Early Memorial Day 2025, President Donald Trump used his Truth Social platform to post a rambling diatribe.

Trump, writing in all caps, posted, "HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY TO ALL, INCLUDING THE SCUM THAT SPENT THE LAST FOUR YEARS TRYING TO DESTROY OUR COUNTRY THROUGH WARPED RADICAL LEFT MINDS, WHO ALLOWED 21,000,000 MILLION PEOPLE TO ILLEGALLY ENTER OUR COUNTRY, MANY OF THE BEING CRIMINALS AND THE MENTAO INSANE,THROUGH AN OPEN BORDER THAT ONLY AN INCOMPETENT PRESIDENT WOULD APPROVE, AND THROUGH JUDGES WHO ARE ON A MISSION TO KEEP MURDERERS, DRUG DEALERS, RAPISTS, GANG MEMBERS, AND RELEASED PRISONERS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD, IN OUR COUNTRY SO THEY CAN ROB, MURDERERS, AND RAPE AGAIN, PROTECTED BY THESE USA HATING JUDGES WHO SUFFER FROM AN IDEOLOGY THAT IS SICK, AND VERY DANGEROUS FOR OUR COUNTRY. HOPEFULLY THE UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT, AND OTHER GOOD AND COMPASSIONATE JUDGES THROUGHOUT THE LAND, WILL SAVE US FROM THE DECISIONS OF THE MONSTERS WHO WANT OUR COUNTRY TO GO TO HELL."

But Trump, according to Mediaite, later deleted that post and replaced it with a much shorter post that read simply, "HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!

The original post is receiving a lot of reactions on X, formerly Twitter.

This is Trump at his un-finest which is basically all the time.

Ruth, this quote should be sent to every congressman and senator to remind them of their duty to the Constitution and democracy.

Glad to see Robert F. Kennedy —- the good one. Also Pete Buttigieg. As I put in what the orange thing said, having something to offset that was perfect. I can't say it brought me down because I already knew that we would get the worst from him. Yet having something so wonderful to read right after was so uplifting. I am so thankful for those I consider TRUE heroes.

A part of me will always understand that we have to share the world with people like the Loon. I guess I will as well always be amazed that somehow we didn't quite learn as much as we should have the first time around and had to have a replay on it. I hope the rebound after this goes double or triple. We do always seem to swing back the pendulum when it goes too far — and I think it's way too far now.

Not sure who got to the Loon to get his original piece taken down, but even had I not seen it we all know what is in his heart and soul and it is nothing good.

So here's to heroes (my Sen. Tammy Duckworth is one) and our country and to those who have a conscience and a gratefulness for their life. It shows us all where the the right path begins and helps us stay on it. You are all my heroes here.

Apparently this is what is going on with the removal of the Loon's first Memorial Day message. Who at the WH is in charge of that ?? I don't know but frankly the \loon will never know what a kindness was done for him. As stated we all know almost verbatim the type of things he ALWAYS says, so even had we not seen what was taken down it wouldn't matter. Vicious and ugly don't change much and they seem to be really life-long traits for the Loon.

If we can see so much in font of our faces, what in the world might be taking place behind our backs. I really get a bit of a case of nerves over that one.

More likely afraid he'd be asked questions he wouldn't have a good answer for. Currently (if ever) he is not a good off the cuff speaker in any situation and certainly not when it is military matters.

Even though I watched RR on tv when he was a part of All In The Family, I never thought so much of it, but he is spot on and has been with the Loon — both times.

I did not hear or read the speech, but it was given by Trump. I knew it would be mainly horrid.

The life of the individual has meaning only insofar as it aids in making the life of every living thing nobler and more beautiful. Life is sacred, that is to say, it is the supreme value, to which all other values are subordinate.

I am reading this morning how the court/John Roberts is upset about the liberties (he himself authored for the Loon) is now taking for himself. Well, despite hoping to push the court to the right, Roberts has completely mis-read that the Loon has any decent moral fiber anywhere in that largely and mainly rotund body.

Despite that the Loon (for now anyway) is still getting plenty of losses. Also, I do think in the end, the insistence in ignoring what he was elected to actually do and the immunity which allows him to do things that are extremely vindictive and hurtful to those who elected him, that he and his party will find themselves highly ignored and dis-qualified when the time comes to re-elect.

As to why anyone would think the Loon would 'do' the right thing is is well beyond me. Those who detest the left never really cared til' now, and only now because many of them are worse off than we on the left as they are in no way favored either. What could anyone think when you select a cabinet of dimwits who only want to fulfill their own greed and avarice/desiring powers. Right then those on the rt. should have been hugely skeptical and highly nervous.

Mr. Cranston, you have so many people on the left wondering and thinking the same darn thing. It would be nice to find out we had a lot of Independent people as well which I think we do.
