Baby possums are adorable. I found a baby one in my laundry room years ago. I made some calls and was connected to a woman that rescues them. I took it to her house and she had a bunch of cages with baby possums. Instead of crazy cat lsdy, she was crazy possum lady!

The possums here are different...they're Australian ones. In Australia, they're protected. Here, they're pests and their fur is used in clothing (it's really warm!). There are apparently two "crazy hedgehog ladies" who do hedgehog rescue here in Wellington. I'd love to see their place!
