Popular Pro-Trump Comedian Explodes Over Betrayal, Claims Trump Is Doing Exact Opposite Of What He Promised
The base is cracking

Andrew Schulz was once seen as a friendly face to Trump. Now, he’s furious.
The popular comedian and podcast host turned on President Donald Trump during Thursday’s episode of Flagrant, saying the president has broken almost every promise since returning to the White House.
“He’s doing the exact opposite of everything I voted for,” Schulz said. “I want him to stop the wars. He’s funding them. I want him to shrink spending, reduce the budget. He’s increasing it.”
Schulz, who has nearly 2 million YouTube subscribers, had Trump on his podcast last year during the election campaign. That episode went viral when Trump told him he was “basically a truthful person” — and Schulz burst out laughing.
But this time, there was no laughing.
The video player is currently playing an ad.
Schulz said he now feels like nothing Trump promised is being done.
“There’ll be people that they’ll DM me and be like, ‘You see what your boy’s doing? You voted for this.’ I’m like, ‘I voted for none of this.’”
He didn’t hold back. Sitting with his co-hosts Akaash Singh, Mark Gagnon, and producer Alexx Media, Schulz called out what he sees as a complete betrayal of voters who wanted something different.
In an interview with the New York Times last month, Schulz explained why he supported Trump at first. He said it wasn’t just about Trump—it was a vote against the Democratic establishment.
He said the Democrats were “stripping the democratic process from its constituents.”
Going into his Trump interview, Schulz had three things he wanted to push: protecting access to IVF, showing “empathy” for undocumented immigrants, and ending foreign wars.
But now, he says Trump has failed on all fronts.
His co-host Akaash Singh also called out Trump’s immigration policy, questioning if anything is being done.
“I don’t even know if the criminals are getting sent back,” Singh said. “I know there’s a lot of people with green cards getting sent back. There’s people who aren’t criminals getting sent back.”
The conversation took a sharper turn when Epstein’s name came up.
Schulz was visibly upset that Trump never followed through on his promise to release files related to Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted child sex abuser with ties to powerful elites.
“It’s insulting our intelligence. Like, obviously, the intelligence community is trying to cover it up. Obviously, the Trump administration is trying to cover up,” Schulz said. “Something changed because they ran on this idea of exposing it all.”
Some now say Trump’s appearance on Flagrant helped him reach young male voters during the campaign. The vibe was loose, funny, and relatable. But after winning, Schulz says Trump is doing the opposite of what he said.
“I voted for none of this,” he repeated.
Recently, Flagrant has hosted more left-leaning guests, including Sen. Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg. Buttigieg warned listeners not to fall for Trump’s promises.
“To me, like most of the stuff he said he was going to do, he didn’t actually do,” Buttigieg said. “He didn’t do the big infrastructure bill he talked about. [The Biden administration] actually did it. He didn’t even build the wall.”
For Andrew Schulz, the joke is over. The promises are broken. And the message is loud: “This is not what I voted for.”

I really do wonder at times, because it is definitely hard to get to the bottom of things and feel that you have REALLY gotten the bottom line, just how many people are extremely un-happy that were FOR the Loon before. That said — it still amazes me that soooo many seemed to have believed this character con artist meant much of anything he said. They were told over and over these 'promises' would not be kept. Then again it was our side (always knowing full well) that the likelihood was pretty much slim if you could get any of it.
II suppose I should not be surprised that there was loyalty to a party. I'm very loyal to mine, but then while there have been plenty of things I might not have liked that my party did or chose, still there is a morality in them that is almost totally and completely absent from the Reps. party and even more the Loon. Some in the party are not good people but they are well out-numbered —with the Reps. party, it is definitely the other day around.
I hope this story continues to be the case and that the fracture becomes the beginning of a rather quick end.

