Youse is showing her a great time, and it sounds like she is lubbing it. Ya know, Ms. Dorkaroni lubs her Stella da mostest, so we can't let her get toooooooo attached to you! But Dorkie is so sweet to share her wid ebbery1, and mese tinks she likes de peace and quiet sometimes too (shhhhh....don't let Dorkie know wese knows she likes sum time away from Stella)! I jest got home from getting my hair colored and blown out. I was over a half hour late for mese appointment so I could not get the cut that I desparately need. My hair is getting quite long but I will have it cut next week. I always have nightmares about missing my hair appointment and oh boy, I nearly totally missed it. I SO HATE that my brain is so outta wack. I need to get it together quickly as I have to be sharp to be able to do my job. I am tinking I need to cut down on the day time dwinking! But todey is Saturdey so it is allowed hehe!!

Dorkie, THANKS for your window info, I had wondered what you chose. This salesperson was REALLY pushing the higher priced windows, so we are going to try that on one window in kitchen, at back of house. SO if we like it, I don't mind doing the back of house in the tinted windows. But didn't want it on the front, plus we get more sun hitting the back windows, and DH loves to look out at his birds, so maybe we won't need to have blinds down. Just doing 10 windoes now (one is huge with 6 windows in 1), and will do the others later. Can't tear the whole house apart at once! I don't know how you did that. Ok, back to his birds, I found the sign I bought him about 5 yrs ago....we got our yard certified as a wildlife habitat with the National Wildlife Federation, but I forgot to find a place for the sign....in the back yard of course.
Cyn Sounds like Stella is loving it there! I had to explain who the "moler foker" is, to my DH. Cause stupid me mentioned Stella was in FL...and of course he had met her in Vegas. So, with my foot in my mouth I had to elaborate a bit. LOL.
WooHoo Pau Hana time!!!! DOrk, are you wanting a refill? Pants is right on it! OH and he brought me anudder Seagrams too. Yay!!! OH, my parents are at their beach condo for the weekend, guess it was very stressful selling the house. BUT found out they hope I can come down for a MONTH. SO I am trying to get stuff done, as if I go for awhile, then when I get back, they will prolly follow me here, then the window installations, then my DD1 and her family will be here, then the cruise at the end of Aug. WHERE DID SUMMER GO???? LOL.

That Irene really messed tings up here in NJ last year but my home was spared. There was so much flooding around here along with loss of power in some areas for over a month! Many folks around me were hit hard. I was in SC bisiting my parents when it hit here but at de time, I had a temporary window in mese house. I wuz so tankful to have been spared damage from wind and floods.

Sorry you didn't get your hair cut....but at least you got all colored up!! I like the color I have not (was tooo dark at first, is brighter now), but would NEVER buy this brand again! It is STILL staining things. This morn, my DH thought I have been going to bed with makeup on (which I NEVER do), cuz my pillowcase is getting dark from my haircolor....sheesh!!!! Mine needs cutting badly too....hey, why don't we add a beauty salon to the HTL??? BTW, have you ever tried the Root TouchUp color? not hard to do, and might be good for you to have on hand in case you can't get to your hairdresser and de roots start showin.

Shoot, Juliet, Hope that storm doesn't hit your area! You too, Cyn! You both stay safe, ok? Cyn, glad the weather shouldn't get in the way of your DD getting there! And no, I don't live near the gulf, but at the top of the state, right below the TN line. We get the tornadoes! ANd you weren't on the thread then, but 2 yrs ago it hit our area really bad, some trees in our subdivision, but most damage was about 10-15 miles away. SO many died, and so many homes were destroyed. THEN last APril a tornado hit the SAME area! Some people had just gotten into their rebuilt homes, and they lost their homes again. The tornadoes 2 yrs ago (I think killed about 200 in the state? Might be wrong, but somehow that sounds like its right), put ALL our power out, several counties. SO we had no way to get gas, even Walmarts and all other stores were closed, etc. THey did the newspaper in an rv, with a generator! BUt no paper delivery, cuz no one could get gas. We had just given our car away (almost full tank of gas), but both our cars were empty, as was my mom's car that had just been shipped over. SO we were really stuck. EVeryone lost all the food in freezers, etc and they had to open up dump areas that people could take food too....TONS of food were spoiled. We didn't have power for about a week, amd some areas much longer. IT had damaged the lines coming from the power plant. FInsally when they got some generators, places like Walmart would let only enuf people come in the store that they had associates that could escort them around, since it still was pretty dim. This is after standing in line for 2-3 hrs, to get ice or batteries! FUnny thing is, my parents had been here, but went to Alaska to see my bro for a week, and came back the day after the tornadoes hit. So it was pretty rough. I was able to use my cell phone very briefly (cuz couldn't recharge it, and didn't want to run the car to do it since we didn't have much gas in it), so I was in contact with Lori, so the gals here knew I was ok. OHHHH that is a long paragraph!

