Kathy-  I was there around Thanksgiving.  We did London too.  It was my family of four and it was wonderful to get out with our little crew only.  I was done with tx (except recon and ESD).  My girls are 17 and 19.  Love me some Guinness in Ireland.  Oldest had her first legal drink.  (c:

Kathy - Was a quiet night but I kno I was well 'tended' too and mese tinks Cyn n mayb Skate...cudda be Candy...mese don't pay dat much attention to da wenches...but tinks Cyn was taken care of too.  Who's Joe?  You and da devil made u do it...uh huh...LOL

Lynda - wese don't wait til 5p...cuz wif all our diff time zones...it's 5 for one of us all da time...close enuf anyway...we dwink whenever da mood strikes us. 

Lori - good ideas on the DOTDs!  Cept I don't go every day but when I do...I'll try and get a pic.  Not sure how they gonna do it.  Know they are giving pink ribbons for a donation.  Ribbons will be signed by the donator and hung on a wall that is usually covered with Halloween stuff.  But they are dedicating it this year to the ribbons.  The drinks...a flat rate of $5 with 50% going to our Local Center and of course with all the ribbon monies.  Did I tell you ladies that last year the Center was able to give cancer pts a fuel voucher because there is no chemo/oncos here locally so we have to travel to St George, UT or Las Vegas?  Anyway, the funds ran out and they have had to cut the vouchers.  So sad...so is why important to me to support my little local center.  I jes LOVE you Goldie drink Lori.  And da Pink Lady too...think we'll have to play with it tho as the egg white will be hard to come by.

damnit, I just wrote a post and was nearly done and it nessappeared. I so mad. I was saying how proud I am of our mema sue for bringing our DOTD to life. And for the benefit of breast cancer! She is de best organizer of tings. I would love in years to come to see this happening at all bars around de world. And I tink it really could happen. Can someone take her for awhile and MAKE her get de marriage annuliated? She say she marry for de money but he is broke. He spent his dough on buying more moles. Yep, he had a PS sew more on his face so dat he can attack more goils like Stella. but she tink he loves her and only her. Deputy Dork infestigagaed de situpation and found dat de moler foker has 146 wives, he is sick. So I need an intervention. Who can help? The Saturn V was a multistage liquid-fuel expendable rocket used by NASA's Apollo and Skylab programs and a massive representation of the power generated when Boeing, McDonnell, Douglas and North American coordinated their efforts.  

Boeing built the Saturn V's first stage, North American the second stage, and McDonnell Douglas, the third.  Each first and second stage was test fired at the Stennis Space Center located near Bay St. Louis, Miss. 

The largest production model of the Saturn family of rockets, the Saturn V was designed under the direction of Wernher von Braun at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., with Boeing, North American Aviation, Douglas Aircraft and IBM as the lead contractors. Good morning, Loungettes! How are all my bweasties this morning? I am actually looking forward to "fall back" time change, I could use the time in the mornings. It's getting dark around 6-7 pm now, which makes me sluggish and lazy feeling when I get home in the evenings.

DorKable--what a neat new club house for us Loungettes! So much house, so little land, though, only 0.98 acre. Hmm, probably just means less yard to mow. And I really get irked by people who milk the system for their own benefit. I don't mind helping someone who needs a hand, but way too many people abuse the system.

Goldie--my getting out of work early yesterday consisted of leaving at 4:30 instead of 5. Not quite what I was looking for. After being on the computer all day I'm not so quick to jump on at night. Need to get me a lap top so I can do my ketchuping in the recliner!

Mema--sounds like your local center actually uses the money they raise to help people, an unusual thing in this day and age. Good for them!

Princess Glitter Sizzle's DOTD is the Pink Rocket
1 oz Gin
1 oz Blue Raspberry Juice
1 oz Grenadine
oz Ginger Ale

Directions
Add ice cubes, Gin and Blue Rasberry Mix (I use Rose's Cocktail Infusion). Fill with Ginger Ale and mix up everything. Add Grenadine syrup (it must fall to the bottom of the glass).

Day 283 Of My Captivity.
My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while I am forced to eat dry cereal. The only thing
that keeps me going is the hope of escape, and the mild satisfaction I get from ruining the occasional piece of furniture.

Tomorrow I may eat another houseplant. Today my attempt to kill my captors by weaving around their feet while they were walking almost succeeded; must try this
at the top of the stairs. In an attempt to disgust and repulse these vile oppressors, I once again induced myself to vomit on their favorite chair; must try
this on their bed. Decapitated a mouse and brought them the headless body, in attempt to make them aware of what I am capable of, and to try to strike fear
into their hearts. They only cooed and condescended about what a good little cat I was. Hmmm, not working according to plan.

There was some sort of gathering of their accomplices. I was placed in solitary throughout the event. However, I could hear the noise and smell the food. More
importantly I overheard that my confinement was due to MY power of "allergies." Must learn what this is and how to use it to my advantage. I am convinced the
other captives are flunkies and maybe snitches. The dog is routinely released and seems more than happy to return. He is obviously a half-wit. The bird on the
other hand has got to be an informant, and speaks with them regularly. I am certain he reports my every move. Due to his current placement in the metal room,
his safety is assured. But I can wait, it is only a matter of time...
