Well, too bad we can't stop paying Reps. until they understand exactly what loss means in today's day and age.

WTF is he talking about now. It's always a new theory because new things means no one can say you don't know what you're talking about and he sure as hell doesn't.

DOGE could save $18 BILLION by canceling Musk's SpaceX and Tesla subsidies.
Musk hasn't thought of that yet. If he's really serious — you know…….

BREAKING: Fourteen states hit Elon Musk, DOGE, and Donald Trump with a nightmare lawsuit — deploying a slew of facts to prove that Republican efforts to gut the government are fully unconstitutional. MAGA just ran straight into a legal brick wall..."Mr. Musk’s seemingly limitless and unchecked power to strip the government of its workforce and eliminate entire departments with the stroke of a pen or click of a mouse would have been shocking to those who won this country’s independence," the states, led by New Mexico, wrote."There is no office of the United States, other than the President, with the full power of the Executive Branch, and the sweeping authority now vested in a single unelected and unconfirmed individual is antithetical to the nation’s entire constitutional structure," the suit continues. The states involved are Arizona, Michigan, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington. They're arguing that Musk has so much power over the government through his sham DOGE organization that he should have undergone a Senate confirmation process. They point specifically to the Appointments Clause of the Constitution to support their suit."Our constitutional order was founded in part to guard against the accumulation of state power in the hands of a single individual, and while that construction was first focused on the abuse of power of an 18th century monarch, it is no less dangerous in the hands of a 21st century tech tycoon," said New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez. If successful with their suit, the states will block Musk — a corrupt unelected billionaire — as well as his minions from changing the disbursements of public funds, government contracts, regulations, or personnel. It would also block them from accessing or changing crucial data systems.

Very strong agreement coming from me.

Yes, put your money where your mouth is, Musk.

You and Trump being the biggest should go first so we have the BEST examples….

Unfortunately, they are finding out. In fairness — likely not one person ever read about that grant to begin with and so might not even know just why this is happening to them. Beware — if it looks too good to be true — it just may turn out that way.

Not sure why people still believe there is pie in the sky. I guess somewhere along the way I became skeptical about everything. You almost have to prove everything to me and that would go double or triple for anyone I found out to be a con man, liar, cheat, evil and lowdown caring for nothing or no one but himself the FIRST time around.
It was said so many of the voters going for Trump were the ones who have little time or energy left to spend on politics so only started paying attention the last three weeks before election. Hate to admit I was close to one of those people. I did however have the benefit of a family (husband and mother especially) who could share ideas with me those last three weeks when I was raising kids, keeping house, working etc. So, I made the correct choices after all — but I do understand that three weeks is not enough to really understand with your whole heart fully. You could be duped.

I don't care for the picture, but the sentiment is great. I do hope the people who can (so far it seems to be going that way) keep stepping up to deal with this guy and Musk all the way to the point of being rid of both.

Breathtaking and this needs to be rectified asap.

Fear and greed — big motivators.

These two are a waste of space and oxygen here.

Dabbling in a little honesty here — it's a new thing for sure.

None of the above surprises me much. FG spoke about tariffs and his intentions to use them during his campaign. He is mainly about things that punish others, whether or no. The fact that it is not deserved makes no difference to him and he has no true understanding that he is further degrading the U.S. in more ways than one.
After seeing him in action the first time in 2016, I'm sure the majority of countries do know that in general the common man doesn't have anything to do with what's going on. Yes, world, the silent majority are cringing and very un-happy about the damages and harm, as well as the reputation that comes by having re-hired one of the worst leaders there ever was. It is causing not only us harms, but so many others in far-away places that depend on the U.S.

I am of the opinion the child didn't need to be there (used) for whatever reasoning Musk could dream up. Children that age are better left at home playing with their puppy or watching Sesame Street. That was lousy.

Honest and law abiding. He and Heather Cox Richardson would make a great news team.

This feeling way worse. It's going to go on for 4 long years.

So difficult to read.

It's true McConnell's' backbone has shown up really late and is not a very effective protest, but all he did was use events for his own greed and power earlier — much like FG is doing, but he didn't burn down the whole house doing it. McConnell is likely done after this anyway so doesn't really hurt a thing that he protests. Note to Mitch: doesn't make up for those years when you were a taker.
