Got overwhelmed at school after being in AZ but finally catching up. Just skipped straight to the last page. Chrissy, glad surgery is over and you are on the mend. Karen, I take 10,000 units of Vit D every other day, in addition to what is in my gummy calcium and gummy multi-vitamins. Mine was 17 6 months ago and now in the 40's I think. Going the right direction anyway. I didn't see the TV interview, but read about the "People Hate Me Because I'm Beautiful" woman. I was not impressed. I think she must be shallow and overbearing and rude, which is why no one likes to be around her, not because of her looks. Lots of uproar that's for sure!
Can't remember much else of what I read but here I am. Just catching up on my soap "Days of Our Lives" which I have watched since I was a kid, with my mom and grandma. Hate to admit that I've watched off and on for over 40 years!
Got ravioli/lasagna in the crockpot (loving the Pinterest site!) and it is starting to smell good. After not cooking for most of last year (stupid canser-deliberately spelled wrong) I'm slowly getting back in the routine. But not taking over entirely--it's great to have a husband who grills 10 months a year. It may not be fancy, but I didn't have to fix it!

Welcome back, Kristy! I didn't know calcium came in a gummy. I had to start gummy multis after the dr found my ulcers, and today when I asked if I could get back on calcium, he said NO, that is so hard on the stomach. BUT I bet your gummies would be ok, right??? Can you find them in the drug store? YEP, it is supposed to be a PARTAY night...Chrissy was the first to volunteer to organize it, and looks like Dorkie will pitch in, and Lori and NM already brought lots of food! Beans should be able to make sure the likker is stocked up, if she is back home. Woo Hoo....I want to celebwate wid youse all......let the party begin!!!

Bernie, I lubs dat yoke...will have to send it to some friends! AND your pwetty Easter cake reminded me of the fancy easter bonnets my mom used to make us. They had an "Easter Parade" at school, and the girls would parade around in our easter bonnets. One in particular (that my mom made me) was gorgeous and had so much on it. The little nest and chickies reminded me of it. Wish I had a picture of it!
Anyone hosting easter dinner at their home? I really SHOULD, but so tired after the trip, and procedure, that I am STILL "thinking" about it. Yesterday, after my coffee n sudokus n crosswords I walked cousins tread mill for 2 miles, then we both went shopping and out to lunch. Then we hung out with cocktails around her pool. 1st real 'lay out by the pool' kinda time I've had in over a year. Even got some color...heehee. Then we met with younger sister cousin n her husband for fish n chips...had me a 'prickly pear martini' mmm good. Tried to post the pic of my cousins and the martini...but not working. Oh well, promise to when I gets home to my own puter.
Dork, Husker, Bernie, Karen, Alli, Beans, Scoob, and all da other lubbily ladies...have a wonderful weekend, eat lots of bunny eggs, give thanks that you can...and kno I lub lub lub youse all!

Hi Goils,
I have finally caught up on reading after being so far behind. My internet is up, at least for now. I have NO idea why I have had so many problems but it is very annoying. I dwank a widdle too much last night and am laying low tonight.I partayed until 3 aye em and really had a nice time with my DH and another couple. We hung by the pool and had a fire. It was tooo windy for the fire but we lit it anyway.
I just logged in and worked for two hours but am now none until Tuesday morning, woooo hooo to no work. I decided to come in for one dwink before going to bed. I am traveling to Ocean City tomorrow for Easter Dinner with my sisters. It is supposed to be a nice day, we will probably ride bikes on the boardwalk as is a usual tradition for us on Easter. My DD has gone to spend Easter with her grandparents and my exhubby and I am puppy sitting my little grand doggy who is now sleeping in my lap, she jest cutliest. Funny ting, I actually call her cutliest when I talk to her, that started last weekend when she was here! She is stinking adorable and so full of energy. But when she is done playing, she is so docile and lovable. And she always smells so good. Unlike my furbabies who love to stink themselves up right after a bath.

NM, I hope de weekend is good with work. Glad to hear you had some good zzzzzz's. Sleeping well is such a treat and I know I am berry berry blessed with the ability to do so. I reduced my dose of effexir to 75 mgs from 150 and my sweats seem to have gotten wots better. I did not tail my doctor I did dat but oh well, I am a good doctor. Ha, reminds me of the line from the movie with Robert DiNero and Billy Crystal, Analize This. Dat was a funny movie.

