Cami, I know, right? So cool when us loungettes get to meet up! We have a wedding to go to in Joisey, so OF COURSE I wanted to stay longer so I can meet our Dorkie!!! That weather better behave, and not get snowy or icy, dats foah shuah. We fly back on New Years Eve, so I guess we can say we will CLOSE out the year together! Yummmm fudge!!! I love homemade fudge....my friend in NH makes peanut butter fudge and used to send me some....had never tried it b4 trying hers. Oh dat is so good too. All I did cooking wise, today, was dip apricots in melted chocolate...whoop-de-do! AND my dress didn't turn out since I am too big to fit it (DUH, I love sweets!), so mese sad about dat. Didn't think I was getting fatter cuz the weight stayed de same, BUT dats cuz mese muscles went "bye'bye" and left fat in dere place, so de fat is much bulkier den de muscle wuz.

DOrkie, we kin twy to diet together, BUT you look so slim in your pictures!!! So jest portend you have weight to lose, ok?

Oh yeah, now they are showing on the news all the people here rushing to buy guns too. They say "for a gift", then admit they want to buy them in case we get more restrictions and they won't be able to buy them later. I like the idea I saw earlier,about only allowing the clips that hold a lesser amount of bullets. THAT WAY if a shooter is trying to kill people, they may have time to get away when the shooter has to stop often to reload. HECK< just get rid of the automatic weapons!!! Hunters don't use those, that I know of. Seems like just the insane people use automatic guns/rifles, to do their evil deeds.

Good morning, Loungettes!  I tried to get an early start at work yesterday so I could get done by 5, but it didn't work.  Hopefully today will be shorter, but I'm not counting on it.  I did get out of being on back up call tomorrow, which is really nice!  So just got to get through today and I can catch up on some rest. 

Goldie--giving something to stop bad behavior is a mistake in the long run, it does indeed act as a reward.  Unfortunately, I've seen that all too often, and it usually turns out badly.  Don't blame you for taking off on occasion!  Every one needs a bit of a break from time to time. 

Juliet--good response by your sister!  Things sure have changed since we were in school, haven't they?

LizLemon--Hooray for recovering from hangovers!  You need to drink here in the Lounge more often, never any hangovers here!

Cammy--What you went through is just what the problem is with the legal system in this country.  YOUR car is stolen, YOU were the victim, but the criminal's name is protected information.  So you got victimized TWICE.  No wonder people don't press charges most of the time!  I bet Hard Mike will be a great help with the cookies!

CynCyn--Haven't seen Moler Foker or Stella for quite some time.  Maybe we should be worried???

ORLA--all this snow and stuff and the driveway has only needed plowing once.  Not too bad, I guess! 

Juliet--you have my sympathy.  I had the same kind of rads problem, but developed abscesses that wouldn't heal.  Finally had the d@amned thing taken off.  I hope your heals. 

Goldie--yet another example of the odds being stacked against the victim.  Funny how the police get frustrated when victims don't do what THEY want done.  I wish that never happened to you. 

Cammy--a potassium of 6.5 is definitely a problem!  Glad it was a misunderstanding.  What the heck is causing all this D, anyway?????

DorK--my company's attitude is that a dead or injured employee is not a productive one.  They'd much rather I stay home than get hurt.  And, if necessary, I have the weekend to get caught up with visits.  It's nice to feel valued at work! 

Mema--good point about domestic abuse/violence laws changing for the better.  I think the abuser gets arrested no matter what the abused says, and the state can prosecute even if the abused doesn't want to press charges.  Now if we can get a movement for more thinks like that for other victims.

Dorfy - I bad dat I did not come back Weds night and dwink wif you.  Seemed like I was on puter for long time and knew I had to woik next day so I jes had to get to bed.  It good to read what you wrote yest about taking care of your body…really warms my fart.  Whew!!!  glad no more pink eye and jes a torn contact.  Dodged dat bullet huh.  Sounds like lots of changes at work…but kno you will hang in there and do what you need to do…but not toooo much!!    Vits - you need fish oil and CoQ10, Vit E too.  After you finish the B12, can you find a B complex so you get all the B’s?  And, like Julie and maybe NM sed…if you on, been on, anti-by’s you need probiotics.  I take them every day since my diverticulitis surgery.  OOO and Melatonin and a baby aspirin.  I hate taking all these vits, but I have been forcing myself to.  So many of these help immune system and help with affects of stress.  You kno how much I love you and want only da best for you…my fart aches sooo much…hard not to cry…but I don’t want my face looking like a ’smacked-ass’ so I will tamp it down…K?

NM - yes…you are correct about the DV laws, State prosecutes.  The ’aggressor’ if both doing the hitting, goes to jail if police can determine.  My sis called when in a beef with her bf.  Cops came, separated them in the front yard…bout 20 feet apart.  Up to this point, he, was the aggressor, but sis heard him say something and she ran up and slapped him right in the face.  BOTH went to jail…I laughed my ass off.  But dats a diff story…LOL!

Having a wild and crazy day. Started with being late for work, every road I tried was closed due to flooding. Get to work and many UPS pacakges are stuck in Louisville due to UPS shut down for weather. Allison, can you send my packages on de UFO to mese office? So to back up, when I went to mese car this morning, the remote would not work. So I go inside and get mese spare. When coming out for lunch, I was able to unlock the car by taking the key fob apart and found the teeny tiny key that is built in. Then I had to put it in a hole (my dumb car has push button start). I got it in the hole but it is stuck. Thankfully, I had my spare and was able to get the car started to come home for lunch which I SHOULD NOT HAVE done. I am so behind and I took a percocet dis aye em cuz otherwise, I was not making it to work. So now I cannot lock my car cuz there is a sensor that knows the key is stuck in the hole. Not sure if I told you my sage earlier this week where I dropped the key fob on the floor, it did turn up after I have Steve, my sbtxdh (soon to be ex hubby) drive me home to pick up my spare. And my car clock stopped working again, I will have to take it to the dealer next week to get that bixed AGAIN and also get the stuck mini key out of the hole. I guess things could be worse, fo shoah.

Well I have not yet read, might try to read from work if I get flusteredd again. I have so much to do and am all over the place with my ADD, OCD, ADHD, ABCDEG-Z lol.

I must say again how tankful I am for each of you. You are all heavy in my farts. Oh, just found out today that a coworker who is younger than me (I am 52) has lung cancer. She is a heavy smoker and makes me tink about mese own destiny. I smoked on and off for many many years and plead de fifth, will say no more. 

So I have another to pray for and ask you all to pray too. Her name is Nancy and she is only 45 years old. Smokers, please quit (I plead the fifth on dat one)!

I used to have poyfect attendance except two call outs in the first 8+ years and since RB, I am slacking. I tink I told ye all that a coworker was terminated yesterday, he called me last night to tail me. I feel terrible for him, he was the guy that I thought was cute but am quite sure he is gay. Damn, all the hot ones are gay.

Gotta fly for real. Pray for my sanity and if I do not get here again due to the world ending, see you all in heaven. I know there is a HTL there, my friends Junie and Marie are up there and they told me so.
