    Hi girls,

Love how we chase people away from here hehe!!

Bernie, lmao at your comment stats = stress, stress = BC. I love you Bernie, you do not say much but your few words are priceless.

KatyQ, welcome home! Sorry I missed having a night cap with you last night. I passed out early. I think Pants put me in my bed as I have no recollection of crawling there meself hehe!

Kay, liked your post too. And will add that 'this parade will walk over you'. While it is not a requirement to drink to be part of our exclusive gwoup of goils, it is highly recommended.

Kristy, a big congrats to you. I have a toast for you - cheers!

Lori, thanks for de DOTD, slurp slurp slurp.  Intersting name for a drink lmao! Thanks for your support last night. You made me feel better with the tele-hug you gave me. You so sweetliest. For tomorree, me wants a DOTD called whos gibs a flying F about stats!! tehe.

Beanie, check in if ya can. I miss you so much here. Don't make me stalk you.

Well goils, you will be seeing a lot of me over de next month or so. I am now off work until I am released from STD. Friday is my surgery. For those of you that need a refresher, my right foob (aka sheety teety #2) dropped outta its pocket so it will be more like a revison. I am not expecting this surgery to be too bad as compared to the many others I've had. This will be my 11th breast surgery and the 8th time under anestensia. Ironically, my surgery date of 5/18 will be the two year anniversary of the beginning of my journey, 5/18/2010 was the day I had my mammogram and the words "uh-oh" were first spoken. Then two weeks later is the two year anniversary of my offical diagnosis although I knew I was doomed after my biopsy. I really wish I knew you goils back then. I went through the first three soygeries without my bweast fwends, not sure how I did it but it is so comforting to know that you goils will be with me.

Alli, your surgery is Wednesday, is that correct?? I have come to realize that multiple surgeries are very common. I met a girl at my hairdressers who had a BMX 11 years ago and it took her 8 surgeries to get things right. I asked her if the pain ever ceases and she said yes! I now have hope for living without pain in my future.

It is a beautiful Spring day here. My DD is lounging by the pool reading a book. I was up early but then went back to bed and slept until 1pm! Oh I so lazy and love days like this. My house is a mess and my laundry is piling up. But the day is just too beautiful to spend indoors. So I am here at the HTL and dwinking some blue dwinks. My ex hub is coming down today to see us. I am glad he is getting away and hope he will join us for some sun and fun. I am a bit anxious over seeing him. I know I will give him a big hug of support and sympathy. The poor boy lost his Daddy this week. I forget who asked but there will not be a funderal. They are doing something very similar to what Junie's family did. There will be a memorial service but that is not until the 26th of this month. I am not sure if my MIL pushed out the date that far for me, knowing I am having surgery. I did ask my ex if he could ask him mother and brother to plan the service around my surgery. i know one of the reasons is that they have family that are as far away as Texas and wanted to give them enough time to book their flights in advance.

Well enuff said. I hope all my goils are having a relaxing and enjoyable saturdey! Cheers to all, and cheers to Blue dwinks!!

Yes, Dorothy, Joining you for Pau Hana, and raising my glass in memory of your dear, departed father-in-law. What an amazing man, and I know you all are hurting so much, after losing him. Here's to Poppy Klein....*ka-chink*...may he rest in peace, and may comfort come to those who love him dearly and are missing him so much.

Alli, yup we will ALL be there with you, I bet even Cyndie will join us. We have to tell her how we get all teeny-tiny, board the UFO or the Magic Party Bus and go right into the OR with you. Of course, we are dwinking too, and might pinch the heiny of a cute DR or Intern.....!

Glad you posted the link for Cyndie, Dorkie. And lets all drink to your FIL tonight, ok?

Hi girls...Dark Shadows was fun-not great-but fun. With Johnny Depp, how bad can it be?! No Oscar nods with this, except for maybe makeup or costumes or sets, but go see it for a great escape for a few hours! Even DS enjoyed it.

Wahine, In regards to LE, I have mild breast/truncal LE. Displays as redness, fullness, pain along braline. But am trying to focus on the positives of continued NED, 15 months out from surgery.

Going to a HS graduation party tonight for a short while then just DH and me tomorrow. Have to play at church (so no sleeping in, darn!) but then the day is mine. Hmmm...what to do. Probably will go get flowers and finally start planting. May 15 is our official no-freeze date but has been warm off and on for a month. With school out in a week and 2 days (not that I'm counting) will have time to attend to them properly.

Karen, we are going to Germany for nine days in July to see our former foreign exchange student and her family. May sneak in a short trip by myself to Oceanside/Carlsbad Calif area to see a dear friend from my childhood who just renovated a beach house. Also attending a national counselor convention in Minneapolis. Last summer I was finishing chemo and starting rads so only got one weekend at a lake between treatments. Am going to make up for lost time this summer I hope!

DUH! You already knew the answer to that one, Cyndie....lol. Yup, got a bar, plus we always have one of the Tattie Tenders to mix dwinks for us and take care of us in the UFO as well as the Magic Party Bus. We have Pants, Jock, Mr. Bigger (had Mr. Big, but he got married), Snow Job Boy, Eric.....ummmmm who else do we have, girlz? We also have 3 Wenches to cook, mix dwinks, take care of us, too. We jest git weally, weally, widdle, by magic. It just happens! We go to wherever a loungette needs us~!

