cute! And the lovely Chistmas cheer, so very nice!
Karen - thanks for filling me in on your trip...hope it's a great trip to Toronto. Mischa sounds delightful. Oh my what an awful experience trying to pick up things on the luggage carousel! Hope you got all your stuff!
NM & Scuby - Absolutely love the pic, thanks for posting. You are both gorgeous and that pub looks so fun. It always makes me feel so much closer to see pics and I just cannot describe the fondness I have in my heart for you both!! What's funny too is there is a lady in the background who in the pic looks so much like meself (cept her nose isn't big enough) - was I there drinking too and just don't remember???? I sure wish I coulda been!
NM - By all means ski lessons are included in the snow bunny ski twip, snow boy is teaching us all! Come on down!!!
Princess Glitter Sizzle - Love the DOTD!!! Thanks it is fabulous!! Yummy!!!
Mrs V - I've never been to Nashville but one of these days, I would just love to visit there! Great story about Lucy too, thanks for sharing, that is so cute!
Goldie - You like Snow Boy or do you have a better name??? DH and I are going to town today, we are getting a late start so it will proly be so dark and cold when we get back this eve. If you go to town I hope you dwive safe, specially after the Grinches Christmas!
Scuby - 5 inches of snow! We still have had so little, just a pretty 4 to 6 inch blanket. Too funny you had a Brittany spaniel names Lucy!!
Well I gotta get my butt down the hill. We have a tiny post office about 12 miles away and they are loaded with packages and my MIL called to say she sent some stuff that has gotten there. Then we have to go another 24 miles to another post office, then get some groceries, then drive about an hour the other way to the bank, then another hour back home. Sheesh, it's getting so late! Hope everyone has a great day! Cheers!!!

Have a good trip, Beans.
I am so excited as my Kindle Fire came an hour or so ago. Of course, I christened it by getting pudding greast on the back. So will have to start out by giving it a cleaning.
My pudding steaming operation is going just great. I need to get out for a few items as we have SUN today.
I wonder what cleaning product works for removing grease from the back of a Kindle Fire. Maybe I should read the instructions????? And the the product they recommend????
Merry, merry Christmas to all who celebrate!!! I think I am doing just fine celebrating so far.....as in I added brandy to the puddings only.....didn't take a large swig from the bottle. Was tempted though.
See all of you later. - Claire

Beans, no problem. I really did miss those appointments, had only missed one medical or dentist appointment in 30 years. Freaking chemo brain, Wonder if I could count my fingers some days.
Bernie, did you ever smile and show teeth and I missed it? This thread moves so fast. Anyway, love the chuckle you give all of us almost every day.
Mrs. Vino, I would have to pay thousands for a peidcure to work on these feet. The only upside is I can laugh at the foot fetish boyfriend I had long ago, wonder how limp it would go looking at what these feet have become.now.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE to the bestest breastie fwends an DE WORLD. You goyles make my WORLD go round! I cheated last night and came to de lounge, but I was berry quiet and did not talk, no one wuz here. I see now that Stella and Kimber came by. Sorry I missed you ladies.
Allison, I thought you would like the red neck sleigh. I have one, actually from our Kittycat.

Beans, you should not have asked for a name, you should just give it to him. I actually thought about snHO boy, keeping your original, just putting a spin on the spelling! Whatever his name, he will be fun to play with!
DorK, Stella is ready for Christmas and even colored her hair poyple for the occasion, jes for you.

We are still planning to go to Laughlin/Lake Havasu for some quad fun, but not taking ours. We know some people out there and they have a four seater, so the 4 of us will all go together. I am kind of bummed about that, was wanting just some together time with DH. Imagine that, as we are with each other 24/7.
Well, everyone have a great day, and all you gals with children (still at home) and especially with little ones, have a fabulous Christmas, I miss those days.

