I started chemo in March, but wanted to give this group a bump up 👍

Starting chemo in 2 days. I will have 4 rounds of TC. I will be doing the Paxman system. Staying positive and hopeful that I manage this well.

@moderators it's going ok. I'm able to work through it and can do most of the essential things around the house. I've had a bunch of side effects, but so many of them can be managed or addressed. I'm done with A/C thankfully, and am on weekly Taxol now. Feels like a long course as I have 11 weeks still to go...
Thanks for asking! @kayceezee if I can help in some way I'll be happy to, my protocol is different but I am still happy to offer support. Good luck!

Day 4 of first round of TC. Feeling low energy but not too bad. Infusion itself was fine and Paxman went okay too.

Hi @kayceezee glad it's not too bad! I didn't do TC but have found that often there is some predictability that happens with the chemo cycles... which makes it feel more manageable, I think. How often are your treatments?
My biggest complaints on taxol are bone pain, fevers/ chills, and fatigue. I was able to work on a weeding and mulching project over the weekend - with lots of breaks, and lots of help - and it was definitely too much; I'm struggling with my energy level at work today. Fortunately, because of that predictability, I feel confident that I'll have a few good days before my next infusion... which is Friday this week instead of Thursday.
