peas, peppers, pears, potatoes (fresh ones will ruin you for store-bought!), wish we could grow peaches here but this fall we will pick pumpkins. My DH wants to try growing a giant pumpkin LOL.

badger: we (my DH) grows pumpkins forHalloween but about end of july beginning of August he takes sharp knife and other toils to carve face or our names into the green skin. He just barely scrapes the surface so as the Pumpkin matures these markings heal over and you get "instant" decorated pumpkin.
