Mema...sorry to hear that your DD is in the hospital...hope all is well in no time....

Scuba....gald all went well with your surgery....

Not sure whose pic is with the short hair....but you look fantastic....why would you want to cover up that could hair!!!

Feels likes it been a long day today....DD had to walk home (was okay with her since I'm too far to get her on mondays and DH is out of town)...then had to take her to babysitting job and run to the store....home an hour, drop off dinner for a family who just had a baby, pick up DD and go to science fair...then home and make home made pizza for dinner (had pizza dough in the freezer)....now relaxing....Tomorrow will be even longer....I have to leave early tomorrow morning to run an errand before work and then have a 7:30 meeting.....going to sneek out at 2:30 for 1/2 hour to pick up DD and give her ride home then go back to work for a 3:15 staffing and then class from 4:15 - 6:15....DD is going to make dinner...she will have it ready when I get home....have the fixins for baked pasta so that is what she will make....DS will be home from work soon after I get home....Tonight I still need to walk the dogs and then do my homework for my class that was actually due yesterday at 4!!!

My side/back is still bothering me....its 4 days now....now sure what it is or what I did.....I figure I will give it the 2 week test......I see my onc the latter part of Feb....part of me says to just wait to then but DH thinks I should just go see PCP if it keeps up.....stomach is also bothering me....some times it hurts (like tonight) like period cramps.....I haven't had one in going on 6 years (since I started chemo) and don't have the plumbing....was on my way into menopause before Dx, so would be here anyways.....Anyone ever have these type of symptoms?   Need to keep up on the ibuprofen.....

Will cheer everyone with a cyber glass or two of red wine....not sure that I want one in real time...Sweet dreams.....Karen

question for the newbies....one of the S/L therapists I work with is having a biopsy this week...wondering if I should give her the bco info....part of me says yes, but another part says no, that its too much info this early on....results could be b9.....I gave her my home and cell phone and told her to call me for anything...offered to go with her to biopsy....but that only works if its TH or F.....don't think I can take off work...and not sure that she would call me anyways...this is our first year working together and I only work with her one day/week, so we don't really know each other all that well...but heck...she is going thru this......thanks...

Two Scottish nuns had just arrived to the US by boat when one said to the other, "I heard that the occupants of this country actually eat dogs."
"Odd," her companion replied, "but if we shall live in America, we might as well do as the Americans do." Nodding emphatically, the mother superior pointed to a hot dog vendor and they both walked towards it. "Two dogs, please," said one.
The vendor was only too pleased to oblige and he wrapped both hot dogs in foil. Excited, the nuns hurried over to a bench and began to unwrap their 'dogs'. The mother superior was first to open hers, then, stared at it for a moment, leaned over to the other nun and whispered cautiously, "What part did you get?"

Thanks Bernie! It's early your Twos-day! Needed the laugh. Hope all is well.

Karen, just my 2 cents, I think I would have been okay on BCO if I got very specific forums to visit. Otherwise, would have worried myself to pieces (and had been through this with my older sister!). Think you did a lot by volunteering your experiences.

Wahine, ROLL Tide! Hope you and DH had a good bet on that one, what an a$$-whooping! Watched the whole thing. Unfortunately, hurting lil mess right now, percs not helping too much. Gave up on bed. Yes Lori, got the big girl panties on, hoping things ease overnight.

Happy Twos-Day to youse all! Lisa

OMG what an awesome game. For those that didn't watch it, BAMA stomped LSU, 21-0!!! We had just a small group in the VIP room, and only 1 LSU fan. Well, my DH had a small bet w the LSU fan, and when the game ended, he called my DH an A$$hole, and stomped out. WTH??? We were all shocked, as all of us tried to downplay the win so they guy wouldn't feel so bad...wanted to yell when they scored, but we kept it on the downlow. ANYWAY was nice to have the VIP room with just a few of us there, and a cocktail waitress bringing us whatever we wanted to drink, and someone came in with the food, really nice! Had toooo much champagne and then crown royal.....ROLL TIDE!!!

And so glad our Scuby Doo has some new DooDads, I mean Boobs! Wish the pain would go away quickly, but glad you made it through surgery okay!!! SO happy for you!!

Oh Bernie, Love the hotdog joke!!!! How is your new furbaby doing??? Such a cutie.