A man was blissfully driving along the highway, when he saw the Easter Bunny hopping across the middle of the road. He swerved to avoid hitting the Bunny, but unfortunately the rabbit jumped in front of his car and was hit. The basket of eggs went flying all over the place.
The driver, being a sensitive man as well as an animal lover, pulled over to the side of the road, and got out to see what had become of the Bunny carrying the basket. Much to his dismay, the colorful Bunny was dead. The driver felt guilty and began to cry.
A blonde driving down the same highway saw the man crying on the side of the road and pulled over. She stepped out of her car and asked the man what was wrong.
"I feel terrible," he explained, "I accidentally hit the Easter Bunny and killed it. There may not be an Easter because of me. What should I do?"
The blonde told the man not to worry. She knew exactly what to do. She went to her car trunk, and pulled out a spray can. She walked over to the limp, dead Bunny, and sprayed the entire contents of the can onto the little furry animal.
Miraculously the Easter Bunny came to back life, jumped up, picked up the spilled eggs and candy, waved its paw at the two humans and hopped on down the road. 50 yards away the Easter Bunny stopped, turned around, waved and hopped on down the road another 50 yards, turned, waved, hopped another 50 yards and waved again!
The man was astonished. He said to the woman, "What in heaven's name is in your spray can? What was it that you sprayed on the Easter Bunny?" The blonde turned the can around so that the man could read the label. It said: "Hair spray. Restores life to dead hair. Adds permanent wave."

The local news station was interviewing an 80-year-old lady because she had just gotten married for the fourth time.
The interviewer asked her questions about her life, about what it felt like to be marrying again at 80, and then about her new husband's occupation.
... "He's a funeral director," she answered.
"Interesting," the newsman thought. He then asked her if she wouldn't mind telling him a little about her first three husbands and what they did for a living.
She paused for a few moments, needing time to reflect on all those years. After a short time, a smile came to her face and she answered proudly, explaining that she had first married a banker when she was in her early 20's, then a circus ringmaster when in her 40's, and a preacher when in her 60's, and now in her 80's, a funeral director.
The interviewer looked at her, quite astonished, and asked why she had married four men with such diverse careers.
She smiled and explained, "I married one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, and four to go.."

Dorkie, Just had a new Bud Lite Premium (hope I got that name right), and it was really good, more flavor than the regular lite beer. edit: Its Bud Lite Platinum. We sat outside with the dogs, and it is a beautiful day here too. Company is not arriving till around 5 pm, so might even have time to relax a bit! Enjoy Ocean City, it sounds fabulous!

Karen, so glad you are getting some help. I also take armour thyroid. It works better if u split your dose, take half in the am, other half around 4 or 5, on empty stomache. And don't take it a with dairy, it blocks absorption. Also make sure when your levels are checked in June that they check your estrogen levels, because testosterone can convert to estrogen. I sent you a few emails about the pellets, got mine placed Friday, said I should start to notice a relief of symptoms after 72 hours, so looking forward to that!

We dyed eggs, had a big egg hunt, and cooked out yesterday. Got up and went to the 8:30 early bird service this am, then went to our favorite brunch restaurant, Wild Eggs, and we're seated right away. When we left, I couldn't believe the people waiting, at least an hour or more wait. I had my favorite dish, "Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict" which is two green chili corn cakes, topped with chorizo, two poached eggs, and quest fundido, pico de gallo, sour cream, green onions, and avocado. OMG is it good! Aubrey had a burger and fries, and was in heaven because she gave up fries for lent.

Hi girls,long time no dwinking. To sum it up had a little setback w/Rumour (he's great now),busy sightseeing w/my sister then my lil bro and I got sick. Wasn't so bad at first then while babysitting my nephew(who was sick) I got worse. Coincidence as I felt it coming back the nite before I went to his place. Felt like chit friday,had zero energy yesterday. I'm usually like a mini tornado so when you see me napping at 3pm you know it's serious. Hopefully i'm REALLY over it this time. Now just preparing to move out and get my brother moved in this week. Busy week ahead but did want to check in w/my goils and thank you all for the good wishes for Rumie. Gave us a little scare but he's bouncing back pretty well. I will come back in for a drink on friday once my brothers arrive safely in Cali. Until then have a great week all,cheers!