This is an item of interest likely here. This part is about 11 miles or so from us — in the nest town which is our county seat. William Jennings Bryan is a relation. Since I've never been one much for genealogy as we are Cherokee as well, so I'm not sure but would guess possibly a cousin. I don't think too far out either.
I knew this was to take place, but made no plans to go. I would not do likely too badly but I've begun to avoid places due to Dh being 86 and struggling a lot more than he realizes. I'm glad that he still wants to go — but I really think its easier if we don't try for some things. I'm willing to go to Walmart and places like that. I have him hold onto the cart with me — and we can go fairly fast. Left to his own he is slow and tedious and apt to get in the way now and then.
100th anniversary Scopes Monkey Trial reenactment PerformanceBruce KroppJul 12, 2025 | 2:34 PMBy Cole WimberlyThe 100th anniversary Scopes Monkey Trial was held in the Bryan Memorial Park for two performances at the band stage on Saturday, July 12th.What some people call “The Trial of the Century” was the court case that discussed whether evolution should be taught in schools or if it goes against common Christian belief. The defendant, John Scopes, was accused of violating the Butler Act, which prohibited teaching evolution in public schools, by the prosecutor, William Jennings Bryan. The trial became a national spectacle, pitting the forces of religious beliefs against those of scientific views and academic freedom. Although evolution is taught in schools today, Scopes was found guilty.Jim Koehler has been working on this project for two years and is one of the leading people in charge of organizing this event. Koehler is involved with the Salem Historic Museum and explains what a trial like this can mean to the public.“Well, I hope that it will show that William Jennings Bryan was really a great statesman, which we don’t really have today. I mean running for president at the age of 36, just barely even old enough to be president, and running three times and losing. Bryan was the most influential loser of the United States.”Michelle Barbee assisted in finding actors for the show, and rehearsals began on the first of May and continued all the way through the past week. The first performance was from 11:15 to 12:30, and the second began at 1:30 and ended at 2:45. Before the trial began, live music was played honoring Bryan.Even though there was rain for the first performance, the trial had roughly 250 people in attendance, which Koehler said was one of the biggest crowds to be a part of an event in the park. A large tent was put up over the stage, which kept the performers dry. There were food trucks, vintage cars, and a pavilion set up with free handheld fans in case of heat.2 -
This is way off topic but with things as they are and who knows how much worse they could get I decided I'd share this discovery.
Leaving another note for anyone who may have cats at their house. Sandy may already be up on this. The NEW litter we decided to use is Pine pellets. Apparently this is often used for many farm animals, especially horses, as bedding. How it was discovered to be good litter — who knows. It is
VERYeconomical. Daughter ordered it from Walmart and it was roughly $16.00 for 40 #'s.SIL's mother always got the same thing at Pet Smart and my daughter said it was even cheaper there. The name on the bag says Dr. Poi and says it is pine pellet cat litter. The litter I've used for a long time Fresh Step is $18.00 for 22 or 25#'s depending on very slight formula changes. So if anyone is interested in possibly changing and trying it — I'd likely go to Pet Smart. We have to drive about an hr. and 20 mins. to our Pet Smart which we will likely do next time.
I think I've walk past things like this — likely at Pet Smart or somewhere like it, and just couldn't quite make the leap to something that seemed so different. With current situations, I'm willing to branch way out. So far, so good.

Rosie O’Donnell Torches Trump Over Citizenship Threat, Doesn’t Hold Back
I was only a fan of Rosie O' Donnell for a while — during her first show and a couple of her first comedy sketches. She worn thin on me and I've not cared much for her ever since. For a while it seemed she was getting herself in the news and not in positive ways.
That said, it sounds just like the Loon to threaten someone who does not even live in the U.S. right now. Mainly due to the Loon getting re-elected. She is living in Ireland ( I think it is) right now and intends to stay until the Loon is no longer. In this case I'm entirely on her side. She has apparently never been for the Loon and will never have anything good to say of him.

I'm sure it hurts these men to comtem0plate the loss of these lives when proper care of systems might have made all the difference. I hope total shame cover Sen. Cornyn. Great shame to you.

BREAKING: Donald Trump makes his trip to Texas after the tragic flash floods all about himself by going on an extended rant about the failed attempt on his life and claims that God "saved" him.
This is enough to churn your stomach...
"People were screaming you know 'get down, get down.' The whole thing was just crazy and it's hard to believe a year is up and, uh, here we are and a lot of things have happened since then including the presidency," Trump told Fox News reporter Will Cain.
Thomas Matthew Crooks shot at Trump during his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13th of last year using an AR-15 style rifle. Crooks was a registered Republican.
"So, you know, I have an obligation to do a good job I feel cause I was really saved, I was really saved by somebody very special," Trump said, pointing up at the sky. "People that are shooters, I'm not so much of a shooter, but people that were shooters say it's almost impossible that that was a miss. I mean it was a hit, but it was a miss."
"Uh although I do get that throbbing feeling every once in a while," said Trump.
"Is that right?" asked Cain.
"Yeah a little bit," said Trump. "Uh, but, uh, no I owe a lot... And I think— I hope the reason I was saved was to save our country. You know we had a country that was, I don't say dead because it's too strong, but we had a country that was really very close to being finished in my opinion. And now we have the hottest country in the world. That's why I'm so saddened by this but you know, it's one of those things, those tragic things that happen..."
The suggestion that Trump was "saved" by God in order to "save" our country is an insult to anyone with even vaguely religious commitments. His second term has been an unmitigated disaster for the world, ranging from his destructive tariffs to his illegal bombing of Iran. He cemented his legacy of ashes last week when he signed the Big Beautiful Bill, legislation that strips $1 trillion from Medicaid and will result in countless Americans dying totally avoidable deaths.
The death toll from the Texas floods is now over 120 people. Trump slashed funding for the National Weather Service earlier this year.
I could use so many bad words in describing this imbecile. To me he is barely deserving of being called human. And it is a HUGE, HUGE insult for him to say that he was saved by God. If you were, you dolt it is because you are the finest example of filth, rot, and chicanery that the world has ever seen — but you are not long. Your mind is running away from you —- and you know something — I would too.

