Great Jewish Space Laser. You and Ruth are right --- real delight and joy that Twitter ( despite numerous other lies -- I know the ones on the pandemic are far worse ) finally took care of MTG. I did hear she still has her government sponsored Twitter, but I think even she may feel it not worth the risk of OVER-USAGE. Also she is livid about Twitter ( how dare they ) removing her on a permanent basis. She must really think highly of herself if she thinks she would be allowed to spew her garbage all over when her Orange king got the boot. Maybe she is as much in love with herself as the Loon.

I got my son on law a T-shirt with the “logo” of the Jewish Space laser force on it. Under the logo it says “Mazel tough” 😂. He wears it proudly. Alas, despite my 65 years as a Jew, no one has issued me a space laser.

I have tried a 100 ways to Sunday to get a Middle Age Riot picture in here. Why it won't go is beyond me, but it is a pic of Trump on 1/6 pointing his finger at the rioters out in from of him. The caption of the picture says:
Since the first anniversary is the paper anniversary, we should commemorate the Jan. 6th. insurrection with an arrest warrant for the person who planned it.
Better if we had the whole thing -- but I thought the idea was darn good.

When DH was deployed in Afghanistan (2018), I told him to be sure not to get killed. Because if he did, I might be invited to the White House to be honored as a war widow. And if I had to meet Trump, it would have gone down like this:
Me: So, I guess by meeting you for this photo op, I'm a celebrity now?
Drumph: Sure, yeah, you're a celebrity now.
Me: Great! So I can do this.
Then I'd grab him by the crotch. Then I'd get arrested. So if he didn't want me to get arrested, he'd better not get killed. Fortunately, he came home fine.

Posted or so I thought earlier but it isn't here. I wanted to know if the meal would be prorated based on the donation made? So would the $25 donor only get a hot dog and beans while the more generous donor would get a better meal? Heard that the meals at Mar-A-Lago have been overrated so not sure if I would want to participate (I'd not give him a plugged nickel on real life). Of course, it doesn't say if meals are at Mar-A-Lago or the local Mickey D's.

I have relatives in Wisconsin. When my cousin retired after many years of service to the state, she and the other retirees were honored at a reception hosted by the horrible Governor Walker. She didn't invite her parents because het dad, my festy uncle (who was about 80 at the time) said if he met him, he'd punch the governor right in the nose!

We need to repeal laws that prohibit stores from donating so-called "expired" (especially non-perishable) foods to food pantries, food banks, and other charities. "Best By" and "Best if Used Before" dates indicate the time window for optimal taste, not safety (only "use or freeze by," "sell by," and the increasingly rare "discard after" dates on perishables address safety). Most "pull dates" are to help stores manage inventory, moving the older stock to the front of the shelves or refrigerator cases. There are CSAs popping up offering inexpensive subscriptions to "Imperfect" or even "Ugly Produce." It's amazing how much celery, lettuce, broccoli, etc. gets trimmed when picked, with perfectly edible leaves & stalk tops plowed under (or worse, sent to landfills).

I think the ad is real. I was dumfounded when it showed up in my in-box. Just another instance of heavy-duty grifters at work. The ad mentioned NRSC HQ at the bottom. It had an address and some other identifying materials, but I wanted to save space so x-ed it out. My payback -- the whole thing ended up with huge blank spaces.

I don't care for the trend of associating a person's name with bad behavior and I won't do it. A person's had a name all their life and suddenly it become associated with something unpleasant they've had nothing to do with? At the very least it's insensitive. It's very childish, immature, and I even consider it a form of bullying, taunting and making fun of someone. For that matter, I completely am against the use of the name Brandon for the reason asshats are using it currently. I don't imagine all Brandons are happy with it. Now these things should be passing fads, but still.
People are easily, easily duped. This month, I shorted my name on Facebook from Camille to Cam. I changed my profile picture to a shiny red sports car, and the cover picture is woodland scenery. My objective? To make it appear I could be a man. I occasionally comment on public newsworthy topics and constantly get mansplained or challenged for my views. Since I switched the name/photo, all I've gotten are likes. I purposely commented on manly things, like Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Rothlesberger's retirement (b'bye!) NFL player Antonio Brown's public meltdown (hope he gets professional help), and the chaos of air travel after the holidays (who was surprised?). I'm quite certain if I presented as a female on my comments, a few men would have tried arguing with me.
It feels like the majority of people only jump at the first conclusion they come to, never seeking additional facts or insights. And lots of people out there are just looking for a fight as well as many men trying to claim superiority on social media.
