Good morning,. Loungettes! Ended up taking a couple of days off from life when the cough came back harder than ever Sunday. Ended up going to the ER and getting some codiene and a chest x-ray and all that stuff. No pneumonia, pretty bad bronchitis that is probably inflammatory (that is a reaction to the nebulizer treatments) rather than infectious. Got a shot of toradol (like tylenol but IV) and another shot of steroids and prescription for cough medicine with codeine and stopped the nebulizer medication. Feel pretty darn good, except for tired, of course. So back to work for me today. Got the option of working half a days, one of the on call nurses is looking for some extra time so she's working today so I'll let her do some of my visits for me today if she wants and I'll spend time getting caught up on paperwork and everything else I've missed these last few days. Now I'm wondering if I really have asthma or something else going on.

Wahine--looks like I caught the rebound cough everyone else is having. Boy will I be glad when this is all done! Seems to me your dad's dentist should have SOMEONE on call for the practice.
Juliet--good point about putting the date on the fentanyl patch. Also remember it has to go on a place with some fat under the skin for the medication to get into the system, like the back of the upper arm, upper back NOT over he shoulder blades, sometimes we use the thigh but not often. If there isn't any fat under the skin the medication will not absorb.
CynCyn--if you still have the box the keys came in you might want to look at it, there are locks out there that if you match up a certain number the keys will work for all the locks. When I changed locks here (because I lost the keys etc) I found 2 sets that all use the same key that way, so I didn't have to make any copies. Your landlord and locksmith may be using a system like this.
Cammy--work ethics seem to be something fading into the past. Too sad. I must say.

OK I washed clothes yesterday so I have all snuggly clean winter warm clothes to be comfortable, AND I put away my Christmas purse.