LMAO at you Kimberly @wonder how limp it will go, hehehe. Funny, I have a client who gets really bad ingrown toenails. Her sister is a pediatrist, so she would go to her and have them cut out, with leftover nails looking horrid. Well, I have a special tool, and pride myself at removing ingrowns with minor pain and your toes look great! I have a handful of clients that won't let anyone else touch their feet. Well, I did clients toes for first time two years ago, and her sister hasn't touched her since!! Even while I was in treatment, she just dealt with her toes, or worked on em herself. She's my first ped when I go back in January, and says she can't wait!! Her sister is her twin, and fights with her about it everytime they get together, hehehehe.
Enough boasting, lol. When was your last chemo treatment? Mine was August 22nd, and I have been taking 5,000 mg of biotin daily with my other vitamins. Have about an inch of hair all over now. Have colored it three times, as it's about 50% grey, and when colored looks like there's more of it. I only wore scarves, but now that I have this amount of hair, my wig looks real, cause it blends with the real hair that sticks out on the sides. My DD had a friend over the other night, and I had my wig on. We went to dinner, came home, and I went and changed clothes and took off wig. I went into DD's room, and her friend wouldn't quit staring at me. I asked what was wrong, and she said,"why did you just cut your hair off, it just grew back!!" She really thought it was mine, lol. I will wear it for a few more months probably, cause I like longer hair on me. Go to Goldies page and watch her video ofn her hair growing back, very inspiring! She is my hair Diva!!
Well Dorothy, how they hangin?? Do tell!!! Hope you are happy! You deserve some very pwetty boobies!!
Want to ask you all a question about 3D nipples. Had not heard of them until someone mentioned them here, so looked them up on Google, and that's what I want!! My PS does not do them, I don't know if anyone around here does. How do I find out?? I looked for a forum on here, but couldn't find one.
OK, gotta go shower. Christmas breakfast at the neighbors @9:30. Making a breakfast casserole, which is baking now, and taking Mimosas, yum!! Also roasting some Garlic right now so it will be ready for dinner, soooo good to spread on bread!! Having that tonight after church. Tradition, we go to 5:00 service, then come home for dinner of shrimp cocktail for appetizer, then Jumbo King Crab legs, Fresh green beans, corn pudding, and french bread with olive oil and roasted garlic on the table for spreading on the bread!! My house smells so good right now, if u like garlic

Happy Christmas Eve girls!! Hope everyone has a blessed, fun day!!
0 -
Oopsy, bumped ya' Goldie! Good morning!! And FYI, we only do King crab legs Christmas Eve because it's just me, DH, DD, and my dad. Otherwise we'd have hamburgers, lol! JK

Oops foygot. We did make it out yesteday, and we got about another 6" of snow. Allison, I would give it all to you if I could!
Beans, thanks for all your help in keeping supplied with da likker. Let me know how things are over there, and if you need me to send anyting, ok?
Currently -8 here. Yes, that is 8 degrees below 0.
EDITED TO ADD....Allison, Kathy can help you with the tats. Gal she had does them for free (I believe) name is Earleen?
0 -
awww, Kimberly, I wish Santa could bwing you some hair for Christmas. Have you checked out wigs? Allison looks so pretty in her wigs and I know another gal, Kitty Kat who also wore them and they all looked so beautiful and natural. I was so lucky to escape chemo and I count my blessings. Sorry about Stella's typos. She was twying to tail you all dat her letter D was not woyking so she used de letter F instead. So now you will be able to easily read her posts by translating. hehehe.
Allison, you are doing so good, I am super proud of ya girl. And kudos to you with the pedi's! It does take a talent to do nails, especially toe nails. As for the 3D tats, I have also decided on those. There is a lady in the town where I work who also does them free for cancer patients. A friend of mine had seen a clip on the local news and I have the place saved into my favorites. I decided about a year ago that I did not want nipples. I love the freedom of going braless and don't want headlights, no thank you. Many gals have issues with the nipples including my sister. Her nipples sunk in, ick! The gal that Lori is referring to is in NC I think. I have heard about Earleen. Here is a toast to Earleen, cheerz!
Goldie, Stella loves her poyple hair, tanka ewe. Loved the redneck gingerbread house, very cute. I hope you have a great time cruising through all that snow. Be careful out there and stay warm. Yikes it is cold there. I was bitching and moaning yesterday that it was no longer in the 60's here lol. I was so comfy wearing just a tank top and ended up having to put on a sweat shirt which made the girls hurt. And damn, I lost me dwugs! I wanted to take a half of a percocet last night as my belly was throbbing and I can not find them. I was on a cleaning mission and have no idea where I put them. I have searched my house. Damn, I can be such a chemo brain at times and this is without chemo! I have called St. Anthony for assistance.
I have not yet unwrapped the ace bandages, just woke up after another great night sleeping. I can not believe that I have been such a good goil but have you ladies to thank. Some gals could come here and lie but I know that the hawk would know if I fibbed plus I am known to be overly honest with things. I can not wait to see. My stomach is a sight for sore eyes. I took a photo for my BC journey album and the belly is so swelling, the pic looked similar to my infected tittys I had during my journey. Anybody wanna see? hehehe!
lol at Kimberley's bf's foot fetish, "wonder how lip it would go" hehehehe, good one!!
Cheerz all, I will be back after de unwrapping and de big reveal. Stella is sooooo excited. We are going to have breakfast then get out of this mummy wrapping!! Yippeeeee!!