THANK YOU MR. WU:
BREAKING: Texas State Representative Gene Wu exposes how Republicans are directly responsible for the tragic flash flood deaths in his state — and slams them for ignoring climate change when we have "500 year storms that keep hitting every single year."
This was a show-stopping takedown by Wu...
"The New York Times reported this year the Texas legislature funded only a very small portion of this backlog of flood management projects totaling some $54 billion," said CNN's Jake Tapper.
"$54 billion... Because as you know these floods are not new. This is the worst of them," Tapper continued. "But the idea of flooding in this area and other parts of Texas is a constant threat to lives. So this $54 billion went largely unfunded but the legislature did pass $51 billion of property tax cuts. What was your take on that?"
The Republican decision to slash property taxes while neglecting life-saving flood prevention projects is a perfect microcosm of the kleptocratic MAGA ethos best demonstrated at the federal level by the Big Beautiful Bill, which cuts $1 trillion from Medicaid while ramming through tax cuts for the rich. Republicans are looting the treasury at every level of government, from the White House down to the State House, and working class Americans are getting stuck with the deadly consequences.
"So this is one of the things that we've been railing against," said Wu. "Democrats in this House whether this session or previous session, continuously offer bills to help prepare for disasters. Rep. Martinez had a bill this time that would help us locate victims faster. Rep. Anchía had a bill to say let's have preparedness studies for these extreme storms. Rep. Reynolds had a bill to say let's push money into damaged communities faster."
"Every single one of these bills — and a dozen other bills — were all killed by Republicans and for no reason at all," Wu continued. "Every single time Democrats try to bring up that it's not just the 100 year storm, it's the 200 year storms, it's the 500 year storms that keep hitting every single year."
Trump has claimed that the flooding was a "hundred-year catastrophe" but we know for a fact that climate change, which Republicans call a "hoax," is making extreme weather events deadlier and more frequent with each passing year.
"And we're saying there's something wrong with that. You're not supposed to have 500 year events every single year," Wu said. "And every time Democrats offer up legislation, amendments to say let's do something about this, let's save lives, let's prepare, it's uniformly rejected on party lines by Republicans."
So far, at least 120 people have been confirmed dead from the Texas floods.
At this point, voting for Republicans must be considered a form of national suicide. These conservative politicians care about one thing: stripping this country down to the studs on behalf of their wealthy donors and corporations. If they keep getting elected, the body count will just keep rising as more and more wealth is siphoned away from the rest of us.
We are in an existential struggle for survival. Vote accordingly.
So very well said. I definitely wish to applaud Mr. Wu.

FYI, I buy Fresh Step regular 40 lb. bags at Costco for around $14.50 each. BJ's also has lower prices for it. No longer buy it at PetSmart because too many times they were out of stock or offered the "light" stuff which my cats hated and was a mess to clean up.

No cats, just one big dog. But speaking of cats, here is a Facebook post by the Democrat who ran for the Senate (being we're in North Dakota, of course she lost, to an absolutely worthless candidate).

I don't know really, but I do know the Loon is very evil and would NEVER go out for anyone else if it even looked remotely to his detriment.

True !! I am still deeply disappointed in Merritt Garland. I know there was a lot taking place and needing adjustments after the 4 yr. fiasco that was the Loon but there was also it appeared much major foot dragging. My yardstick at the time was make sure no grass grows — and we ended up with tall weeds.

Interesting as I just read a piece on the way here which indicated M. Trump isn't around the WH all that much. Has shown up for a couple of things, but I'm thinking she doesn't want the backflow from the kind of idiocy the Loon now randomly spouts. Despite my very strong dislike of her (she is too much like the Loon) she does NOT have dementia, would not want to be cornered by any reporters, and perhaps just generally waiting until the day the dementia shuts the nutcase down for good.
