Oh Allison, I just saw this. SO GLAD you went ASAP to the hospital. Sending prayers your way, along with gentle comforting hugs. Are you there by yourself? Unde is right, they should be able to give you something to dissolve the clot. Sometimes you have to lie still for awhile (I think). Just very thankful you went to be checked out, and praying it all will be resolved quickly.

Ok girls, uPdating from iPhone. Everything was clear, thank god! Thank you for all of the prayers. I just went into urgent care thinkIng they would X-ray my leg, tell me if anything was wrong, then send me on my way. Scared the hell out of me when he said it could be a blood clot and I had to go to hospital!! My girlfriend picked me up and took me, Ray met us there. They really aren't sure what is causing the pain, but at least there's no clot!! Ray is with Aubrey now, going to pick up something for dinner, and I am going to pick up my car, go home, take muscle relaxer and put leg up, drs orders. Hell, I can't put any weight on it! Will get back on when I get home and situated. Love u girls, thank u for being there.

What a crazy day. I literally thought, " what the hell, go get a free X-ray to see if you've injured something, deductible is met, why not?" so was COMPLETELY taken back when he said they were sending me to the hospital to rule out a blood clot!! Soooo scary! But after the catscan I was waiting for the Doppler, had my iPad and could only think of you girls, so that's when I typed first post. DH and DF were like "what are you doing, sending email? You might have a blood clot!" I told them I had to talk to my Breasties or else......
Anyway, didn't mean to cause drama at the HTL, this is a party place, right? I will leave now and let y'all party without me tonight, as I am mentally probably even more than physically exhausted. TTYL0 -

Yes, Mrs. Vino, this is a party thread, but we can be serious when need be. So glad there's no clot! Not fun to be in pain and not be able to walk, though. The drugs should be kicking in about now and with some rest the pain should get better quickly. Did they find any reason for the pain? Like a pulled muscle or something? That's bad enough but better than a clot.
Phew, I'll be able to sleep tonight knowing you are going to be ok.

Agree with NM and others that despite this being a party thread, we are all here for another reason and it is great seeing all the love and support for Allison.
Allison, we all have each others back here. I had an urgent email from one of you telling me to check into the lounge. I had to leave right after that for dinner but asked one of my bwesties to text me with any update. I was elated when I got the great news that there was not a blood clot. So much in fact, that the 12 of us actually toasted you! Life is just so precious. Sad story out of the town I was raised in, a young man, aged 21 jumped off the bridge last night, very bizzare story.
Dinner was awesome. I have never spend so much time with my parents when they come here as I am usually working long hours. Today, I was grateful (for a lickity split) for BC when I realized this. I would love to get to Myrtle Beach one more time before my return to work but it would be very difficult for my DD to commute to care for our doggies.
Karen, so happy you found your scarf. I agree that you can win your new doggies love over your DH with treats!! Just don't get caught hehe. Just remember to take any extras out of your pockets. My dogs have been known to pull my robe off the hook and another time a jacket from the back of my kitchen chair and chew the pockets when I left treats in there. Bad bad doggies. Thankfully, I can sew and havce a nice machine.
Dinner with my parents, my family and close family friends was awesome. I am having my parents again for lunch tomorrow then we will go for a movie. Mom was great tonight, very sharp. We talked about having them move back to NJ, Dad is again listening.
Time for a toast to all me goils here. I got my JD and just took a half a percocet (doctor replaced lost pills, thank God).
Here is to Allison and de rest of de loungettes, love you all and WANT anyone here with a serious problem to come to the lounge. Our purpose is much greater than drining, the drinking is just a big plus.

KAREN-I believe it was red wine you were drinking. *****NM-I tried a friend's recipe for kahlua and didn't like it. Maybe you have a better one,care to share?*****DORK-I liked my PS but concerned she doesn't know enough. She thinks I could go home the day I get the te's placed. Like an outpatient thing and from everything i've read you usually stay several days. And she didn't feel my losing/gaining weight would affect the implants. Most people say weight gain or loss makes them gain/lose too. Although I don't see how that's possible since implants have no tissue. Other than that she sounded knowledgeable and was very nice. I could go in feb and be done by late july just in time for my b-day. New,bigger better boobs for my b-day! What could be better? Still wondering if I should interview more or take the first one I meet. Hmmm......and sadly I was not drinking but almost as good-shoipping! Just got home so let the drinking begin!
