Good morning, Loungettes! Pretty calm weekend, only 4 more minutes then I can turn the phone off. The temp has warmed all the way up to 8 degrees since I got up to put on the coffee a while ago. Bright, clear sunshine, though. Got a nice surprise last night. Remember my friend with lasagna privlidges? He and another friend got together to make dinner yesterday and on his way home my Lasagna friend dropped off some 4 cheese baked ziti and some soup they made, I don't have to cook today! I already ate the garlic bread, yummy yummy!

Scuby-the new foobs match the bra? Well, you did look very put together when we met, so I'm sure you have bras to match every color the new foobs will show as they heal! A beer brewed with expresso beans? Now that's MY kind of beer! I wonder if I can find a bottle of that round here? Gonna half to look. Bundle up and keep the foobs warm! And DON"T OVERDO!!!!!

Karen-first, there is nothing wrong with taking an ambien or Ativan to help you sleep. Second, stopping them cold turkey usually causes a rebound effect, making insomnia worse. That being said, knowing that you need to stretch out your supply, you might try taking an ambien one night, nothing the next, an Ativan the next, nothing the next and see if you get enough sleep overall to stay functional and not too blue. I have resorted to buying meds off the internet at a no-prescription-needed site from time to time when I was in similar circumstances. I don't normally suggest that approach, but it you are buying a med you are already familiar with you'll be ok. Sometimes we just need to go around the system to get what we need without putting up with things (appointments) we don't need. Hooray for DD's one regular customer, a girl's got to start somewhere! Now she can start building a reputation and more customers will come her way!

NM.....I haven't stopped the Ambien or Ativan cold turkey....just don't take them every night....but even the first night without them and I am compromised in the sleep dept....Ativan didn't do anything for me last night....actually I do the best with the 1mg Ativan and 10mb Ambien....the CR used to be the best but it no longer does much for me.....DD's regular babysitting gig is after school a couple days/week....it is the best recommendation you can get....our Rabbi!!!  she actually has a great reputation, its just that there are sooo many girls here age in our synagogue...girsl between grade 7 and 10....probably 10!!!  and she is a substitute in the youth program in synagogue where she gets paid......She's babysitting this morning...not sure how long...the Rabbi is giving the invocation at the MLK march/parade this morning....she is saving a good amount of what she makes.....No plans on the calendar today....so whatever she wants to do this afternoon....I still have a couple reports to write before tomorrow for work.....and do you think I'm doing them now....no I'm here....

Spinner....I also struggle reading the beanglish/drunk speak, so often I just skip over it....too hard for me to figure out....takes me so much longer to read....I know I miss a lot, but its just too frustrating to me....The year I was Dx, I had my 2nd chemo the 1st day of Passover.....talk about an interesting 2nd sedar!!!!  I was pretty much parked on the living room sofa and made it to the table a couple times for a few bites of food....and DD#2 was so upset she was in tears most of the time (she was just 8)....I didn't do any of the cleaning for Passover...don't remember who did....and we had meals cooked for us for all of Passover.....the day before Passover you should have seen the line of people bringing food over....we needed 3 days of food.....then it was one by one!!! that Passover will definitely go down in history!!!

My sinuses are a little better today....thats seems to be how it is....my back/side is still bothering me....just an annoyance....DH tells me I should get it checked out....told him that I am waiting till I see the onc the 3rd week in Feb.....I said he has a busy few weeks ahead and if G-d forbid its something, I don't want to be dealing with appts....also don't want to be dealing with it when going to see my folks next month.....DH says there is some benefit in not knowing!!!  I guess he knows about DaNile too......the pain is really hard to explain.....its more just something that is there....its not like if you touch it that it hurts worse.....its just that I'm aware of that part of my body.....either its something or its nothing....

Dogs are sound asleep in the family room...at least Mischa hasn't started snoring yet.....they are so sweet....Mischa is supposed to get groomed today, but don't know what time....a friend of DS does the grooming...she has a regular job, but does her friends animals at her mom's studio which has moved to their garage...that way its extra money for her....and she gives us a good deal!!!

Hey all, hope youse have a good Twosdey! Having a bad time right now, still healing from exchange surgery last week but found out yesterday that the oopherectomy which was supposed to be tomorrow likely won't be. Although the surgeon gave me the date last month, apparently he didn't schedule it properly. So now I am just frustrated. Was only planning to work today and use the rest of the week to recover from both surgeries. Feel bad to whine but sometimes the medical folks are so cavalier about $hit. I now gotta replan my life for when this does happen, was just so ready to be done with the last step. The office is only 3 blocks from my office, am going over there if I don't hear from them early this morning. Thanks for listening, Mrs_Vino, will advise when I know the scoop.

NM thanks, needed the DOTD. I got a call directly from the surgeon at 8:15 am this morning. Some bs excuse about his scheduler being out, but, the good news is, I will get this done tomorrow. He is actually calling me to confirm the time. May be later in the afternoon tomorrow (bummer for fasting thing), but I don't care. This gives me today in the office to catch up, PT for exchange in tomorrow at 8 a.m. then last surgery tomorrow, then and on to healing. WTF, what a fire drill. I am much more direct in speaking to docs now. Had already gotten the Patient Advocate's name for hospital and was ready to contact them.

goldie--I"ll be glad to send pics, but I plan to use them in the fall this coming season, and then in the spring next season.  Around here, such things need to be planned in the fall to use in the spring unless I think of something between now and then!  I remembered I had your website when I saw a Mr. Drip mention on Fb, then couldn't find my post to let you know I found it.  With something like the water wall I could have had stuff going in the garden until just a few weeks ago!  Ah, well, next season. 

Scuby--glad you're still getting done tomorrow, even if it is later.  Later is icky for the fasting thing, but better than next week in the bigger picture.  At least that's how I'd see it.  2 surgeries so close together are going to really knock you on your a$$, so be prepared to REST!!!!!
