    Dorky u'r mom is going exactly where u wanted her to go right.  Oh I'm so so so glad--I bet when u'd dad sees her he'll be willing to be around there too so they can be together. This is wonderful news and we'll all still pray so everything comes together for u'r family. (((prayers))) and (((HUGS)))  God heard u quickly, cuz he must really like u. I did read all of this right , didn't I.

    Good morning, Loungettes!  Still windy here, but I still have power.  Lots of trees and tree limbs and other stuff down in the roads yesterday, probably more today.  Getting colder today, too.  Sigh.  TGIF. 

    Mornin' Adey! 

    Goldie--when you go shopping for meds, don’t buy Mucinex--that's a brand name and you can get the active ingredient (guifenasen) for a lot less generic.  The difference is the dose.  Mucinex is about 600 mg a dose, but you can get that by taking 2 or 3 tablets of the generic stuff and still save a lot of $$$. Thanks for the prayer, my friend is going to his friend's funeral today, and today is my friend's birthday.  Gonna be a hard day for him. 

    ORLA--what is that bug? It's beautiful! 

    Mema--funny, I love windy weather.  I love listening to the sound it makes in the trees and around the house.  Extreme cold, on the other hand, I really do not like. 

    Cammy--yesterday it was warm enough for shirtsleeves most of the day.  It started cooling off in the afternoon, and we're back into wind chill warnings again.  Welcome to winter in Maine. 

    LOL at the funky dark and light posts on the last page!  Never know what's gonna happen here, glad we know how to fix it!

    CynCyn--I just have memory moments, too, they just happen often! 

    Speaking of staying off the road until it was sanded, I went straight to a patient's home to deal with a crisis, during which the patient's landlord disappeared. As soon as the ambulance left with my patient the landlord reappeared and spent 20 minutes reaming me out for not being there immediately when he called, all the things I've done wrong, how wonderful he is for taking in sick people.  And he wouldn't sign on as the patient's caregiver, so he had no right to expect anything.  I really wanted to tell him that we weren't obligated to even take his call since he wasn't a caregiver, but I didn't.  He was such a jerk.  Then he got on the phone and told work he would be late because the roads were icy--he lives less than 5 miles from where he works!  What a maroon!

    DorKable--Hooray!!!!!! Go God!  Your sister needs to understand the bad word block on the e-mail at work, it makes for confusion.  And why didn't she just say that anyway?  Oh well.

    Camillelove, dere’s nuttin “little” bout meese. Ize 5’9” and carry 160-165 lbs. I’ll bet your lil Joey looks jes az handsum az can be. I’m sorry your DD is still struggling with the flu. I hope she gets over it soon. Is she the one that you live with? And yes, Katwinka went away to Tunica. Here and her DH go there and hit up the casinos. And I don’t think anyone has heard from our sweet Lynda, I have not. We are all praying that she is ok.

    Hey girls, those of you that were fortunate enough to get jewelry from Lynda, do you have a return address? Maybe we could send cards?

    Oh Julie, tanks for the splanation of your biopsy. Still praying for all good results. Dang all of these drugs, but we must be grateful that we have them, right?

    Ha, too late NM………..already bought the Mucinex, and for the exact reason that you mentioned, it had more mg of the “active” ingredient. Wasn’t thinking about comparing prices if we doubled up on the generic…..oh well. I hope your friend makes it though the day, which of course he will, but it will be hard. Also glad that you have power, but we know you would be ready for it! Hoping that none of that nasty weather and what it’s capable of doing affects you in any way, shape or form. Idiot landlord!!!! But even funnier, you called him a maroon!!! Your DOTD reminds me of a song. It’s a country song, but sung by an artist I have never heard of, Thomas Rhett.     Julie-  I also had to have an endo biopsy due to Tamox.  Ended up going on to an AI (chemopause).  Prayers all is well.

    Good Morning everyone.

    NM u wether is sounding like ILL. weather this week--it's crazy and I don't like cold and lately wind is doing damage so I'm not crazy about that either.

    Goldie how are u 2 doing this morning? U'r still little to  me altho I'm much shorter u'r ody is little--I've shrunk 2 whole inches I can't believe it my sister and cousin too. This is orrible to us but if I started at u'r height I'd be all right LOL My DD2 (whom I live with) is 5'10" but she's overweight some of her meds have steroids in them and I feel so bad for her cuz I' overweight and Joey is starting so they went on WW--I don't have the discipline-I've lost about 50 lbs this last 6 mos, but I need to lose another50 lbs I did ask the drs. to hold off fixing anything til I loose the rest and they said NO, ARE U CRAZY--no I'm not I mostly eat very little cuz of my D so I go at least a day here and there without eating, I've gotten used to it now, but that's not discipline there is a reason for my insanity.-oops somehow I turned this around all aout me--I tend to do that when I jammer.