Karen, that is our ALlison (Mrs_Vino) in the picture...isn't she gorgeous!!! Sounds like you are working sooooo hard! I would wait and give that gal the bco site info only if the biopsy shows cancer. LIke Lisa said, could be very overwhelming. NIce you are there for her! You might want to call your dr if that pain doesn't go away in a few days....don't wait too long!

Alli, I was talking about you tonight, were your ears ringing??? A gal watching the game with us is a nail tech, as well as a nurse....so I told her about ICONS, and she thought that was so neat! Nice of you to watch the game!!! My DD and I were texting during it, as she is such a big fan.

Luv your MonKEy picture for MonKey dey, Dork! SO cute.

NM, glad you had a chance to pop in, even though you are sooooo bizzy!!!!

Well, it is almost 2 am and we just got up to the room so will say night-night to everyone! NIght night nerdy John Boy, night night ho-ing Elizabeth, night night Moon......

Awwwww Lisa, wish the meds were helping u feel better. Throw a Benadryl in the mix every time u take a Percocet, awesome little cocktail, trust me! Hope it helps! Sending Mr. Big over to rub your feet and pants and jock will take turns rubbing your head, playin with your hair, til u fall asleep.

Wahine, what a sore loser that guy was!! WTH?? And they did give LSU an a$$ whipping!!

Karen, hope u feel better today. I'm with Lisa and Kathy, let's hope your friend has negative biopsy. If not, we will be here, but baby steps right now.

Bernie, love the pic of Calva. Bet she curls up in your lap like that. Soooo sweet.

    Happy Twos Dey!

Good morning, Loungettes! Got lots of sleep last night and yesterday and I feel much better today. Looking forward to taking a long walk with Sadie to get the blood moving and tucker her out so I can get some house work done without her "helping."

Mrs. Vino--I was so tired that I would have slept through World War 3 yesterday, so no need to whisper. I'm thinking about Scuby, too.

DorKy--I didn't realize it was a full moon weekend, no wonder it was so crazy! Gotta start keeping better track of that!

Yeah for Lisa being home! Sore is treatable, just need good drugs! Hooray for CLEAVAGE!

Scuby! Glad all went well, take your good drugs, the tenders have moved the percotini fountain where you can reach it without getting up. Rest up, send pics soon!

Karen--I'm with you, that lady in the pic looks wonderful! Looking at her pic I would assume that she chose a short hair cut to complement her face, it does not look like a "chemo cut" at all. How do you keep up with all your obligations? You need a full time administrative assistant to help you keep all that organized and under control! When do you rest???? I know how the worry comes with aches and pains; if you're really worried call the onc or the PCP. If you're not so worried, the 2 week test is a good way to go. Sometimes just calling the office and hearing the nurse say it doesn't sound serious is enough to calm the worry.

Karen-- I would give your co-worker the BCO site info, there is a whole sections for "Not Diagnosed But Worried" that would be really helpful.

    Bernie!!! LOL!!!

Wahine--A VIP room? The world finally figuring out how important you are? Good for you! Glad you had a good time.

Bernie--Calva is ADORABLE!!!!! What kind of doggy is she?

Princess Glitter Sizzle says the DOTD is The Fast Recovery (for Scuby)
    3/4 oz Coffee Liqueur
    1 tsp Irish Whiskey
    1 tsp Irish Cream
    1/2 pint Guinness Stout

Pour Kahlua coffee liqueur into a shot glass. Top with Bailey's irish cream and Jameson whiskey. Drop the shot glass into a half-pint of Guinness, and consume immediately.

Mema, praying all will be ok with your daughter, please let us know a.s.a.p.

Beans, you are feeling better now sweetness?

NM, hope you got caught up on your rest. Ahhhhh, I see you did! All bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning....you and Sadie enjoy your walk. Not so sure about enjoying the housework tho!

DorK, Stella is CUTE, cute as a button. Luv you monkeys.

LOL...........cheers to cleavage! Yaaaaaa Scuby! Take care of yourself. Sorry the perco's aren't helping, damn. Sure hope today is better for you. I don't think Big Girl Panties work too well for pain, but I guess you can try them. Just hate that you are in pain, but hate that for any of us. Sorry for the rough night, maybe a nap today with benadryl?

Also laughing at MrsV for offering to share her nip pics! And her BANGlish! It's BEANglish Alli, and you are doing a fine job. I want to see what your iPad is saying! Free Willie?   Glad you were there last night making sure the Tenders were taking care of her. You were on a roll and had me cracking up this morning.