I tink I remember both of those storms Katwinka-de-storry-tailer, dey was horrible. Maybe it was only one but I remember you were MIA for so berry long and wese goils were worried sickliest about your welfair. And hearing you tail that story or any talk of tornados makes me tink of our dear Junie. May God Bless our Junie Bug, here here *clink*. She was a berry punny lady and was so cute when she would tail a story. De best is when she was paracticing for de tornado and hiding in her closet with a bike helmit on. And when her DH came in and found her there, she said he was ready to have her commited. and whattabout de time she was wearing her bra outside of her shirt? She got caught again by her husband and he was again ready to call de white coats in.
Well it is saturdey night and all but mese is gonna pop into de HTL chapel and say a spayshall prayer for all my bwest fwends and also eberrybuddy I know who has been affected by de FNRB. Oops, I tink I let de air out of de chapel, it flying away. Help me git it...brb.
I wish our Susie could get internet access to de lounge, dat jest sucks.

Gads Kathy..thats terrible about the tornado's..they said a possibility of some here tonight...that scares me more than rain...I cant imagine living is an area where that is a common occurance...how horrible to see all those people loose their homes and rebuild just to loose them again and the loss of life in unimaginable..its good you were able to stay in touch with the girls..cause we worry..Your Junie sounds like a lot of fun and cwazy like you all...and I say that in the most loving of all ways. I know she is missed here. I wish I had the pleasure of knowing her. DorK I remember the north eastern stats really got Irene badly last year. Jodi was stuggling to get back home before the first day of school..she made it home at midnight the night before ...she made like 5 stops on Southwest..what a trooper...Sure is coming down hard now....I hope it keeps raining all night ..i love sleeping to the sound of rain...

Awwwww you have me all teared up now, Dorkie. Yes, I do remember our Junie with her bike helmet on, in the closet, during tornado warnings. I keep trying to remember to do that, as its a very good idea. And, the bra on the OUTSIDE, oh that was our Junie, for sure! She got into such funny situations and had such a funny way of telling her stories too. Oh, I miss her soooooo much. Yes, May God Bless our dear Junie. And I will toast to her too...*kachink*. She was truly on-of-a-kind. I love her little "finger sign" she did in most of her pictures....you had to really look hard to see it, but that really showed her spunky character. What a gal. Love you, and won't forget you, dear Junie. I think I will mosey over and have an ML in her memory, in our little ML area in the corner. Remember when we put in that table and chairs, and decor, all Miller Lite?

Oops.....didn't mean ta bump ya Cyn...here's annudder "Natty" (or is it nattie?). HOPE you don't get any tornados there!!! They actually had one in Hawaii this year, while my parents were here. Just did minor damage, but they took pics, and there is a video on youtube with the waterspouts coming between the 2 islands (Mokolua's) that are in front of my parents place. Then, it came on land and became a tornado. Stay safe tonight! Can you send us some of that rain??? Pwetty pwease.....

I've seen waterspouts ..they are really wonderous things when seen from a distance...I saw one in a pic here in Venice and some on a couple cruises I went on...the dust devils in AZ were kind of neet too..nature is so amazing isnt it? Sometimes a beautiful disaster. I'll have to ask NM if she remembers the Ice storm in ME back in 97 I think it was..devistating beauty.

Good Morning...another gloomy rainy day here on the gulf coast....how are you making out down there Juliet???? A little soggy??? I swear this weather is sucking more energy out of me than rads did and today I cant get away without going out in it..Im out of milk and coffee creamer...and I should pick up some Natty's as to not run the slight risk of running out. I need to find some comfort food for supper also..any ideas??

GLAD Lori is back home, and A-OK! Are you really gonna read back on all the posts ya missed? I keep saying I will do that, but haven't...missed about 10 days when we were in Vegas, and of course lotsa days in Portugal, and before that, in IReland. That was a fun partay last night although mese does not member much, dose shots shut down mese memory. (uh oh, wrote de word memory, hope Allie's DH does not call to seranade me), ha get it??
Katwinkawiwi, (dat your Hawaiian name), I jest know that Lori will not miss a beat and will read every word we have written. I have missed some of the lounge happenings in de past due to work but hate when I can not catch up. I give Lori kudos for always finding time to read each word we right. And okay, okay, de Stella is de love child of Mr. Big. I was hoping to have a boy that I could pimp out hehe!

Ya know, de word wenches makes it sound like de female tenders are not hot and beautiful. I tink wese need to come up with a new word for the female staff. I also want to go with Allison to her church picnic. I like her church, much more fun than mine (which I have not seen since Christmas, oops). We have church carnivals around here with beer gardens but I am not into that scene. I know many people my age who go and dwink. I just do not like beer enough and I think they would frown if I toted my big bottle of JD!