Yes, Kristy, glad you are celebrating your dance with NED! YAY! Hope the LE won't get any worse, though. Where are you going to, in Germany? We love it there! Been to Munich several times (esp fun during Oktoberfest, with reserved table in a great tent!), and also stayed a week in the Black Forest (Freiburg (sp?)). Love it there! Plus ez drive into Austria and France and Switzerland. I am thinking of getting another week stay in Madeira, Portugal next spring....I really love it there! But most of Europe is so awesome. SO glad you have a neat summer planned!!!

    Wanine,

We are going to northern Germany, about 2hrs from Hamburg. Oldenberg is one of the towns, and Sandkrug. Munich would probably be too far; maybe Berlin though. Any thoughts for the northern area? With the Olympics it has really limited our options. PM me if y have suggestions, or anyone else with thoughts on German travel.

Guten Abend, Kristy! I haven't been to the northern part of Germany. Wish I could help. My DH was on a business trip to northern Germany once and they drove into Prague, Czeck Republic and that is one area he wants me to see. He really liked it there. If you haven't already, check with frommers.com or fodors.com and see what travel tips they may have for that area.

Cyndie, I'm a beer drinker too and a couple others too. Our Lisa (scubyduchess, I think that is her name) will post a BOTD (beer of the day) when she can, she is our beer connoisseur! (oopsy, I see Wahine already told that) I reply to individuals as I read.  As for the fatigue, I don't remember it being too bad when I was finished. I also think everyone is different. I just remember the end of the week being the worst, but a nap definitely helped. Vodka=Wodka here! Here is the link about our lounge. You will better understand after watching it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aA1oe_ER96s  Oh, I see DorK already posted it, thank you DorK, you are adorkable fo sho.

Oh dear Kathy (Wahine) that is kinda funny about your DH and drinking that beer and getting a headache! But I am sorry for the headache, of course. I am going to try and use screen names, until the new goils get used to all our nicknames. HUNK, Hunk is another Tender. Oh what sweet treats you have gotten for us all, and look at the pretty flowers and drinks. Thank you Dinka!

Dofey (DorothyK), I always laugh when I see you say something about your STD!!!!  Especially cuz I can't bremember what it really means. How ironic on your dates Dork, 5/18, hoping that it was the beginning and now hoping it is the end! And you are DONE with the rat bastard (RB) and it will never bother you again and no more soygeries or pain. I didn't find this thread until after I was finished with treatments too.

Alli (MrsVino) we shall all be there wif you on Tuesday. What shall we bring foy you to drink? As I am certain you will want something. And which Tender would you like for your "at home help"? Funny about reading your book twice. I liked Kathy's idea for one of the boys to read it to us!

Husker, sounds like you have a nice summer planned. Good for you girl. We always feel so deserving of that, after spending a year in treatments for the RB.

Oh Cydie, we call Dorthy, DorK, and "I'm sorry" is not allowed here. We do have rules!

Chrissy, sounds like you had the perfect day with your family. How's that knee feeling? Hope you didn't over do it. Yes, that Alli cat is a stinker!

I got a call from MemaSue, she got virus in her puter so she will be MIA for a bit, until she can get it bixed. Didn't want anyone to be worried and said to not open any emails from her.

Here you go DorK, DOTD "Whos Gibs A Flying F About Stats" and it even habs JD in it! And it's a weal dwink. Here is the link, if ya dunt beleeb me. http://www.drinksmixer.com/drink9175.html

    1 1/2 oz Jack Daniel's® Tennessee whiskey
    1 1/2 oz sambuca
Stir ingredients together in an old-fashioned glass, and serve.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to the best group of gals I know.

AND FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT DON'T HAVE CHILDREN....

AND HAVING A TOAST IN HONOR OF DORKS FIL. Cheers to Poppy Klein!!!

Hi ya Lori!  The knee is doing very well!  Everyone says that I am already walking waaaay better than before the op so it definately was the right thing to do.  I'm very conscious of not over doing and make sure I do a bit and sit a bit........lol.......that's pretty much the only rule I have to follow and even my old fuddled brain can follow them........lol.

Hiya Ladies! Crissy, so glad your knee is getting soooooo much better! And glad you had such a great Mothers Day! Ours is just starting here, and in a little bit we are picking up lunch to take to my mom's. Tomorrow I will take my mom and DD out for lunch at an awesome quaint tea house. So nice to have you BACK and out of that darn un-hospitable place!

Lori, Love all your tips and hints for Cyndie. I forgot about HUNK....oh how could I do that? Mebbe I needz a spanking from him........*wink*. DOTD sounds good, but I can't dwink sambuca cuz it tastes like licorice (I like red licorice, but not black). BUT so sweet of you to post that, and the Mother's Day wishes for us all. I was lucky and found this site while I was still deciding about tx and the gals on other threads convinced me to fire my horrid BS and I ended up with a fantastic one. What a lifesaver (literally). YEAH we do need storytime with the 50 Shades of Grey books.....woohoo!!! And of course, a lot of "microphones"...LOL.

LUV you all....have a WUNNERFUL day! Had an awesome Irish Coffee that DH made...he makes them soooooo good! Now to get dressed and get some lunch and go see my mom.

Mother"s Day Hugs to ALL you specual ladiez here!!

different mothers day date here, but I finished off last night with a nice bottle of red.  Sending everyone a drink from me.