Karen, sorry you are still hurting. I would just go to the doctor, why wait til Feb? That is MrsV with the short hair.

Oh no Bernie, that was cute with the dogs and nuns! Such a cute pic of Calva, but I bet he doesn't fit in that bed for long?

Kathy, too bad about the sore loser, bet you wish you didn't keep it on the DL now!

Grabbin me 2 Fast Recoveries (it is Twosday) and will consume immediately, as the directions indicate! ROLL TIDE!

I do not know how I would have fared if it werent for all of you cheering me along through out this past year. Today is the day my life changed forever and although it is not how I wanted it to go down I am stronger I am wiser I am more patient and thoughtful. I will always try to reflect on this year with focusing on the positives that came from it. I found me .

Yay Kymn... Happy 1 year Cancerversary! I esp love your last comment "I found me"! You have gone through so much this past year, and to be able to be thankful . for finding "yourself" is just awesome. And you have helped so many on this thread too. Sad you had a reason to find us here last year, but very happy to have you a part of the HTL! You rock girl, and 2012 should be a good year for you, with new discoveries, and new experiences, and the "New You"!

NM, I didn't realize it was a full moon weekend either! Love your post and DOTD! I will dwink the Fast Recovery dwinks for Scuby, and also I need a bit of recovery from all the dwinks I had last night. My bad.

Scuby, Enjoyed being in Philly, and seeing your hunk of a doctor in person! Sorry for the pain you are still having, but  you got thru the surgery and have your new Boobs, and everyday the pain should be less. Can't wait for your "reveal;" tomorrow! Yay!!!

Yeah Sue, how is your DD? We are all very concerned for her, and hope you get a chance to let us know how she is doing.

Such a cute pic of Calva, Bernie!!!!

Love you all, but got up late (ended up sick last night....my fault!), and gotta get dressed and check out of this casino shortly and into the next one. Thank God for late checkout, as otherwise we would have to be out NOW! Read all the posts, and want to comment more, but gotta get my butt in gear. Glad some of you got to watch the game last night....

    ROLL TIDE, ROLL!!!!

Hi Babes.  Calva is a little girl - for now.  She is a Dogue de Bordeaux (after the region, not the wine). which ia a French Mastiff.  Full grown she should weigh between 7 - 8 stone.

Anyone seen the movie - Turner and Hooch with Tom Hanks?   That's my girl.

My computer was hacked earlier but all ok now. Grrrrrrrrrrrr

I would love to use "stones" instead of pounds when I have to mention what I weigh!! From what I can gather, NM, 1 stone equals 14 pounds.

    Hi goils,

Kymn, happy cancerversary! I loved the attitude in your post today. Keep up the good work. I am proud of you and just know that things are going to get better for you.

Bernie, your puppy pic is awesome, she is adorable. Give her some kisses from me and my fur babies.

Scuby, I hope you are feeling better tonight. I've been thinking about you all day.

Kathy, thanks for popping in, so glad your team won last night. Funny story about the loser walking out with out putting up the money for his bet. What a loser!  Hope you are feeling better.

Allie, you were on a roll last night, I had to laugh when I read your Beanglish, gwate yob goil! You really do look beautiful with the short hair. What color did you use on it? And can wese see photos?

NM, really enjoyed your post. Love the pic to Karen of the lady multi-tasking, so funny.

Lori, thanks for your kind words about Stella, she does not feel too purdy these deys.

Karen, hope your pain is going away. If it persists, PLEASE call your doctor.

Beanie, I hope you are feeling better too.

I have not had a good day. I woke up feeling very light headed, no idea why. I was not feeling good at dinner either. My sister came today to clean and DH made the three of us dinner. I lost my dinner within and hour and my people say I am looking quite pale. And sadly, I am dwinking virtually...boooo hooooo!!!  I am feeling a little better now but my stomach is still sour.  i did check my temp and it was normal but my blood pressure is elevated, not quite sure why but that would explain feeling dizzy. Sorry to rant and not have the ability to get dwunk but mese has to work soonly and has to git feeling better.

Hope to hear some good news from our Sue. I have been praying for your DD and also for our Scuby. Then the usual "general prayer" for all my bwesties. Have a good night, I think I am going to lay down and enjoy my clean house!! Yippee to that.

Can someone have some dwinks fer me? Dat would be gweatly apporciated.

    Hugs,

    DorK

    Hugs to all you ladies!
