GOILS, happy Sock MONkey-DEY! and Wahine, tanks for having a partay, I need that. I had a beautiful Christmas. Lunch was great then off to my sisters home for dinner. I hope all ye goils bad a berry blessed dey yesturdey.  I missed you goils so much.. not feeling so good, been sleeping all dey long. Still have not found me full bottle of pain pills and took everything I had left from prior surgeries. Me is sad, want to partay on dis monKEYdey, hoping I am not coming down with something. I have a sore throat, was tinking it was from de tingy to breathe but it is not getting bettah. Me started sneezing after having de smashed potatos with pepper for lunch. Prayinhg it is nothing, I see de doctor tomorree but in de meantime, me will be parked at de percotini machiney next to de hammock and de JD w/honey fountain me had Mr. Big bwing for me and all to share. Tank God for dat. And tank God for all de likker in dis world, it nebber runs out. BARMEN!

Having Chardonnay right now, celebrating Monkey Day, DorK day, and whatever else! DD Just came in from riding her bike she got for Christmas. The ONLY thing my DH had to buy was a bike from Santa. Aubrey had said she wanted a bike like her friend Allison's. Well, Ray knows the bike, talked to her dad, and went shopping. 21 speed very nice bike, BTW. Well, a week after shopping, my DH calls to tell me he's narrowed it down to three bikes. He wants me to go with him, wants my opinion. I was maxed out with work, cooking, cleaning, oh yeah, and surgery, plus wrapping and shopping...anyway, told him to just get THE SAME BIKE as Allison's, and that would be right. Christmas Eve, we get DD to bed, and he brings in this big ass MFn bike, big enough for me!! I thought I would die!! He says "She'll grow into it." WTF??? REALLY???? So, being as there was nothing else to do, we printed out a note from Santa that said he knew she wanted a Bike like Allison's, so hope this was the right one. We said in the note that he had sent an Elf to report back on what type of Bike. Well, she gets up Christmas morning, sees this bike and note, and says "This doesn't look like Allison's bike, this looks like HER MOM'S bike!!!!! He takes her out to try and ride the damn thing, and she comes back in a few minutes later with cuts and bruises all over herself!! I could have killed him!!! I reminded him of the year I asked for a strand of floating pearls, they were spaced out on a clear wire, very cool. What did I get? A full Fn strand of Pearls I NEVER wear!! When you ask for something specific, you do that because that's what you want!!! OMG! Anyway, took the bike back today with DD. Told her that the Elf must have seen Allison's mom's bike and thought it was hers, so we found a bike store who deals with Santa and was willing to switch it out. All is well now, Thank God! And my DH still has two legs, lucky guy! Plus I found a bike that he's going to take me back to get. See, trying to be cheap is just ending up costing him more.

Anyway, back to the party!! Yes, The Blackberry Bourbon is homemade, and I will have some more of that later. Have been hardly able to walk all weekend. Today was two weeks since hysterectomy, and follow up is tomorrow. Well, keep feeling like I have to pee, have pressure, PLUS been itching down there like crazy. Swollen too, so called today and DR called me back, said sounds like a bad yeast infection (YUCK) and maybe a UTI. She called in a pill and some soothing cream (AAAHHHHH) thank goodness. Will do a urine check tomorrow. Hmmmm, was that TMI?? lol

OK, gonna go put on my new jammies, wash my face, and curl up on the couch. Will check back in a bit!

OMG Allison, will men EVER learn? What a hassle, when you DID tell him what she wanted. Glad you found a Santa-exchange shop (he, he) that exch the bike with no problems. ANd so funny that now your DH needs to go back and get YOU a bike too.....payback sure is a beyotch isn't it???? LOL.

Allison, OMG, your DH is lucky to have his mr big parts not messed up, damn. It looks like the communication breakdown was between Allison dad and your DH. Hmm, does Allison Dad's dwink? Let's blame him. Men can be soooo stupid at times "she will grow into it", wtf is the word. You are a true hero for not taking the balls of his tree! This will be a great story in years to come, but how sad for you going through that. thank God for bike stores that have a contract with Santa, how cute. Little ones are so adorable at Aubrey's age and also resilient, she is probably on a cloud with her new cool bike jest like Allison's but newer! I hope her boo boos are not too bad. I remember when banana seats were the in thing. I asked Santa for a bike with a banana seat and what did I get? A new seat for my old bike. It looked really stupid but I really did not know, I felt cool anyway cuz I had the seat I wanted. I told my sisters they were jealous of my "new" bike. I remember shining my old bike after Dad put the new seat on! I was about 12 at the time. I guess things were bad that year for Santa but I was clueless. Happy birfdey to your brodder, cheers, I will have one in his honer. I hope you feel better, ya poor thing. I will join you for a pity party!
