Today, after my dr appt I visited my DD and g'kids for awhile. When I was leaving, I hugged my g'son and told him he was soooooo sweet. OK, now, get this....as SOON as I said that, he let out a big fart!!! LOL. I then told him he has"perfect timing". He kept saying he was sorry, and I couldn't stop laffing. Now Dorkapoo, that HAS to warm your fart (I mean heart)! OK, as I am typing this, it doesn't sound nearly as funny as it was when it happened! lol.

It's beautiful out today and everyone has some Halloween Decs up in the neighborhood. I love it, I can't wait for decs. for Christmas, my favorite. Ad my grandson still believes in Santa and I enjoy that--this'll be the last year I'm sure.

Adey, "Pau Hana" means you are through with work for the day, and its time for Happy Hour. "Pau" (pronounced "pow") is Hawaiian for "through, finished". We always would say we were pau with something, it was a normal part of conversation. There were so many Hawaiian words that were part of our vocabulary...like "puka" for hole...if you had a hole in you sock, you would say you had a "puka". When I moved to the mainland as an adult, I had to purge that from my speech as no one knew what I was talking about! Fun to use some of the words here on our thread. So the gals here were sweet and accepted having "Pau Hana" here!
