Oh it's bed time I've been in a nd out of sleep all day--waaaaa now I won't sleep I bet---I have to call the Dr. tom. for more antibiotics I FEEL AWFUL STILL--These things find comfort in me and they don't like leaving. oooooo--BUT since I'm out of anti. I can have a drink--just a little one hahahaha, that'll do it. Hope everyone sleeps well. I took my nite meds but 1 drink won't hurt bwaahhaaa-I' make it in my cauldron.

Good morning, Loungettes! Kinda quiet in the house without Sadie, but she's having fun at Auntie's getting spoiled. I'm leaving for Boston this afternoon sometime, will be there overnight, back to work on Weds. Not sure if I'll get on the computer while I'm down there or not. So here starts the week!
Mrs. Vino--contact your insurance company--they can wrangle with the hospital about the billing, and don't agree to pay anything yourself. At the very least they owe you an apology. The last patient of the day deserves just as much attention to detail and accurate testing as the first patient of the day. Accuracy should not be sacrificed for speed. Glad you got to pull some weeds (and probably burn off some anger and frustration, too) yesterday. Working in the yard and garden is good for the soul.
ORLA--I'd love a Vegas get together! I've got family that live there, so I can get tickets for lots of stuff through them for quite a discount. Would be fun! Unfortunately, I can't take vacay time until next year. But that's not that far away!

This beach is fugly...was beautiful 9 yrs ago...lol....but maybe got all dark looking from the hurricane 2-3 wks ago that brought high waves, etc. I bet Cyn's beach is prettier....and I gets ta see it soonliest!!! Yay! But the deep red sunset last night was soooo gawgeous....of course my camera was in the room. hope its pretty again while we are here.

i think i've been practising already cyn! thats why i need fat class!
well just had a 2 hour class on improving patient experience,i think we will be putting mints on pillows next , for me,its caring ,compassion and COMPETENCE.that should always be the priority ,we've all been patients ,what do you think should be the priorities for healthcare. last year when i had my surgeries,they didn't know i was a nurse,and i felt safe with their care,this year becuase of the new computer programme, a warning pops up if you are an employee of the system they asked where i worked so i was busted(some of the same nurses from last year) still felt safe with them and the care they provided. they did shorten some of their explanations because they knew i was a nurse now.but this class they essentially want you to provide a hotel experience for everybody that walks through the door, thats great but do you tell the patient who's trying to die on you,can you hold off having your heart attack because i need to turn next doors bed down for the night! and alli,the more i think about it ,i wonder if some of the wires inside the cables of the ekg machine was damaged because even if hooked up wrong because the machine is reading electrical impulses,the waveform might look odd /reversed for that particular lead but the "beats " should be the same . might be worht asking the office.take care everybody,have a good night,now on the gin and tonic 0 -
Cindie ( think the word sloth had me in mind---way back then--even my Mom used to say I hope u marry rich cuz u have no ambition and slow as a snail. Well I didn't marry rich Had to raise my 2 dgtrs alone and worksometimes 2 jobs. and I' still as slow (now even slower) than a snail.
Juliet somehow I missed u'r a nurse--and do I agree with u. Are all nurses and aides going to special classes for all of this. I know when I was in, everyone was so nice--extra nice too and yrs ao they were nice but not like this. U feel like u'r in a hotel instead of a hospital and it's customer relations that they want. Well that's a tuff job really u guys make it look easy, but it's not at all---U need to drink when u'r not going crazy at work.
