We had "Close Encounters of the Apian Kind"
Wasps. They can sting multiple times. And they are very good at it.
I got ten bites one day last week after getting too close to a ground nest.
The bug man came next day and took care of them.

Love the cat funnies. Had a close encounter with a bee last week myself early in the morning while I was taking the dog out. Dang thing was hanging around my back door and wouldn't leave. Had to have my hubby help get me and Jackson back inside.

Feline, regarding the yellow cup like structure in the center of the lotus flower, that's it's sex organs (both male & female)! The seeds inside are actually edible( texture is similar to boiled peanuts).
