This is not a big surprise to we Democrats. The Loon NEVER had intention one of doing anything that might benefit anyone including the majority of Magats this time too.

BREAKING: MAGA Senator Joni Ernst's disgusting Medicaid cuts remark that "we’re all going to die" backfires spectacularly as Democratic Congressman J.D. Scholten launches a campaign to take her Senate seat.

Ernst may have just flushed away her entire career...

"After her comments over the weekend, I’ve been thinking about it for a while, but that’s when I just said: This is unacceptable, and you’ve gotta jump in,” Scholten said to The Gazette.

"I just felt, you know, I have to do this. Now’s the time, and rather than being perfect with everything, I just feel like you got to do it," he told Politico. He correctly observed that Ernst's remarks "disrespected" her constituents.

"We’re taking them off [Medicaid], so billionaires can have a second yacht, so they can have a bigger tax break," said Scholten. "We have a system that’s geared towards and favors billionaires and huge multinational corporations, and that’s not working for most of Iowa."

While Iowa is considered deep red territory, Scholten is optimistic about his chances.

"I firmly believe that when you get out there to the people, prove you’re trustworthy, you’re gonna earn votes no matter who the folks are," he said. "I know how to talk to folks who don’t always vote Democrat."

Ernist ignited this media firestorm when she was asked during a town hall about the fact that cuts to Medicaid and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program will result in Americans dying.

"Well, we’re all going to die," she said.

She then made matters worse by doubling down in a video in which she said that that she "made an incorrect assumption that everyone in the auditorium understood that, yes, we are all going to perish from this Earth."

"So I apologize, and I’m really, really glad that I did not have to bring up the subject of the tooth fairy as well," she added.

This is what passes for politics in the Republican Party these days. It's not enough for them to cut crucial services and inflict mass suffering and death on the American people, they insist on spitting in our faces while they do it.

The people of Iowa deserve better.

I think the Reps. after having to look the other way, pretend they don't know, and go along with a lunatic are all just about as far gone as their orange leader. The infection has spread all over.

I'm so glad that she and Trump are married so they don't ruin someone who may not deserve it. They both have bad intents and so belong together and not with decent people.

If you can't be a pine on the top of the hill Be a scrub in the valley--but be The best little scrub by the side of the rill; Be a bush, if you can't be a tree. If you can't be a bush, be a bit of the grass, And some highway happier make; If you can't be a muskie, then just be a bass--But the liveliest bass in the lake! We can't all be captains, we've got to be crew, There's something for all of us here. There's big work to do and there's lesser to do And the task we must do is the near. If you can't be a highway, then just be a trail, If you can't be the sun, be a star; It isn't by size that you win or you fail--Be the best of whatever you are!

Not right now for sure. Really starting to wonder how long they can leave this guy wandering around and ranting over something-anything whenever a thought strikes. Apparently that at least can still happen.

BREAKING: MAGA world melts down as anti-Trump film "The Apprentice" dominates the prestigious Canadian Screen Awards, racking up wins in numerous categories including best movie and best leading role, ending with the producer calling out Trump from the stage.

    And it gets even better...

"Our movie shows how the young Donald Trump amassed wealth and power by finding a dilapidated building and slapping his name on it as president. We’ll see how that works out," said co-producer Daniel Bekerman while accepting one of the prizes.

"Now he wants to slap his name on this country. This is a challenge, but a good challenge, because as independent filmmakers and storytellers, what we need to do, what is our responsibility, is to tell stories with honesty that can build trust and build community," he continued.

"The rise of indigenous cinema in this country gives me hope. The rise of queer cinema in this country gives me hope. But we’re faced with power structures that want to silence us. It’s time to lock arms," said Bekerman.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the awards show "put marginalized voices front and center and challenged the global political landscape."

Sebastian Stan, the actor who played Trump and won best leading role, delivered a widely lauded performance that depicted Trump as the craven, opportunistic, predator he truly is. The film depicts a harrowing scene in which Trump sexually assaults his then-wife Ivana.

"The Apprentice" snagged five wins overall, winning Best Film, Best Lead Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Makeup, and Best Hair.

Bekerman hailed Canada for having the courage to recognize the film properly.

"But Ali, I told you, you have to come to Canada if you want to find some guts in this industry," he said to director Ali Abbasi.

Trump himself is acutely aware of the movie and previously unleashed a Truth Social rant calling it a "cheap, defamatory and politically disgusting hatchet job." He even threatened to sue over it, but never followed through.

Andrew Rankin, the winner of the best movie director prize for his movie "Universal Language," also appeared to throw some oblique shots at Donald Trump.

"We all know what political moment we’re living in. Every day there are new Berlin Walls shooting up all around us and pitting us against each other in very cruel binaries," he said. "And if our film stands for anything, it stands for the fact that kindness can be a radical gesture, and that’s really what we believe in now more than ever."

These awards send a resounding message to Donald Trump that Canada will not be terrorized into giving him respect that he so clearly does not deserve. Canada will never become the 51st state to fulfill his imperialist fantasies and his trade war will only end in economic disaster.

After Trump is long gone, this movie will remain, offering insight to future generations about the monster who once conned this nation into giving him the White House.

This isn’t a sci-fi movie; Palantir, a tech company with deep ties to Trump allies, is building a sweeping federal database that will centralize sensitive information about Americans from agencies like the IRS, Social Security, and immigration services. Creepy enough for ya? This project, powered by Palantir’s AI-driven software, is being rolled out under Trump’s executive order that dismantled previous barriers to government data sharing. Skynet? The result is a system that can merge tax records, student loans, medical claims, bank accounts, and much more, creating a detailed digital profile of nearly every citizen.

What is especially striking is the hypocrisy from many Republicans who have loudly railed against government overreach for years. They have used the fear of a tyrannical government as a main reason to block any meaningful gun safety legislation, claiming Americans need firearms to protect themselves from state abuse. Yet, as this administration builds the most powerful surveillance tool in US history, many of those same voices are silent or even supportive. For all the bluster those dudes sure do love to lick boots. It is hard to ignore how quickly their concern for personal freedom evaporates when the overreach comes from their own side.

Palantir’s stock is soaring and investors are thrilled which is cause in itself for alarm. The tech bros won’t be happy until they have completely altered everything about how our country and the world works into their favor while the rest of us turn into peasants fighting for scraps. The real story is about democracy and power, but mostly power. Centralizing this much personal data in the hands of one administration and one private company is an insane threat to privacy, civil rights, and the basic checks and balances that are supposed to protect Americans from government abuse. This is not just about efficiency or modernization; it is about whether the government serves the people, or surveils them.

Peter Thiel once again thrusting himself into today's politics having bought the Loon earlier on and capitalizing once again from the un-holy union.
