Wild yam cream ...

Hi everyone, I know this is controversial but I was just wondering has anyone tried using wild yam cream after finishing treatment? I am perimenopausal and have lots of symptoms. I declined tamoxifen as my personal benefit was small and overall outcome would be the same regardless of it i took it or not. So I'm not on any hormones but really want to help ease my perimenopausal symptoms.

Yes my DCIS was ER + but progesterone receptor wasn't checked as sample was so small. I only had 3mm of intermediate grade DCIS in total and had clear margins post lumpectomy. Finished radiotherapy too. 15 rounds. I'm not ruling out bioidentical HRT in the future but would prefer to be 'disease free' 5 years before I do but looking for something natural in the mean time. Would love to knowvyour experience with wild yam cream or thoughts. Of course my oncologist knew nothing about it 🙄

Unfortunately, many false reports on Wild Yam Cream are out there, including the scientific articles that talk about diosgenin. (Which was only found out about, because our ancestors used wild yam for hormone balance for hundreds of years prior.)

In any case, I have noticed many new and tons of "fake" products on the market that are also impacting the effectiveness reports of people.
I used MoonMaid botanical's Wild Yam Cream with a lot of success years ago. They were recommended to me by a nurse, and have been around since the 90's as I talked to the owner. The best part is, the main reason the product was made was to have an option for people post-cancer… so…. that felt right for me. I didn't want a synthetic hormone product.
Lots of reviews and this product is also sold in clinics. I wouldn't believe all of the "nay say" online that seems so copy and paste, it's all stuck in old-studies that are only looking at wild yam by itself. Most of these products have more than just that 1 ingredient and the ones that have been around since the 90's simply wouldn't have people using it for 30 years unless it works….
