Taking my dad to his new eye dr this morn, but lots of rain and storms this ayem....they also predict possible tornadic activity this afternoon. PLUS we *think* our tenant moved out yesterday.....not much communication...so gotta check that out today and see how much work we have to do before we list it for rent again. Hard when they only stay 1 yr, as there is SO much to do. I like to get it SPOTLESS (unlike my house!), and make sure everything works well, etc. Might do more upgrades, not sure, as this area does not always attract the best tenants. Oh fun......(NOT)!

2 oz Alize liqeuer
3 oz Grapefruit juice
1 oz Cranberry juice
Marischino cherry; (optional as garnish)Fill a 10 ounce cocktail glass with cracked ice.
Add the Alize, then the grapefruit juice, and then the cranberry juice to top it off.

Hello Adey.You've all heard of the Air Force's ultra-high- security, super-secret base in Nevada, known simply as "Area 51?"
Well, late one afternoon, the Air Force folks out at Area 51 were very surprised to see a Cessna landing at their "secret" base. They immediately impounded the aircraft and hauled the pilot into an interrogation room.
The pilot's story was that he took off from Vegas, got lost, and spotted the Base just as he was about to run out of fuel. The Air Force started a full FBI background check on the pilot and held him overnight during the investigation.

They gassed up his airplane, gave him a terrifying "you-did-not-see-a-base" briefing, complete with threats of spending the rest of his life in prison, told him Vegas was that-a-way on such-and-such a heading, and sent him on his way.
The next day, to the total disbelief of the Air Force, the same Cessna showed up again. Once again, the MP's surrounded the plane... only this time there were two people in the plane. The same pilot jumped out and said, "Do anything you want to me, but my wife is in the plane and you have to tell her where I was last night!"

How neat, Adey! I was in Ireland in Nov also (first trip there) and got to MEET Bernie in person, at Kilkenny Castle! It was soooo awesome to get to meet her, and also to see Ireland, which is so beautiful. Funny if we were there the same dates! Now we're going back in Mar (and will get to see Bernie again), and Cyndie is going in June, I think. WooHoo! I mean SLAINTE!

Acapulco Goldie
- 1 part Gold tequila
- 1 part Goldschlager®
- 1 part Lemonade
- 1 part Orange wedge
In a Kyoto style glass add the Tequila and a dash of lemonade and stir. Add a shot of goldshlager and garnish with an orange wedge.
And one more, in case you don't want to use that one Sue.
THE PINK LADY
The Pink Lady is a classic cocktail that has a light blush color contributed by the dashes of grenadine. It was one of the first "girly drinks" and a favorite of the high society ladies of the 30's.
