Yes, thanks for that. I do think what came about is going to prove not so great overall for the Reps. party. So many seem almost out to out-do each other for what they can get away with -- and not saying the Democrats should do the same. That getting away with things is definitely the loathsome orange one's modus operandi. That said for some Reps. I think they always wished they could go rough-shod anyway. I do think there are things we could do and should because if some of our laws were changed ( we would need more Democratic Senators to do it ) we could do away with the filibuster, and other things that give too much advantage to one side.
We have gone too long w/o repairing some of the items that don't fit so well in government and in its changing circumstances and very much so in things that allow a mentally damaged con man like the orange devil to assume power over us.
ETA: I have been reading articles today about DeSantis ( another devilish spawn ) and his numbers going down quite a bit. Apparently, some of the Floridians are not happy to part with their life for him and it is starting to show.

They had plenty of issues before they lost so many to covid and a mentally damaged leader. They also will have many problems because Trump has to run. He is broke, or so it is said, and he needs a way to grift. That means running for president.

Question, the well-suited psychopathic pair that form the trump union are not on the same page when it comes to returning to the WH. Do you think he will dump her or she will divorce him, take the money and run? There has to be another grifter for her to latch on to since she is still relatively attractive. For him, I know of no woman within my circle that would debase themselves to marry him no matter his supposed wealth (only on paper) but I am sure there is someone who would latch on to his lard ass.

I have now read in two or three places ( and dropped it here ) that the other female has no desire to come back to the WH or help Lard-butt should he run. She will not campaign for him. She didn't do that much on the first go -- mainly pushed into it then I think. They are both stunningly alike. Two hideous misfits that did absolutely nothing for the WH unless it was ruinous. It is still painful to think of that sort of woman as having been a ( gulp ) flotus. Whether I liked them or not, the majority of the WH first ladies have had some style, grace, manners and seemed quite able to learn their roles and fulfill them well enough and a few carried it off extremely well like Michelle Obama.

It seemed to me that they each wanted certain things from the other and a few things I've read seem to make it sound like they mainly live in the same residence but don't feel need for each other's company She got her Citizenship and got her parents here. He got a trophy woman. He fails at business and after marrying him I think her businesses failed although I'm not sure at all that they were much to speak about. It gave her something to do. They in my book are both massive failures that get to hide behind so called money or some prestige, but there is not anything there -- at least anything you could feel any pride about. How could anyone stick with a failure like Trump. In my book you would have to have some of your own mental flaws that have not been discovered.

How is it that that piece of shit is still alive and over 600K people in this country have died from Covid? Imagine if we had had a decent human being in office back in January 2020.
I always wonder - if he had died from Covid, would the Covidiots have woken up or would they have decided it was a conspiracy and revolted? Would less lives have been lost had he not been given medical treatment not available to anyone else? Are his devotees capable of snapping out of it, or are they all a lost cause?

Nope, they are like post-apocalyptic zombies and eat each other's brains (as small as they are). He got the vaccine on the sly before leaving office and yet has only revealed that to these zombies recently and got booed for recommending they vaccinate. If he had died, they would call it a Democrat assassination because "he had really won the election" and this was the only way we could get him out of office.

I thing Gaetz married to keep the 'girlfriend' quiet -- like no one else knows what you do or have been up to. Still interesting that so many of these Trump people would be likely not much noticed but they fall all over themselves with their orange loyalties. Some like DeSantis just want the orange voters and Abbott fits that category as well.
I do think it might have opened some eyes if covid had dispensed Trump. But another part of that group likely would have another conspiracy about his death being caused in some other way. I still feel like you can't believe all of that ignorance in those conspiracies and be in your right mind. It is just interesting to me that so there are so many un-happy and or feeling totally neglected and trod upon souls. They NEEDED something out of the ordinary and Trump gave them their culprit. The government.

It's really crap that due to right-wing brainwashing over the past 30 years and the proliferation of misinformation in the social media age that we can't even have a thread about the pandemic b/c too many people get into their feelings when they are told by other's that their "beliefs" rooted in misinformation found on fox/oann/podcasts are shit.