Oooooohhhhhh DorK, Best of Luckie with da reveal!!! Hoping they are GR8, but I feel like they really will be good this time. Let us know!!!
Got up sad, as DD and family left for TX....such a short visit and she and I are very close, so it always makes me sad to say goodbye (she is the one I am taking to Madeira, as I took my older DD several yrs ago). They have a long drive today (10-12 hrs), so prayers would be appreciated. Then her bday is the day after Christmas!
Cute pics Lori!!! Never seen a redneck Gingerbread house....lol. Glad you got to town and back, safely. Have fun in Laughlin!!!
Allison, Yes, I am the one that mentioned the 3D tatts here. I went to Earleen in Asheville, which is such a beautiful, fun city! She is a LOVELY gal, and does tatts free for bc pts, in memory of her mom. You can give a donation though, worth it to give $100 or so, as they would cost a LOT more if you had to pay for them. And I think she does a fantastic job. I need a retouch, but haven't had time yet to go back. When she invited me to be an aerola model so she could train someone else, I couldn't go, as weather can be bad going thru the mountains in Jan. But she got enuf volunteers very quickly! She used to post here, not sure if she still does, but I will get her info and send you a PM. If that is too far for you to go to, she could prolly give you references. I actually showed mine to Stanzie, as I was so proud of them! Used to be a flasher in my other life.....NOT! Just thought of something.....would be neat if we both went to her at the same time, as I really do need the retouching! But I do highly recommend her.
HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE, all you LOVELY LOUNGETTES!!!
Kathy, Wahine, Wahine de Machiney, WaWa, Katrinka, Katrinka de Dwinka, Raquelle Leather Rock, Slot Whisperer.......ummmmmm I am prolly missing some names here! LOL.

YAY Dork. This really is exciting. I would be celebrating too.
I know exactly what you mean, Kimberly. A year ago, my hair was at a very awkward stage. I looked great in uber short, but then a period of about six months when I looked less than wonderful. And of course, I have no patience for these things. Then suddenly, everything got better. Hang in there.
I need a cut, but can't bear to trim anything off yet. The hair from my crown now covers my ears, so tons warmer.
I need to get my sorry hide out there and do a ride. I think just a trail as still dragging a bit from the creeping crud. I am over it, but not quite back at full energy.
I got a peek at the newly-renovated nave of our church yesterday....."Druid fertility rite" is how I would describe it at this point. I am hoping that I get a mystical experience tonight, or I will be spending time in the chapel which is just a gem, and very traditional. Or it may look different by candlelight. We shall see. Hmmmmmm.
Anyway, this is a very special Christmas for me....and I am off to experience all the wonder and joy. Wishing all of you the same. - Claire

Wow Lori, that's COLD!!! Yuck! Hope you have a nice big fireplace to relax by!!
Dorothy, I will keep checking in to see how the big reveal went. Can't wait!! We are back from neighbors breakfast now. Had a mimosa, then a bloody Mary, then they sent me home with this gin slushy thing that's quite tasty. DD is still over at neighbors, and DH is yelling from the upstairs asking pretty Pwease for a special Christmas Eve present, but me waaaaay to full of food and cocktails to be naughty right now. He has shopping still to do, so he can do that and hope he's been a good boy a lil bit longer, hehehe. I am parked on the couch until 4, when I will get ready for church, so will check in often for the update.
Kathy, that would be great if I could get the info!! How awesome! And I don't see why going to NC would be a problem. Would love to contact her before I go to see my PS on Jan 4th, just to have my ducks in a row, cause he can be a little intimidating.
Be back in a bit!0 -
Allison, I sent you the info via email. She really is awesome!

