Cami, if you had TE drains, you would have had reconstruction. TE’s are tissue expanders. Did you have MX? Stella washed your clothes???? OMG, I am shocked, as she doesn’t do housework….LOL!!

Wow NM, that is a long time to be under. But glad you are a happy camper with your results. I didn’t know that a person’s BMI would make for a longer surgery. I just looked mine up, it’s 23.9, within normal, but right on the edge of being overweight. Over weight starts at 25. 1/3 oz Bailey's® Irish cream
1/3 oz Frangelico® hazelnut liqueur
Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well. Strain into an old-fashioned glass 1/4 filled with ice cubes, and serve.

1/2 oz Southern Comfort® peach liqueur
1/2 oz Midori® melon liqueur
1/2 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1/2 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
1 splash orange juice
1 splash pineapple juice
top with 7-Up® soda
Pour all ingredients into a hurricane glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a slice of orange and a cherry, and serve.

Good Morning everyone.
Goldie I didn't have any recon but I had 2 drains on both sides--2 different operstions and I had to keep track of the drainage and write it down and went 2x a week for months I would stop draining on my worse side and my dr. told me NO BATS, OR SHOWERS ick so I didn't for almost 3 months--I took whore baths and washed my head but that was it. No one else told me I could take a shower and he changed my drains so I kept them along time and my Onc. was havin a fit cuz she wanted me back in chemo for the red devil ha she waited he would not release me-but when I had that done I was in the hospital about 10 days--supposed to get out the next day so I don't know what went wrong, but it ended up right. And my sister didn't have any recon and she had drains (diff. hospital) heres was in for about 3 weeks. So drains must be pretty common here.--Oh my niece and cousin did too-no recon on any of us. U leave the hospital with rhem in.?????
Udder den dat--Stell almost got out last night but my dog stopped her Today she's going to clean the carpeting in my bedroom-(her punishment) wild woman Oh she ate my stack of cookies too, or I did and don't member-prolly me. And Johnboy is no where to be found--unless he buried himself in a ditch somewhere.

I just told my surgeon he left me breastless and never even after readin all this stuff don't know the shortened term for what my nonbrest thing is called. Someone tell me so I know when u guys say it--and if u get a tumor out it.s bx?

Cami, I *think* BMX stands for Bilateral Mastectomy, which is both. Since you did have both off, even tho in separate operations, you ended up with BMX, but really had it in 2 operations, so....oh shoot, I dunno....I need a dwink ta figger dis out! LOL. I was very much like you, didn't really care for all the abbreviations, etc..but it has been over 4 1/2 hrs for me(edit:oops, I meant 4 1/2 YEARS!), so "some" have worked their way into mese widdle bwain. And you had those dwains for that long! WOW...it was awful for me to have them for 5 wks!!! Esp with changing the dressings 2x day and stipping the drains 2xday. That was lotsa woik!