    Orange I'm glad u'r not driving for a while, I'm sorry if u'r bored but it's best for u. Just tell u'r self it's just for now.

    Lori good idea about Lynda's address I hope someone kept it. I't been so long since she posted--I wish she's pop in to let us know what's going on.

    OK so Kat is away for a couple of days--it's so nice that they travel around. The ones that have husbands here, it always seems like they are so nice to u and it makes me happy.

    And I know Dork and her Puka are both working today so we won't hear from her yet.

I'm right with you on the love for bread and pasta...I lasted 1/2 a day on Atkins...I knew it wouldnt work when I started sneaking crackers in the bathroom...I dont think there is a diet out there for me that would work for me cause I cant stand being told I cant have something..makes me want it all the more.

    Speakin of which....I must go find some lunch..may go huntin in the deep freezer  in the garage for something unhealthy.

    My gyn did a biopsy about a week before my hyst..is that what it is like?  If so Cami it was like having an internal exam and pap.

    Oh Cyn TY, but I did have a loop procedure then a hyster. also that show cancer but I had no treatment cuz at that time they said it was teeny, tiny, teeny; LOLAnd they took everything out so I guess they figured it was OK. No I just wondered cuz I've heard some biopsies u'r put to sleep and I wondered not for our female stuff riht?  I mean we've all had biopsies on top and bottom was anyone put out? I wonder the stupidist things.

    Hiya Lovely Loungettes!

    Found some puter time while DH naps to try to get rid of his headache. We cancelled our dinner plans for the gourmet room, and will just snack around in the vip room. Staying here 3 nights...and yuppers, toooooo much to eat here, had a big lunch, and some blue moon beers while playing bj. My DH had a draft that was dark and called "Southern Pecan"...and he loved it! We're up high on the 20th flr, and see the Mississippi River. All casinos in MS have to be "on the water" and the inland ones usually have to have a barge pull it in place. I don't know how they did it cuz none of them are really "on the water"> They must have somehow flooded the area, got some barges to pull whatever they call it (boats?) in place. SOmetimes you find trickles of water near it! LOL> But they are immense, and you sure can't tell when you are "on the water" or on land. This one we are in is especially GAWGEOUS!!!! HOpe DH gets rid of his headache soon so we can go downstairs and get some good dwinks!!!!

    Oh Lara, you scared me too....then I read your mom is ok...yippeeeee!!! But I am funcused.....you mentioned feeling the metal....are your expanders made of metal? Or do you mean the "port" area where the inject the fills?? Mine were not uncomfortable (I know, I was lucky), and I had them go slowly on the fills, so didn't really hurt except maybe a couple of hrs was uncomfortable. Some drs order big fills ea time, and that can really be painful. BUT ITS WORTH IT!!!! I do hope you feel better and better ea day that passes!!!

    WTH with that dark page??? TOok me forever to ketchup with all the posts, but you girls rock....you knew how to keep posting till you were on the next page! I am over the moon with happiness that Dotty's mom is going to be in the BEST place!  I guess today was "moving day"? HOpe she likes the new place, and that they aren't too hard on her with the PT.     Lara - MyFitnessPal.com   You put in da foods you eat and the exercise you do and it tells you what you need to do to lose 'x' number of pounds.  I knno u a skinny minny so u don't hab to worry bout it.  But I'm up 20 pounds since RATBASTARD!  So gonna see if this and exercise helps. 

    But ladies....I cud and wud b a skinnyminny if I cud give up my booze...but like mese say..YEAH...LIKE THAT WUD EVER HAPPEN!!  Jes not willing to give it up...sooo...gonna do zackery what makes me happy every glorious day for the rest of my life...and that LADIES...is my truth!!

    sue ,the only reason, have been loosing weight is fat makes estrogen and i got too much of the bloody stuff already.    yes still have the curse or as joey calls them lady daysLaughing,    the only reason i didn't tell you gals was that i have been on the verge of cancelling it all week and i know you all would have given me grief over it.  having never been pregnant was absolutely dreading it, but gyn very good and didn't hurt,speculum was the worst part and he used a small one!
