Doing better day by day, still feeling a little flat but it will pass with the days. On my way back from seeing my doc on Monday I always drive passed where my mom lived but this time I had such an urge to call in and then realised she was no longer there and never would be again.......life goes on and I must not dwell.
Please know that even though I don't post often the HTL is visited daily to check in on all you girls........just to make sure you are all behaving......( not)......lol

I put a chuck roast in da oven today. Bout noon...den went n got shit-faced. But I tail u what....dat roast, taters, n carrots....yum yum yum!! Roast jes fell apart. Leftovers...mese jes add a widdle celery and waalaa...stew!! heehee!

Girls, please continue praying for the family that had that horrible wreck that I told you about this morning (in my g'kids homeschool group). The latest is that the mother is paralyzed from the waist down, and has been told about her daughters (the 5 year old died, and the 7 year old has no brain activity). The family needs everyone's prayers, thank you so much. They were rear-ended and the person that hit them was uninjured.

Good morning, Loungettes! Back to work yesterday, and am amazed at how much by co-workers have been worried about me! And they are so nice to me while I'm jacked up on steroids and acting like a crazy woman. They did get some giggles from my behavior--mostly my mouth outruns my brain and I sound like a cartoon character--which is a good thing. A good laugh is good for everyone! Seeing my PCP this am, gonna get a referral to a pulmonologist and figure out what is really going on and how to keep it from happening again, it's too scary! Couldn't sleep for beans last night, hopefully that will wear off and I can sleep tonight. I really, really have a love-hate relationship with steroids!
Goldie--It's funny, I get carded some places when I buy alcamahol, but no one checks for ID for ciggies for obviously underage teens. Gotta wondah!
Wahine--I'm being careful, not working too hard, taking my time, and have a whole crew of people making sure I don't overdo. And I really should have had the x-ray done in the beginning, should have done lots of things different, gotta re-learn to trust the medical care system again.
Oh, my. Lord, it's me again. I just read what Kat wrote about her daughter's homeschool group accident. I know You are cuddling with the little 5 year old, but it looks like the Mom and especially the 7 year old are in very big need of Your help. Please heal those whom it's Your will to heal quickly, please send an angel to stand between the others and any pain there may be. Please, Lord, be looking out for them, I don't know what else to say, and You know I'm not good with elegant and fancy prayers, but I know You listen and understand what my heart is struggling to say even though I don't have the right words. Please give strength to the family of the person who caused the accident, they are suffering, too. And help me find some forgiveness for the driver. But mostly, please take care of the Mom and little girl.

All this talk about crimson tide had me confused. It's winter. It's not clam digging time, there haven't been any flats closed down due to red tide. Then I realized it's a sport thingy! How out of touch can a woman be?
Mema-- I did end up working a full day, but most of it was in the office not running around seeing patients. Got a few visits today, then back to the nursing homes Friday. Now I need to get over being scared of every cough.
Cammy--I agree, whatever this is going around is brutal and NOT FAIR, but then we all know all about not fair in life, don't we?
ORLA--I know surgery is scary. Getting nervous is normal. I'll help you drink it away.
Rakul--if you aren't getting served fast enough we may need to find a new Tender to assign just to YOU!
Chrissy--I do know asthma can be deadly. Know someone who died from asthma, and that's always in the back of my mind making me crazy. So I try to pay attention AND ignore the whole thing. It's not working well, but I'm trying.

Awwww, so very sad about the accident Kathy. Saying some prayers for that family and even a miracle to happen. How sweet that you heard from Kerry. I still her mom too and have actually been thinking a lot about junie lately, still in disbelief that she is gone. Sorry that it is hard for her that Bob is getting married.

NM, I am SO glad you are being careful with this, and also that your co-workers are being very aware of how dangerous this is, and helping you out. MY g'dau and SIL also have asthma very bad, and both have had this sickness too...my g'dau has had it for 2 months!! SUch a lovely prayer, thanks so much. AND funny about the Crimson Tide! I really had to get into "football mode" after moving to AL as its quite big here. In HI, my small highschool was a lab school of the Univ of HI, whose team was the "Rainbows". So, our teams were the "Junior Rainbows"...lol...not very fierce sounding is it! AND with mostly asians at our school, our basketball team was so SHORT!!! Was funny.

I thank ALL of you for all the prayers for this family. I have copied some of them and emailed them to my DD. I don't have any updates yet. It really gets us thinking of our own blessings when we hear of the sadness and tragedy others are going through. I want to write more, but have to get dressed. This will be just the 2nd time I will be out of the house since Dec 31, but have to go to the dentist.
My DH will be having his knee surgery tomorrow ayem, and I just realized that also means I will be there for a LONG TIME in the Surgery Center with everyone's germs, so I'm gonna try to remember to take some sanitizing gel. Remind me, ok?

Good Mornin' all--still praying for that dear family---Kat u'r husband is having surgery tomorrow? I thought his cold was still hanging on--do the Dr/s know how bad this was for him? Kat I don't know much at all--but I get to be a stickler about certain things that's all. I'm sure u2 have checked this out. Have u?
And NM I really hope u r taking it easy--I know u know best but it sounds like u'r pushing u'rself a little too much.-It's my wacky thinking I'm sure I'm wrong. But just in case--TAKE IT EASIER. It won't hurt.

My GF just called, she's staying in NY to help with her first grandchild and she's already tired. LOL-She's staying til April so of course I told her I hated her for leaving me and the rest of us, but I do understand. She only lives about 5 min. from me here, so that's a big missing. The hardest part is that it's her DIL--who she doesn't know that well cuz they're in NY so she's busy all day hoping she's not going to agrevate her. hahaha We'll se how long she lasts--we've got bets on it here.
