Bruce Springsteen is as bold as ever, and he is not backing off his criticism of Donald Trump and his administration. In the live recording he just released, Land of Hope and Dreams, Springsteen’s political statements are front and center. At the start of his Manchester concert, captured on this EP, he declared, “In my home, the America I love, the America I’ve written about that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration.” He urged, “Rise with us, raise your voices against authoritarianism and let freedom ring.”

Springsteen’s words on the recording go even further as he warns, “There’s some very strange and dangerous things happening out there right now. In America, individuals are being persecuted for exercising their right to free speech and expressing their dissent. This is happening now.” He didn’t hesitate to call out Trump’s government for “taking sadistic pleasure in the pain that they inflict on loyal American workers,” “rolling back historic civil rights legislation,” and “abandoning our great allies and siding with dictators against those struggling for their freedom.”

Even after Trump lashed out at him online, Springsteen stood his ground. On the recording, he assures fans, “The America I have sung about for 50 years is genuine, and despite its flaws, it is a remarkable country filled with incredible people. Therefore, we will endure this moment.” With this new release, Springsteen is not just performing—he is rallying Americans to keep fighting for democracy and justice.

The BOSS has always been there for us. I so hope people will consider that we are remarkable and together we can do so much — for the better. For others and ourselves. Shine your light.

One of the reason's this man should never be in front of some people lest he be laying down suddenly with a very sore jaw. So big of you to mention when it has never been your personal problem. Perhaps open your dictionary to empathy some time soon.

The Trump administration, with Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem at the helm, stripped Harvard of its ability to enroll international students, putting over a quarter of the university’s student body in jeopardy. She made it clear this action was not isolated, warning on national television that other colleges could face the same fate if they did not “get their act together” and comply with the administration’s demands. This crackdown is part of a broader campaign by Trump to reshape higher education, targeting what he calls liberal bias, diversity initiatives, and the hiring of prominent Democrats at elite universities.

International students, who make up about 27 percent of Harvard’s enrollment, were told they must transfer or risk losing their legal status. Noem’s order meant that even current foreign exchange students would have to leave the country or face deportation, a prospect that is truly frightening seeing as we are now sending anyone trump wants to torture prisons in El Salvador.

Fortunately, a federal judge in California blocked the administration from revoking international students’ legal status nationwide, calling the government’s actions arbitrary and disruptive. The judge’s ruling provided immediate relief for thousands of students and signaled that the courts would not allow the Trump administration or Kristi Noem to target immigrants and academic freedom without proper legal justification. Although if I was a foreign exchange student at Harvard I might feel a little nervous about sticking around.

I'm sure they knew this wouldn't pass muster so they are hoping to make you NERVOUS and upset and confused about what to do.

https://tinyurl.com/e9b5cfp6 I think/hope tis will open for you. It is rather convoluted. I 'm presuming since I took the free versions of the url shortener. I found it an interesting read because I'm always wondering how in the world to damage Trump.

This sounds rather useful, but frankly I'm not at all sure you could get people on board enough to really do it. Still, there is some hope by just constantly not ebbing drawn in and constantly calling him out.

I'm going to hit the MSM and see if it will work for me. It did — when you hit MSM, it opens a little port that says tiny url and just hit that. I hope it will work for any of you the same as it did for me.

I think I read (and often his face looks it now) that Trump started taking Ozempic or one of those to drop some of his wt. which he apparently has. Even at that though, I do not find it a great physical improvement although I did hear it said that he is now no longer in the obese category but just overwt.

Any wt. loss for him would tend to be better, but he is much older, has a number of other issues none the least the mental horrors of dementia. So, in the long run while he seems to derive benefit by a couple of drugs he is taking (apparently he is able to avoid some plaque or something) still I think he looks more sick than well to me. It may not bother some, but my knowing how poorly his mental structure is tends to make me think negatively in any case. He is in my view as disgusting no matter what size he is and in truth for me - there is no comparison possible for him and anyone who is more or less normal size and fairly normal mental processes.

I was able to read the article just by clicking on the MSN and it is very insightful as to how to treat his delusions of grandeur. Go Hakeem Jeffries because it seems you have discovered how to remove his power.
