Only a real ass***e would come up with such an evil plan and of course he would pay no mind to ruthless and violet and send anyone there just because he could. This one shouldn't fly.

It's that for once I'm looking at because for much of the time Pence was a little boot-licker like so many others before and after him. Yes, I appreciate that ultimately he did the right thing — but only because he knew he didn't really have a choice.
Have always wondered — if he could have had choice what might it have been? Something tells me he might have taken another lick on the boot.

THE MEDIA NEEDS TO STOP PRETENDING ABOUT TRUMP CONFLICTS.
Words matter. When the media points out Trump’s “potential conflicts of interest,” as it has in recent days when describing Trump’s growing crypto enterprise, it doesn’t come close to telling the public what’s really going on — unprecedented paybacks and self-dealing by the president of the United States, using his office to make billions.
Trump’s venture into crypto has increased his family’s wealth by an estimated $2.9 billion in the last six months, according to a new report.
This estimate was made before the Trump family crypto firm, World Liberty Financial, announced that its so-called “stablecoin” — with Trump’s likeness all over it — will be used by the United Arab Emirates to make a $2 billion business deal with Binance, the largest crypto exchange in the world. The deal will generate hundreds of millions of dollars more for the Trump family.
We’re not talking about a “potential conflict of interest.” The Trump family is making a boatload of money off a venture backed by a foreign government. Hello? The U.S. Constitution's Emoluments Clause, Article II, Section 1, Clause 7, bars a president from receiving any compensation or other emolument from a foreign government.
The deal also formally links the Trump family business to Binance — a company that’s been under U.S. government oversight since 2023, when it admitted to violating federal money-laundering laws.

I'm not happy with Kristen Welker and haven't been for a long time, but I do note in her very recent interview with Trump she did ask him just when IT would be his economy.
As stated before, Pres. Biden was in power for 19 days only of the first quarter before Trump too over (if you can call it that). So Loon now says he was responsible for all the good economy and Pres. Biden the bad. I do note the BAD economy was in the latter part of the three months while Loon had full control. Loon is well known for never owning up to anything that makes him look wrong in any way. He has little trouble finding needed scapegoats and cares not whether Reps. or Democrats. As long as there is someone to put it on.

BREAKING: Donald Trump takes a sledgehammer to the stock market as his insane threat to force a 100% tariff on all movies produced in "Foreign Lands" causes the the stock of Hollywood studios and streamers to plummet.
Every time this man opens his mouth, Americans lose money...
In early morning trading, Netflix experienced a roughly 4% drop, Disney a 2% drop, and Warner Bros. Discovery a 3% drop. Paramount's stock dropped by 2% and Comcast, the parent company of Universal, went down by 1%.
Those drops are substantial and will negatively affect the retirement funds and pensions of countless Americans. The minor panic was, as usual, caused by a deranged Truth Social post penned by Trump last night.
"The Movie Industry in America is DYING a very fast death. Other Countries are offering all sorts of incentives to draw our filmmakers and studios away from the United States. Hollywood, and many other areas within the U.S.A., are being devastated," he wrote.
"This is a concerted effort by other Nations and, therefore, a National Security threat. It is, in addition to everything else, messaging and propaganda! Therefore, I am authorizing the Department of Commerce, and the United States Trade Representative, to immediately begin the process of instituting a 100% Tariff on any and all Movies coming into our Country that are produced in Foreign Lands. WE WANT MOVIES MADE IN AMERICA, AGAIN!" Trump added.
The idea was immediately and roundly condemned by experts because such tariffs would obviously hurt the film industry by forcing the cancellation of countless movies and TV shows. Some even suggested that it could cause a total collapse of the industry.
Thankfully, the administration already appears to be backtracking—
"Although no final decisions on foreign film tariffs have been made, the Administration is exploring all options to deliver on President Trump’s directive to safeguard our country’s national and economic security while Making Hollywood Great Again," White House spokesman Kush Desai told The Hollywood Reporter.
If Trump actually cared about helping the movie industry he'd push for new tax credits and subsidies.
Of course, he won't do that because it might mean less substantial tax cuts for his super rich friends. The only thing that Republicans believe in spending your tax dollars on is themselves and their big money donors.
This has been the way for a long time. The man is stone cold dumb and refuses to learn. That would take time away from his narcissism. Surely one who knows everything has no further reason to grow by studying.

BREAKING: Senator Tammy Duckworth throws down the gauntlet to Trump’s deeply incompetent nominee for U.N. Ambassador Mike Waltz and promises “a brutal, brutal hearing.”
She went scorched earth with this one…
“He’s not qualified for the job, just by nature of the fact that he participated in this Signal chain,” Duckworth said of Mike Waltz during an appearance on CBS News.
Former National Security Advisor Waltz rocketed into infamy after he accidentally added the Editor-in-Chief of The Atlantic to an unsecured group chat in which top Trump officials were discussing sensitive war plans.
Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance have been insisting that Waltz wasn’t terminated or forced to resign as National Security Advisor and is in fact simply being shuffled to a better fit as UN Ambassador. Few experts put any credence in the claim.
United Nations Ambassador is a Senate-confirmed position unlike his previous job, so Democrats will have an opportunity to rake Waltz over the coals.
“He is failing in his job and getting promoted to be ambassador,” added Duckworth. “That’s not what our nation needs at the United Nations. This is a very perilous time for our national security.”
The senator is absolutely correct. Waltz has demonstrated a profound level of incompetence that directly endangers the lives of Americans. A sane president would fire him and ban him from government work.
Of course, Donald Trump doesn’t care about incompetence. He’d rather put Americans at risk than admit that one of his minions screwed up because it would reflect poorly on him.
Lets hope for a bit of dust on his upper lip.

BREAKING: Donald Trump and MAGA Health Secretary RFK Jr. get nightmare news as a super-coalition of Attorneys General from 19 states and D.C. band together to sue the administration over its "unconstitutional dismantling" of the Department of Health and Human Services.
And it gets even better...
"This administration is not streamlining the federal government; they are sabotaging it and all of us," said New York Attorney General Letitia James.
"When you fire the scientists who research infectious diseases, silence the doctors who care for pregnant patients, and shut down the programs that help firefighters and miners breathe or children thrive, you are not making America healthy – you are putting countless lives at risk," she added.
The mega-lawsuit demands that RFK's so-called "restructuring" be stopped because it has resulted in the destruction of the agency and the dissolution of crucial life-saving programs.
Under Kennedy, the agency has been carrying out mass layoffs and compacted 28 agencies into 15 while closing half of HHS's regional offices. The result is a crippled agency incapable of tending to the needs of the American people or properly preparing for the future.
The lawsuit points out that the firings were particularly targeted at workers from "disfavored work and programs" including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Food and Drug Administration, and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. Given Kennedy's anti-vax positions and anti-science beliefs, this should not be surprising.
"In its first three months, Secretary Kennedy and this administration deprived HHS of the resources necessary to do its job,” the Attorneys General wrote. "The terminations and reorganizations happened quickly, but the consequences are severe, complicated, and potentially irreversible."
The suit alleges that the administration has violated hundreds of laws in its slash-and-burn approach, undermined and circumvented Congress, and "trampled the constitutional separation of powers."
Arizona California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Michigan, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin and the District of Columbia are all involved in the suit.