Hello goils, well I am unwrapped! I now know why my back was so uncomfortable, the ace bandages were all kinds of twisted back there. I guess it was hard for them to wrap me pretty given I was dead weight at the time. Aside from some bruising and swelling, I love the implant. The side that had the revision looks a little scary but that is covered in surgical tape which is pulling up as I bled through the tape. For now, I put a gauze pad there to keep it clean and just put on the surgical bra, thinking about going out to purchase some surgi tape but hate the thought of going out in the crowds and standing in line at the pharmacy. And damn it, I still have not found my pain meds. I have spent so much energy tearing my house apart and trying to think where the heck I put the bottle. The boobs are a little sore from changing bras a few times. I have about six surgical bras going from size 34-40. They seem to run really small but I guess they are supposed to be tight. I am going to change again into the 40 but want to let the girls relax a bit first. Overall, I am just thrilled to pieces yet still fear infection or rejection. I really wish my PS had not told me that I was still at high risk.
Allison, your poor DH, I hope you make it up to him tonight. How awesome would it be for you and Kathy to meet in Asheville? I think I was there as a child, isn't that the place with the beautiful mansion that has been in many movies? Anyway, wish you all the best with the 3D nips. For me, more cutting and stitching are out of the question and I was thrilled to find such a thing exsists.
Kathy, I hope your sadness leaves and that you can just relax and now enjoy Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
Claire, tisk tisk tisk, I do not think you should be exercising if you are not feeling 100%. I am the one that should be working it today haha, jk, I am not in any shape to do anything other than what is necessary.
NM, where ya been? I miss ya! Seems like forever.
Scuby, Merry Christmas! When do you come back home? I have PS appointment on Tuesday and would love to see you. You are looking great lady, your face is so radiant in the photo, I loved seeing you and NM gleeming with joy!
Karen, I hope you found the missing computer thingy, sorry can't remember what it is called. Sure hope your laptop does not crash. I am awaiting a doggy update on Misha. Cheerz!
Well I am going to give up on the pain pills and take an Advil then have a nap. At least I will be able to dwink more and not worry so much about liver damage from doing both.
CheerZ girls and lots of Christmas Peace, Love and Joy ♥
DorK and company

Oh SO glad it is looking good, DorK! yay! I am sure the other side will heal well too, and look fantastic. Good thing you are wearing the surg bras...I was never given any or told to wear them, but with all the surgeries you have had, I think its good to use as much caution as possible. Hope you find your meds, or at least you can nap with the Advil.
We have church, then simple meal at my DD's house, but just being lazy today! Still feeling down, so might end up taking something. Prolly letdown after all the work, and then it was over.....and also didn't do half of the things I wanted to do. Tonight at church, I am sure the real reason will shine thru, I esp love the candles we hold at the end, and sing Silent Night while church is dark, and we exit silently. Very meaningful. Wanted to share the beautiful wreath my youngest DD made for me, and it is HUGE! I am hanging it INSIDE. I really love it.....

Merry Christmas everyone!

Yeah Dork! So glad you are happy. Maybe the Dr telling you you are at high risk is a good thing, as a little fear may keep u from overdoing. Course, you have Stella and Mr. Big keeping u in line, lol.
Kathy, that is a beautiful wreath! Your DD is very talented! And we do the same thing at our church, at the end all holding candles singing silent night. Does put you in the spirit, remembering the reason for the season!
So excited about the 3D nipples! The pictures I checked out are great! Well, DH is home, and we have an hour before leaving for church. Gotta go. Catch ya later!0 -
