I checked into the whole thing about being perscirbed something for hot flashes...per my oncs instructions I called my gyn who refered me to my pcp...round and round we go..I asked to be switched from Lisinipril (blood pressure med) to Clonidine which my mom is on for hot flashes and which is also a blood pressure med....so Im waiting to hear from them.  I hope they agree..it does have minor interaction with my diabetes meds tho so I may be SOL..we will see.

Cyn, sorry that your DD does not have power. I really am lucky as there are over a million homes in NJ with no power. My car is fine, thankfully. My yard looks like a war zone but it is just tree debris and my cusions and pool rafts blown all over. My favorite raft is missing, I need to walk around to my neighbors yards and look for it. Are you doing more OT today?

Cam, our governor has told us to stay indoors and are suggesting that everyone stay off the roadways so that all of the downed trees can be removed. The wind was more of an issue than the rain, considering, we really did not get nearly as much as expected in this area. You are such a dear with looking after all of us.
